  • Web-based IMAP client with support for multiple mailboxes

    I would like to switch from desktop-based e-mail software (Thunderbird) to a web-based solution that I run on my own web server. I have already tried out Roundcube and while it does work reasonably well so far there is one great feature from Thunderbird that seems to be missing - it doesn't allow me to have a unified mailbox for multiple IMAP accounts. Can anybody recommend a web-based IMAP client that has this feature?

    I have a plasma TV with USB input (can play divx and etc) but what I would like to do is use a software to turn a folder in my notebook HD (windows 7) into a USB Mass Storage device, so that I can connect the TV to the PC using a USB cable so that the TV recognize the PC folder as a flash drive / usb mass storage. is seems MAC has something like what I need: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1661 So there must be a similar to windows!

  • Is it possible to have non-replicated data on an LDAP consumer?

    I've read all the available documentation, the Mastering OpenLDAP book, and like a zillion mail-list posts but I haven't found a way to make such scenario possible. I see several use cases for this scenario like an enterprise application syncing all users from the main LDAP of the Org but keeping it's own application related schemas and objects in its server. So please, could you point me in the right direction or help me discard the possibility at all?

    I wonder if you can help me out... at the moment were using exim to relay our emails to an smtp_relay. The only problem is if the user exists and has an email address it won't exit the server and send them mail using our relay. I need it to go to the relay even if it's an internal email address.     When I execute sudo -u nagios /usr/lib64/nagios/plugins/check_by_ssh.sh hostname "check_haproxy -u \"http://localhost:10000/haproxy?stats\;csv\"" it runs perfectly on the server. For this, I have this in my HAProxy.cfg define service { use generic-service hostgroup_name pwmail-ee-oxweb service_description HAProxy-ee servicegroups ssh-dep check_command check_by_ssh!check_haproxy -u \"http://localhost:10000/haproxy?stats\;csv\" contacts sysad,mail-hosting-rt } It doesn't work. Says that Return code of 127 is out of bounds - plugin may be missing. What am I doing wrong?

    I'm calling shell scripts inside /etc/smrsh to process incoming emails as commands for my system. As I'm seeing all incoming emails are not making it to /var/mail/spool/USER. Is there any way I can access to the content of the emails ? some variable $1 $2 comming with the content values ? If not, how do I access to the content of the emails received ? thanks guys

    Hello everyone, I'd like to setup postfix as an MTA for 2 domains, about 10 users each. I'm a bit confused with the documentation. Postfix has so many options for mail delivery. I'd like to have a simple file where I would store all the email addresses (and possibly their corresponding mailboxes). I wouldn't like neither system's passswd file nor mysql to be used for storing email users. What parts of documentation I should be focused on?

    I am thinking of getting a 256MB server on XEN but not sure is it capable of handling this setup: Varnish + Nginx + Eaccelerator + PHP-FM + MySQL + Mail/FTP? I've tried this setup on OpenVZ and it was partly disastorous, especially with varnish in the equation, i've heard that XEN is better at memory management, sometimes shaving off 50mb or more in comparison to OpenVZ setups... if anyone has any helpful suggestions / input please let me know thanks

  • Cannot install boot camp 3.1 drivers on windows 7

    Hi all, I have a 64 bit windows 7 install (thru bootcamp) on my 17" macbook pro, with the bootcamp 3.0 drivers. Whenever i run the apple software update to install the 3.1 drivers, it downloads and installs them, then reboots, and when i've rebooted, it's still stuck on version 3.0 according to 'about boot camp' on the system tray icon. I've tried installing several times, it keeps happening. Any ideas? Thanks

    I'm having an issue where my Exchange Edge Transport server receives mail (found in logs) and then it vanishes, never ending up in the users mailbox, I have a edge subscription setup between it and the main Exchange server, how can I go about tracing the message to figure out what is broken? I also have found records of the message in the logs on the main Exchange server. Thanks a ton for any help Edit: If I change port 25 on my main router to point to the main exchange server as opposed to the Edge Transport, email comes through fine form external domains and delivered in the correct mailbox

But connections to another remote network it appears with a different origin. How to discover which name/ip it is using? I tried tcpdump and netstat in the destination but it is difficult to find my connection among billions of others. In my case the destination is a Windows Server 2003

    I'm looking for a good way to benchmark the performance of Ubuntu machines (preferably from the command line - only care about harddrive speed, memory, and cpu - not graphics). Are there any programs that could also be used on Mac or Windows so I could compare the results against an Apple or PC Desktop? Ultimately I'd like to use these benchmarks to compare different virtual machine configurations (speeds on different hosts and different hardware to get practical idea of the differences between different setups a rigs).     Once a user downloads a video created with the iPhone 3GS and then deletes it from the iPhone, that video cannot be uploaded back to the iPhone...according to Apple. The videos are not treated as Photos and are not allowed to sync to and from the iPhone freely. Has anyone discovered a program or tweek that allows one to upload video to the iPhone? Thanks.

    For monitoring purposes I would like to add the IP address to the Postfix smtpd_banner: smtpd_banner = $myhostname ESMTP $smtp_bind_address which works and outputs: 220 mail.mydomain.com ESMTP 123.456.789.0 Now I am wondering if there are any (negative) repercussions to expect. I couldn't find anything about it in the RFC docs. The Postfix docs add another parameter ($mail_name) in their example, so I think I am fine. I just want to verify that my syntax is correct and is allowed.
