A lényeg az volt, hogy az üzlet legjobb kiszolgálása érdekében célszeru a felhasználók és az alkalmazás oldaláról megközelíteni a kérdést. Azaz monitorozzuk a felhasználók elégedettségét, majd ha valami nem stimmel fúrjunk le alsóbb rétegekbe (MW, DB, OS, HW, Storage, Network), és ott folytassuk a diagnosztikát. Meglepetésemre az eloadást követoen a DB szakosztály vezetoje úgy kommentálta az eloadást, hogy ez még utópisztikus. Ma délután egy a hallgatók között ülo üzemeltetési igazgató e-mail-ben jelezte, hogy ezzel o sem ért egyet, mert ok már most is így üzemeltetnek, még ha nem is minden elemében a Grid Control-t használják. • Keyboard Function Keys Do Not Work

  I use the Microsoft Natural MultiMedia Keyboard 1.0A. The keyboard is not a wireless board. The Escape button and the function keys have never worked. I am currently running on 10.10. On previous incarnations the keys never worked either. However a recent journey through all the Microsoft options in System Preference Keyboard Layouts suggested that the Escape button could be functional. The current setting is Generic 105-key (Intl) PC. Can I find out whether the keys can be made to work or not? Of the top buttons, nothing happens when I press My Documents; a small red cross appears at the top right of the screen when I press My Pictures and the Media, Mail and Web/Home buttons work just fine. • Version control and project management for freelancing jobs

  Are there version control and project management tools which "work well" with freelancing jobs, if I want to keep my customer involved in the project at all times? What concerns me is that repository hosting providers have their fees based on the "number of users", which I feel is the number which will constantly increase as I finish one project after another. For each project, for example, I would have to add permissions to my contractor to allow him to pull the source code and collaborate. So how does that work in practice? Do I "remove" the contractor from the project once it's done? This means I basically state that I offer no support and bugfixes anymore. Or do freelances end up paying more and more money for these services? Do you use such online services, or you host them by yourself? Or do you simply send your code to your customer by e-mail in weekly iterations?

• Can't get wireless on macbook pro 8,2

  I'm a linux Newb, and I have tried several of the fixes listed to try and get my wifi drivers to work, but to no avail. Does anyone here know why this isn't working for me, or better yet, how to fix it?   Before publishing promotional material of my first indie game I wanted to mark all my artwork with a legally valid timestamp. There are two ways I know to do this: 1 go to a sollecitor/lawyer and pay for them to certify the document 2 use an online webservice to mark any given file/folder readable to the service Anyone has already done this and if yes how (e.g. which website have you used? which type of solecitor have you contacted? etc..)? • cannot play VTC video file (.mov) using VLC player

  I have a training course contains .mov files which have video codec as apple graphics smc. I have googled and found out to add these options to play them link from where I got help But they are playing fine only in SMplayer. I want to configure similarly and play those files in VLC player. This is the error which I'm facing Running vlc with the default interface. Use 'cvlc' to use vlc without interface. • Installing Ubuntu 14.04 on macbook pro EFI

  Macbook pro: mavericks, 5.2, graphics: nvidia geforce 9600M I followed the guides from here: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UEFIBooting#Detect_.28U.29EFI_firmware_processor_architecture and http://www.rodsbooks.com/ubuntu-efi/. What I have is the following: /dev/sda apple partitions /boot / (root) swap When installing ubuntu, I did not install the boot loader during installation but did so in a chroot environment after installing grub-efi. I installed grub to /dev/sda1 (efi) which created the grub64.efi file in efi/ubuntu. This allows the refined boot manager to bring up grub and select ubuntu however, the graphics does not work. Even after adding nomodeset and removing quiet/splash from the kernel parameters. Any ideas on what could be wrong? To be clear, if I remove quiet/splash, I can see all the text startup messages being printed out however, the display manager doesn't appear to start (the screen stays black). Oddly enough though, the ubuntu startup sound can be heard.

  Firefox has released its latest version 3.6.4 as beta. User who has already installed Firefox 3.6.4  can use the update check option in the browser will recognize to download it automatically,so that the browser can be updated. You can also download the latest beta version from the direct link (Firefox 3..6.4) of Mozilla website with the option to select the language and operating system version. As the per the release note from Mozilla this build works on the out of process plug-in module for Adobe Flash, Apple QuickTime or Microsoft Silver light plug-in, so that If a plug-in crashes or freezes, it will not affect the rest of Firefox. You will be able to reload the page to restart the plug-in and try again. The release note also states that many of the security issues and and total of 194 issues from the BugZilla list is fixed.   In Ubuntu 11.04 Server when I would log in via ssh it would tell me how many packages are available for updating in the welcome message. After upgrading to 11.10 I no longer get that information. • Using your own gameloop logic on iphone?

  I'm currently working on moving some android-ndk code to the iphone and have hit a wall. I'm new to iphone development, and from looking at some samples it seems that the main loop is handled for you and all you've got to do is override the render method on the view to handle the rendering and add a selector to handle the update methods. The render method itself lookslike it's attached to the windows refresh. But in android I've got my own game loop that controls the rendering and updates using c++ time.h. is it possible to implement the same here bypassing apple's loop? I'd really like the keep the structures of the code similar. Thanks!

  If you’re looking for a way to quickly find large email attachments in your Gmail account, this undocumented search operator makes it simple to zero in on the hulking attachments hiding out in your inbox. To use the search operator simply plug in “size:” and some value to narrow your search to only emails that size or larger. In the screenshot above we searched for “size:20000000″ to search for files roughly 20MB or larger (if you want to be extremely precise, a true 20MB search would be “size:20971520″).   Possible Duplicate: How closely can a game resemble another game without legal problems So suppose I'm currently developing a variant of a snakes game for the iPhone, and you decided to call it "snakes". First, in general, how would you find out if a name's been copyrighted or not? It's probably safe with "snakes" because it's such a common word, and that there's been so many games around (please correct me if I'm wrong), but with some people copyrighting the name "edge", it would be best to be a bit careful. Second, suppose I decided to go with some name that is guaranteed to be different (e.g EL SERPENTES DE LOS REYES), would gameplay be a point of contention on copyright issues? For example, the tetris game is sort of "copyrighted" at the apple app store, and there was a crackdown on anyone using the word "tris" or anything related to it. However, if there was a game with the gameplay of tetris (or loosely very similar), with the name "BLOXODEREX", can it be liable to copyright/DMCA issues?
