Hi!
I need to install an ISAPI extension on IIS 5.1 using command line. On windows server 2003 there is a script iisext.vbs but on windows xp it's not present.
related Questions didn't help !
i have a problem loading php_curl.dll under following circumstances:
XAMPP for windows 1.7.2
Apache 2.2.12
PHP 5.3.0
mod_ssl enabled in http.conf
php_curl.dll enabled in php/ext
copied ssleay32.dll and libeay32.dll in system32
checked the extension by php: if (extension_loaded('curl'))- FALSE !
and all i got in apache errors.log is:
[Sat May 22 15:13:20 2010] [error] an unknown filter was not added: DEFLATE
can you tell me what do i have to do ??!?!?!?
I'm looking for a way to find what I know will be a unique file, and then change into the directory containing that file. Something along the lines of:
find . -name 'Subscription.java' | xargs cd
Or:
find . -name 'Subscription.java' -exec cd {} \;
I know this won't work because it's both trying to cd supplying the entire absolute path, which contains the file, and also because xargs can't do any built in shell commands...but you get the point of what I want to accomplish.
Hi folks!
I read the german article about "Make" on Wikipedia and found the following 2 lines:
.c.o:
$(CC) $(CFLAGS) -c -o $@ $<
Why is the dependency expression left out and why does the target use a double file extension?
Hi all
I am new to Php and working on a project which needs to generate sitemaps from URLS which stored in MySQL database. how can I do this?? Is there any one have any idea??

The way you would normally include a script in bash is source. For example:
main
#!/bin/bash
source incl.bash
echo "The main script"
incl.bash
echo "The included script"
The output of executing ./main:
The included script
The main script
Now, if you attempt to execute that shell script from another location, it can't find the include unless it's in your PATH.
What's a good way to ensure that your script can find the included script, especially if for instance, the script needs to be portable?
Does anyone have any clue why this doesn't work as expected.
If i use the python shell and do
team.game_set
or
team.games
It returns an error
AttributeError: 'Team' object has no attribute 'game'
If i create a Game object and call
game.home_team
it returns the correct team object
Heres my model
class Team(models.Model):
name = models.CharField(blank=True, max_length=100)
class Game(models.Model):
home_team = models.ForeignKey(Team, related_name="home_team")
I have a Windows app called via Shell from MS Word that reads and writes to Sqlite. I'm porting it to Mac. On windows I have a batch file:
SQLite3.exe pathtodb\databasename <sqlitecommands.txt
This batch calls the Sqlite command line program, attachs the database, and reads the command from sqlitecommands.txt. The sqlitecommands is dynamically modified(by Word VBA) to read (Select) Write (Update) to/from the database.
What is the format of an applescript to do the same thing in Mac OSX?
I am trying to make an interactive shell script in perl.
The only user input I can find is the following:
$name = <STDIN>;
print STDOUT "Hello $name\n";
But in this the user must always press enter for the changes to take effect.
How can I get the program to proceed immediately after a button has been pressed?
I am uploading files to my shell account using scp. As I need different permissions on the server than on my computer, I'd like to have a way to easily change the permissions upon upload without needing to ssh to the account and change them manually.
I'm working with a shell account in a shared system and I would like to use some version control software for my bash scripts and config files.
It must works on Linux with no dependencies, just unpack it in my home dir. I don't need remote checkout, branching or other fancy tricks. I want to be able to commit my changes and restore them if needed.
I'm looking to see if I can design a HtmlHelper extension method that will generate the Html for different types of widgets I want to produce.
Each different type of widget implements functionality to get and prepare any data it needs to render.
Can anyone suggest any patterns I could refer to for approaches to take? I know there are probably frameworks available that will do this for me, but I thought I'd give it a try anyway. Any points of advice?
Thanks
I have a large class, which I have divided into several different class extension files for readability.
@protocol MyProtocol
@required
-(void)required;
@end
@interface MyClass : NSObject <MyProtocol>
@end
@interface MyClass (RequiredExtension)
-(void)required;
@end
Is there a better way to do this, without the compiler warning?
warning: class 'MyClass' does not fully implement the 'MyProtocol' protocol
Let's say I have composite hierarchical structure. Each object in the structure has child collection of the same objects. Each object has XPath property, which stores the exact xpath to the element inside XML file. Right now I am trying to create an extension, which can generate XML string from that hierarchical structure, but first I want to make some sort of research what is the most efficient way to do that? ant what is the easiest way?
I've got a variable, let's say $x and it holds the value of website.com. I want to be able to call the variable and apply shell color to it like so:
echo -e '\033[1;32m$x:\033[0m';
The problem is not the color, however, it's how the script it interpretting the output. So the output I'm getting is:
$x:
I need the output to obviously be the string in the variable, and not the variable name. Is there any way around this issue?
When I run python manage.py shell I get an error about the last app I've added to INSTALLED_APP, namely django_evolution, saying it's an undefined module. This is despite the fact that I've added the path to django_evolution to the system path. In fact right after this error I can run python and do an import on django_evolution and everything is fine. Why isn't django or python seeing this module when clearly it's been setup and even added to the path?
Hi,
I wrote an application which will be able to open files of particular extension and show it to users. Now I want the users to be able to just double click the file and have it open with my application. I tried to set the "Always use the selected program..." option in the windows "Open With" dialog box, but do not know how to receive the file name that Windows sends to my application. How to do this?
Thanks...
Hi,
I have received the following video file from a camera (from security camera)
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1369478/tmw/recording.264
How can i view the content? Based on extension i think that is a H264 file. Is there a way to play this on the browser with HTML5?

I need to test if my 304 responses are working, but my development environment is pretty hard set on force no-cache.
Is there an easy way to modify the max-age value of the cache-control header before it goes out?
I'm perhaps a bit optimistic in hoping chrome (or an extension, or FF) has a console command letting me alter the if-modified-since header then send the request. Maybe paste something into a telnet connection?
My .htaccess file is as follows:
Options -Multiviews
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^example.com
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.example.com/$1 [R=301,L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ $1.php
It works, but I'm wondering how it works. For example, if I type in example.com/main, I get the file at www.example.com/main.php. How do I get the .php extension if the code tells the rewriting to stop after adding the www. to the beginning of example.com?
Hi:
Is there any alternative to non-ISO gcc specific extension __attribute__ on 64-bit kernels ?
Three types that i've noticed are: function attributes, type attributes and variable attributes.
eg.
i'd like to avoid using __attribute__((__packed__)) for structures passed over the network, even though some gcc based code do use it.
Any suggestions or pointers on how to entirely avoid __attribute__ usage in C systems/kernel code ?
thanks
Saifi.
How do I get the last non-empty line using tail under Bash shell?
For example, my_file.txt looks like this:
hello
hola
bonjour
(empty line)
(empty line)
Obviously, if I do tail -n 1 my_file.txt I will get an empty line. In my case I want to get bonjour. How do I do that?
The greenlet package is used by gevent and eventlet for asynchronous IO. It is written as a C-extension and therefore doesn't work with Jython or IronPython. If performance is of no concern, what is the easiest approach to implementing the greenlet API in pure Python.
A simple example:
def test1():
print 12
gr2.switch()
print 34
def test2():
print 56
gr1.switch()
print 78
gr1 = greenlet(test1)
gr2 = greenlet(test2)
gr1.switch()
Should print 12, 56, 34 (and not 78).
