  • Multiple calendars on wordpress highlighting only specific categories

    Does anyone know of how, in wordpress, I could implement many calendars on a site, each only highlighting days that are within a specific category? I am hoping to setup multiple calendars, each tracking all of the events from their own cat.     Hi, A portion of my laptop screen broke. Is there any kind of software that will just ignore that part and resize everything accordingly? It's like 1/6 of the screen on the right that makes anything over there impossible to see. If not, what would be the best programming language to go about making my own program?     When you attach a file to an e-mail using the ACTION_SEND intent (with the extra EXTRA_STREAM) does the e-mail app copy that attached file to its own location? My app creates a file and attaches it to an email, but this can happen many times and I would like to be able to delete this file when it is no longer needed (so it doesn't flood the user's storage with junk data). Is the file safe to delete after the e-mail intent has started?

  • Using Entity Framework (code first) migrations in production

    I'm just looking into using EF migrations for our project, and in particular for performing schema changes in production between releases. I can see that generating SQL (delta) script files is an option, but is there no way of running the migrations programmatically on app start up? Will I instead need to add each delta script to the solution and write my own framework to apply them in order (from the current version to the latest) on bootstrap?

    Can someone give me an essential Wordpress Loop and explain to me what's happening with it? I'd like to put together some templates, but I don't do well with blackboxing.     Hello all! I wrote an app for the iPad, but I don't currently own an iPad. I would like to save my project as an .ipa file (assuming it's .ipa for the iPad, like the iPhone) so I could send it to a friend with a Jailbroken iPad to test it on an actual device before I release it to the App Store.   • Piwik Web Analytics - Anyone with experience of it?

    I'm considering trying to get more granular analytics for my sites than the free plan on my current provider, Clicky, provides. Piwik looks like a strong contender in the analytics space (and I'm surprised I haven't heard about it before) but I want to be sure I'm not throwing the baby out with the bathwater by swapping to it. Does anyone have any experience with this software and - in particular - are there any people out there who've tried customising the code or developing their own plugin?
