  • LaTeX, Two columns, Listings and Numbers

    Hi, I'm trying to get a report done and I have a small problem with the twocolums and the line numbering in listings. The text is on two columns, the listings can be on the two columns as well. If I put the number=left, the space between the columns is not sufficient and the text from the first column is written over. Is there any way to ask the listings to put the line numbers "outside" ?     Hi I am using two different databases for my project. Oracle and apache derby and trying to use as much as possible ansi sql syntax supported by both of the databases. I have a table with column amount_paid NUMERIC(26,2), in a table. My old code which was using oracle db need to retrieve value in this format SELECT LTRIM(TO_CHAR(amount_paid,'9,999,999,999,999.99')) . How can i do this using ANSI sql syntax.

Now First I am finding the rows in that table like var rows = table.Descendants("tr"); then I find the cell data for each row like foreach(var row in rows) { string rowInnerText = row.InnerText; } That gives me the cell data.But with no spaces between them like NameAdressPhone No but I want the innertext like Name Address Phone No means where there is td tag I want to keep there one space between different column cell.

    I need a way to store an int for N columns. Basically what I have is this: Armies: ArmyID - UINT UnitCount1 - UINT UnitCount2 - UINT UnitCount3 - UINT UnitCount4 - UINT ... I can't possible add a column for each and every unit, so I need a fast way to store the number of each units in an army (you might have guesses it's for a game by now). Using XML is not an option as it will be dead slow.

    I'm trying to rename the columns. The syntax should be the column name between double quotes incase of two words, like this: SELECT p_Name "Product Name" from items So I'm trying to do it in C# code like this: string sqlqry1 = "SELECT p_Name \"Prodcut Name\" from items"; But I get an error: Syntax error (missing operator) in query expression 'p_Name "Prodcut Name"'. It seems am having somthing wrong with the quotes, but I can't figure out.

    I have a SQL table (MYSQL 4.0 to be precise) composed of the following : int no (primary) int field1 int field2 I would like to swap the values of field1 with the values of field2 and vice-versa. Ex.: 1;2.5;3.76 becomes 1;3.76;2.5 I need a swapping temporary variable of some sort. But I don't think I can use something like Set @var1 = field1 inside my update statement. And I don't think altering the table to add a temporary column is my best best either.
