    I have an SSL cert with its own unique IP address on a 2008 R2 server. I have created a basic website using IIS Manager, with a file called “Hello.html” in the root. When trying to add an https binding I receive the following error after choosing my certificate: This binding is already being used by a product other than IIS. If you continue you might overwrite the existing certificate for this IP Address:Port combnation. Do you want to use this binding anyway?" I click Yes to this prompt and the binding is created. When I try to retrieve my file using the server’s own browser, the request times out. I have another server which has a shared configuration with this one, and it works fine. Does anyone have any suggestions how to find out which application may be using this binding other than IIS, and how to resolve?

The instructions I followed to do this are : Now, I am trying to get the domain's mail handled by Google Apps for Business. I have tried updating the MX records at Linode following this tutorial : http://library.linode.com/email/google-mail And also followed the instructions to update the MX Records in 123-reg's control panel : I am slightly confused now. Where should I be adding the MX records? In my domain registrar's control panel or in Linode's VPS? Both have options to update the MX records.

    Lately I've noticed that my Firefox Browser was taking a long time when I would search Google, e.g. 3 seconds before I would see any results. If I search for a three-word phrase, it just hangs trying to connect: I removed all add-ons but it still does this. I thought it might be something with my router, but Chrome, Safari, Opera and Internet Explorer all work fine. Bing works fine in Firefox. Here's my Firefox version information: Otherwise I can still use Firefox, e.g. I'm using it to post this question, but I do notice that when I browse with it, images are often "broken" for a split second before they appear, as if it is having a hard time pulling them from a remote server. Other browsers don't do this. What could be causing Firefox to hang when searching Google?

  • How to cope with runaway Flash plugin in Google Chrome browser?

    I'm using Google Chrome for Linux, version 5.0.307.11 (Official Build 39572) beta with the Linux Flash plugin version 10.0 r32. Quite often, the Flash plugin goes wild and pegs the CPU with about 95% usage. Laptop gets hot, battery drains. I can diagnose the problem with Chrome's little process monitor (shift-Esc), and I can even kill the plugin, but then when I actually want to use Flash on a page, I can't find a way to restart the plugin; I have to exit and restart Chrome, which with 30 tabs open is a huge hit. Does anyone know what causes this problem? Does anyone have a better workaround (or heaven forfend, a fix)? [I struct out both with search and with Google's help site for Chrome.]

    I'm using ADExplorer 1.42 from Microsoft. I'm not very versed at this program so please kindly help me out with a search-related problem. Right click on a node(e.g., CN=NlscanStaff) and select Search Container... , with default search attributes, I can see all objects inside NlscanStaff listed as result. Note that there is a CN=CHJTEST object listed. Now, my question is, how to search for CHJTEST specifically? I tried search condition: Attribute : distinguishedName Relation : contains Value : CN=CHJTEST Click Add , then Search . But no result. Can someone tell me what's going wrong? Thanks.

  • What would cause Google Music Manager to report different amounts of music between iTunes and My Music?

    If I set Google Music Manager to scan iTunes, it reports that there are 3997 songs (which is also indicated if I were to open iTunes and look at my collection). However, if set Google Music Manager to scan My Music folder, it detects 3999 songs. I even deleted all of my songs from iTunes and reimported my My Music folder. iTunes is still reporting 3997 songs. Is there an easy way to find out what is causing the difference between the two counts? I could probably add all of my songs to a playlist, export the playlist into a text or XML file using iTunes, and compare that list against everything in My Music folder to see if iTunes is missing music. However, I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on this before I did that...

    I'm trying to automate the installation of an MSI on my server, however before the installation can go ahead I need to uninstall the previous version from the server. Searching on the internet I've found that WMIC is the tool required but there seems to be a problem with the setup of WMI on the server. Running the following command gives errors: command promptwmic then inside the tool /trace:on product get name This returns a long string of successes and one failure: FAIL: IEnumWbemClassObject->Next(WBEM_INFINITE, 1, -, -) Line: 396 File: d:\nt\admin\wmi\wbem\tools\wmic\execengine.cpp Node - ENTECHORELDEV ERROR: Code = 0x80041010 Description = The specified class is not valid.     Looking for a mostly-GUI tool that is low cost (less then $1k, but not required) and allows you to create scheduled tasks and jobs without writing vbscript, batch files, or powershell. Something simple that speaks SMB/CIFS, SMTP, LDAP, etc. for such things as "delete some files based on a list of folders from this text file" or "disable all users with expired accounts" or "delete all disabled users not in this AD group". I've seen some of the big multi-OS enterprise task automation systems and they just look way overkill. We're a windows-only shop, Server 2003 or newer and there's got to be a simple non-agent based product that is drag-n-drop for some of this basic automation. Today we use all three languages mentioned above, and the scripts are not as reliable as a workflow-based-tool would be. Thanks.
