What can be wrong with the code? EDIT1: The webpage contains: <div id="lesson"> <a href="/subj1">Subject 1</a> ... </div> On click, a browser (i.e. Firefox and Opera) should make an ajax-request of /ajax/subj1.

  • How can I send an array of strings from one ASP.NET page to another?

    Hello. I now have two asp.net pages. When I click on a link on page A, I open the other one (let's call it page B). When I do this, I want to send some information from Page A to Page B in the form of an array of strings. This array is different depending on what link I follow on Page A. I know I could send this information via the URL with the ?string1=bla1&string2=bla2 etc., but I don't want it that way, as it can get complicated if there are too many strings in the array. I think there is something similar, like a POST in PHP, but how would that be in ASP? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Cheers!

  • Faster code with another compiler

    I'm using the standard gcc compiler in math software development with C-language. I don't know that much about compilers or compiler options, and I was just wondering, is it possible to make faster executables using another compiler or choosing better options? The default Makefile sets options -ffast-math and -O3 and I think both of them have some impact in the overall calculation time. My software is using memory quite extensively, so I imagine some options related to memory management might do the trick? Any ideas?

Open up Table.xib and drag a TableView on top of the view. Now link the dataSource and delegate outlets of the TableView to the Table.xib File's Owner. 5.     Using the Visual Studio Nov 2012 CTP, which supports variadic templates (among other things). The following code: template<int, typename... Args> void myfunc(Args... args) { } template<> void myfunc<1, float>(float) { } produces the following errors: error C2785: 'void myfunc(Args...)' and 'void myfunc(float)' have different return types error C2912: explicit specialization 'void myfunc(float)' is not a specialization of a function template (yeah, the first one is pretty funny) So my questions are: 1) Am I writing legal C++11 here? 2) If yes, is there a way to find out if this is a known bug in MSVC before submitting it?

  • Reduce text length to fit cell width in a smart manner

    Hello, I am in project where we are building a simple web calendar using Java EE technologies. We define a table where every row is an employee, and every column represents an hour interval. The table width and column widths are adjustable. In every cell we have a text retrieved from a database, indicating what the employee is doing / should do in that time interval. The problem is that sometimes the text in cells is getting bigger than the actual cell. My task is to make the text more "readable" by reducing it's length in a "smart way" so that it can fit in the cell more "gracefully". For example if initially in a cell I have: "Writing documents", after the resize I should retrieve: "Wrtng. dcmnts" or "Writ. docum." so that the text can fit well. Is there a smart way to do it ? Or removing vocals / split the string in two is enough ?

  • How do I get a list of all languages that my Windows Forms application has been localized to?

    I have localized localized a Form into two language by setting the Localizable property to True and setting the Language from (Default) to (Dutch(Netherlands)), and I changed the control texts. Visual Studio generated the resource files and compiles them into the application. I need to get a simple list of all the languages that my form has been localized into. Currently it would be just two English and Dutch, but more may come. I need to programatically get a list of "what languages my application is localized into". Do I look into the resource files or use ResourceManager or what? Thanks!

    Hi, As part of our application we are using apache's xerces jaxp parser. When we deploy the application on weblogic9.2, we are getting the following error. org.springframework.beans.factory.BeanCreationException: Error creating bean with name 'org.apache.cxf.wsdl.WSDLManager' defined in class path resource [META-INF/cxf/cxf.xml]: Instantiation of bean failed; nested exception is org.springframework.beans.BeanInstantiationException: Could not instantiate bean class [org.apache.cxf.wsdl11.WSDLManagerImpl]: Constructor threw exception; nested exception is java.lang.ClassCastException: org.apache.xerces.jaxp.DocumentBuilderFactoryImpl As per our analysis, i)The weblogic is trying to to load its own DocumentBuilderFactoryImpl which is present in weblogic.jar instead of apache's xerces. We tried the following to force the weblogic to load DocumentBuilderFactoryImpl from xerces i)we have added the following tag into weblogic.xml true ii)we have put latest versions of xalan in jre/lib/endorced folder. this didnt resolve our problem. ii) we have added entries in weblogic-application.xml webapp.encoding.default UTF-8 javax.jws. org.apache.xerces. org.apache.xerces.jaxp.* ii)Added the following entry in weblogic-application.xml <parser-factory> <saxparser-factory>org.apache.xerces.jaxp.SAXParserFactoryImpl</saxparser-factory> <document-builder-factory>org.apache.xerces.jaxp.DocumentBuilderFactoryImpl </document-builder-factory> org.apache.xalan.processor.TransformerFactoryImpl iii)Added jaxp.properties to load DocumentBuilderFactoryImpl from xerces to the jre/lib and started the server.In this case, the weblogic didnt start. iv)Then we started the server first and then copied the jaxp.properties file during the run time when server starts.But no success None of the above worked for us. We are programmers, and our primary tool is the programming language we use.   • Problem with logicalOR ( regex ) not greedy

    This is the part of a string "21xy5". I want to insert " * " surrounded with whitespace between: digit and letter, letter and digit, letter and letter. I use this regex pattern "\d[a-z]|[a-z]\d|[a-z][a-z]" to find indexs where I gona insert string " * ". Problem is that when regex OR(|) in string 21xy5 trays to match 21-x|x-y|y-5, when first condition 21-x success, second x-y is not checked, and third success. So I have 21 * xy * 5 instead 21 * x * y * 5. If input string is like this xy21, then x-y success and then I have x * y21. Problem is that logical OR is not greedy.     This is the input string 23x * y34x2. I want to insert " * " (star surrounded by whitespaces) after every number followed by letter, and after every letter followed by number. So my input string would look like this: 23 * x * y * 34 * x * 2. This is the regex that does the job: @"\d(?=[a-z])|a-z". This is the function that I wrote that inserts the " * ". Regex reg = new Regex(@"\d(?=[a-z])|[a-z](?=\d)"); MatchCollection matchC; matchC = reg.Matches(input); int ii = 1; foreach (Match element in matchC)//foreach match I will find the index of that match { input = input.Insert(element.Index + ii, " * ");//since I' am inserting " * " ( 3 characters ) ii += 3; //I must increment index by 3 } return input; //return modified input My question how to do same job using .net MatchEvaluator? (Though, I understand in variant one, the copy constructor is not called and thus is slightly better than variant II). Also, for comparison, I made the following changes. BoundingBox Player::GetBoundingBox(void) { return BoundingBox( &GetBoundingSphere() ); } with Variants: I BoundingBox& l_Bbox = l_pPlayer->GetBoundingBox(); and II: BoundingBox l_Bbox = l_pPlayer->GetBoundingBox(); The objet l_Bbox still does not out scope. In my code sequence looks like this: circle.Scale(tmp_p.scaleX, tmp_p.scaleY); circle.Rotate(tmp_p.rotateAngle); My question is what other calculations should i perform for circle to rotate properly when scaleX and scaleY are not equal?
