• SeFocus causing Run time error

  I am getting: Run-time error '5': Invalid procedure call or argument this seems to happen when Text(1).SetFocus is called. However, I dont see this run time error for all the cases where I have used SetFocus. Just 2-3 places it is causing this error. Text(1).SelStart = 3 Text(1).SelLength = 1 Text(1).SetFocus I tried: Text(1).Enabled = True Text(1).Visible = True just above .SelStart, but it didn't fix the issue.

Now the question, is it possible to build the query from a text the user has entered at runtime? Like var q = QueryFromText("from a in data where a.X > 20 select new {a.Y, a.Z}"); The point being, that the user (having programming skills) can dynamically and freely select the displayed data.

I open my app. I tap one of my items in table view, then DetailViewController that has only text field does not display anything it is empty. But when I go back to table view then tap any other item again , at this time it displays value what I wanted to display.. It does it for my only first tap.. I have no errors and warnings.. What am i missing?

  I'm writing a program that uses the textbox in visual C# to read a log file. When dealing with very large amounts of text, writing to the textbox is incredibly slow. The textbox also lacks many features. Are there any custom textbox controls that are faster, or even a sort of embedded editor (with ability to highlight certain words, indent, input bookmarks)? Many of the features I want are programmable, but it would be nice if there was a faster textbox or one that already had these features :) Thanks.

  Hi! I'm doing a conversion between two software which both use XML so the actual conversion part is fairly straightforward - adding text here, removing others here, converting a few information. I'm using VBSCript WSH. The only issue I'm still having is the darn &#13; character - that's my problem! I've tried both strText = Replace(strText, "&#13;", "") and using a regex with Regex.pattern = "&#13;" ... neither works. I also tried replacing char(13), VBCR... nothing seems to detect the actual string itself and not the character it's creating. Can anyone help me?

  Hi I have a grouped table with two sections where I display text with different length and therefore cell height. I have solved the problem with the different length/height with constrainedToSize in cellForRowAtIndexPath. Now I want to add a section with one single row in which I want to show a picture. How should I best implement that? (still a bit of a beginner with the Objective C) I would guess that I would have to create an UIImageView and somehow link that to the cell, but my biggest concern is how do I do with the dequeueReusableCellWithIdentifier now that I will have two different type of cells? Appreciate any advice that will help me save time from trial and error!

• Excel 2013: VLookup for cells that share common characters within cell but are both surrounded by other non-matching text

  I am pulling information from 2 different databases. The databases use different naming protocol for the exact same item/specified placement however they always have certain components of the name in common. The length of these names can vary throughout each of the databases (see the pic below) so I don't think counting characters would help. I need a formula (probably a vlookup/match/index of some sort) to pair up the names from the 2nd database name with the 1st database name and then place it in the adjacent column(B2) on sheet1. Until this point I've had to match, copy, and paste the pairs manually from one sheet to the other and it takes FOREVER. Any help would be much appreciated!!! For example: Database1 Name in Sheet1,A2: 728x90_Allstate_629930_ALL_JUL_2013_MASSACHUSETTSAUTO_BAN_MSN_ROSMSNAUTOSMASSACHUSETTS_7.2.13 Database2 Name in Sheet2, A13: BAN_MSN_ROSMSNAUTOSMASSACHUSETTS728X90_728X90_DFA Common Factors: "ROSMSNAUTOSMASSACHUSETTS" & "728X90" Therefore A2 and A13 need to pair up In some cases, Database 1 and 2 will have a common name aspect but sizing will be different. They need to have BOTH aspects in common in order to be paired so I would NOT want the below example to pair up. Database1 Name in Sheet1,A2: 728x90_Allstate_629930_ALL_JUL_2013_MASSACHUSETTSAUTO_BAN_MSN_ROSMSNAUTOSMASSACHUSETTS_7.2.13 Database2 Name in Sheet2, A12: BAN_MSN_ROSMSNAUTOSMASSACHUSETTS300X250_300X250_DFA Common Factor: Only "ROSMSNAUTOSMASSACHUSETTS" matches.   I'd like to make a regex in Perl that will test a string for a characters in a particular string. This would be something like: $text =~ .*P{'Chinese'}.* Is there a simple way of doing this, for English it's pretty easy by just testing for [a-zA-Z], but for a script like Chinese, or one of the Japanese scripts, I can't figure out any way of doing this short of writing out every character explicitly, which would make for some very ugly code. Ideas? I can't be the first/only person that's wanted to do this.

The way I am doing it now is by loading html files in a web view. What I would like to be able to do is have one view set up and just be able to add the text portion of what I would be displaying with the html file. What would be the best method. I know this is probably a pretty simple thing to do with a sting or array but I am at the very beginner level and would need to be pointed in the right direction to do it.

• Is it a good idea to include a large text variable in compiled code?

  I am writing a program that produces a formatted file for the user, but it's not only producing the formatted file, it does more. I want to distribute a single binary to the end user and when the user runs the program, it will generate the xml file for the user with appropriate data. In order to achieve this, I want to give the file contents to a char array variable that is compiled in code. When the user runs the program, I will write out the char file to generate an xml file for the user. char* buffers = "a xml format file contents, \ this represent many block text \ from a file,..."; I have two questions. Q1. Do you have any other ideas for how to compile my file contents into binary, i.e, distribute as one binary file. Q2. Is this even a good idea as I described above?
