    I have the wisdom to learn assembly language,so I search through the internet for the information about this language,and came across some page telling that assembly is a low level native language and varied from one to another processor,so I just wonder,I'm currently running an intel based processor,I've no idea whether it is x86 or what,but I just wanna know,Does it possible for me to learn other processor arhchitecture assembly on my pc??Besides,is there any good books that could guide me through learning the intel architecture assembly.

  • Classic assembly language texts not using x86?

    I'm looking for texts that give detailed treatment of assembly programming principles and don't use x86 as the target architecture. I haven't found any recent books like that, but I would expect that there were some good ones written in the 1970s and 1980s, when whole applications were still written in assembly. The architecture used should also be one of the cleaner designs, such as the 6502 or VAX.

  • How do I resolve the error "Binding already being used by a product other than IIS"

    I have an SSL cert with its own unique IP address on a 2008 R2 server. I have created a basic website using IIS Manager, with a file called “Hello.html” in the root. When trying to add an https binding I receive the following error after choosing my certificate: This binding is already being used by a product other than IIS. If you continue you might overwrite the existing certificate for this IP Address:Port combnation. Do you want to use this binding anyway?" I click Yes to this prompt and the binding is created. When I try to retrieve my file using the server’s own browser, the request times out. I have another server which has a shared configuration with this one, and it works fine. Does anyone have any suggestions how to find out which application may be using this binding other than IIS, and how to resolve?

I've followed this article from steps URL: http://www.ideaexcursion.com/2009/01/05/connecting-to-oracle-from-sql-server/ plus added: TNS_ADMIN into the Server variables which point into: C:\Oracle\product\11.2.0\client_1\network\admin what is working now: TNSNAMES.ORA has been copied successfully from the other Developer wworkstation i can TNSPING into the DB instance i can connect to the database using SQLplus and perform any SQL commands i can create the DSN ONLY when using "[b]C:\Windows\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe[/b]" the normal odbcad32 doesn't show my DSN that I have just created ? the DSN created from the above works fine from the test connection. my goal: To be able to select the Oracle connection in the Linked server object but still no effect after I restart the server. (Windows Server 2008 Enterprise 64 bit SP2). Any idea please in resolving this problem would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    I'm trying to automate the installation of an MSI on my server, however before the installation can go ahead I need to uninstall the previous version from the server. Searching on the internet I've found that WMIC is the tool required but there seems to be a problem with the setup of WMI on the server.   • Product Recommendation: Good job scheduler for windows servers?

    Looking for a mostly-GUI tool that is low cost (less then $1k, but not required) and allows you to create scheduled tasks and jobs without writing vbscript, batch files, or powershell. Something simple that speaks SMB/CIFS, SMTP, LDAP, etc. for such things as "delete some files based on a list of folders from this text file" or "disable all users with expired accounts" or "delete all disabled users not in this AD group". I've seen some of the big multi-OS enterprise task automation systems and they just look way overkill. We're a windows-only shop, Server 2003 or newer and there's got to be a simple non-agent based product that is drag-n-drop for some of this basic automation. Today we use all three languages mentioned above, and the scripts are not as reliable as a workflow-based-tool would be. Thanks.

When I click on the newly installed "Desktop Manager", I get this error: --------------------------- DesktopMgr.exe - System Error --------------------------- The program can't start because product.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem. --------------------------- OK --------------------------- If I manually search for that file across my entire c:\ drive, it is not there.   • The Fantastic New WebLogic on Oracle Database Appliance 2.9 Release is Here!

    Last week was a big day in virtualised ODA-land as it saw the launch of WebLogic on ODA 2.9. Admittedly it doesn't sound like a very exciting release but it is one that we at O-box have been looking forward to for quite some time. Let me explain why, then we'll look into the details... The ODA X4-2 has 48 Intel Xeon cores. That is a lot of compute power. Whilst the largest O-box SOA Appliance single environment configuration can in theory use all those cores (currently with 40 vCPU of SOA!) the vast majority of O-box users will want smaller configurations. Prior to 2.9 the Oracle WebLogic implementation only supported one domain per ODA, so the conundrum O-box development faced last year was either: offer customers only one SOA environment on their O-box for now (but have the benefit of a standard, easily supportable WebLogic installation), or build our own WebLogic/OTD OVM templates from scratch. One of our driving goals with O-box is to give the best possible experience and make the appliance as supportable as possible. Therefore we took the gamble that we would stick with the Oracle's one-domain WebLogic configuration initially, and just hope that it would deliver multi-domain support for us in a timely manner (note: this is probably not a strategy that business textbooks would recommend!). Anyway, we've been working closely with Oracle Product Management for a few months now and I'm delighted to see 2.9 as the fruits of their labour. This also neatly ties in with several recent requests for O-box to include OSB as well as SOA/BPEL (which we have always wanted to have in separate domains).   • Encryption Product Keys : Public and Private key encryption

    I need to generate and validate product keys and have been thinking about using a public/private key system. I generate our product keys based on a client name (which could be a variable length string) a 6 digit serial number. It would be good if the product key would be of a manageable length (16 characters or so) I need to encrypt them at the base and then distrubute the decryption/validation system. As our system is written in managed code (.NET) we dont want to distribute the encryption system, only the decryption. I need a public private key seems a good way to do this, encrypt with the one key that i keep and distribute the other key needed for decrpytion/verification. What is an appropriate mechanism to do this with the above requirements?

In order to test the code I a) created a In App Purchase Test User account under 'Manage Users' in iTunes Connect b) created some in app purchase products under 'Manage Your In App Purchases'. I used numeric values and alpha-numeric values for the Product ID's. c) Loaded the app onto the iPhone, went to Settings-Store and logged out of the regular store and into the under a) created test account d) set a breakpoint in the (void)productsRequest:(SKProductsRequest *)request didReceiveResponse:(SKProductsResponse *)response callback All the submitted Product ID's are in the response.invalidProductIdentifiers category. When submitting the request I use either the Product ID's used under b) directly or I tried to prefix them with the Bundle ID: NSString *id2 = @"com.super.duper.8"; NSSet *productList = [NSSet setWithObjects:id2, @"8", nil]; SKProductsRequest *request= [[SKProductsRequest alloc] initWithProductIdentifiers:productList]; Am I missing something obvious?   • Offer the posibility to preview a personalized product

    I want to give my client's the possibility to preview their personalized product. In a nutshell, personalization means the user specifies some text and positions the text somewhere on an image of the product. A great example of what I'd like to achieve is this. Select a frame size and then hit Personalize, after you select the occasion and add the text you can chose to preview the product. The hardest thing to do here, as I see it, is to generate the image. The positioning of text will probably be made in javascript. Do you have any recommendations? Just as a note, using scene7 is not a possibility. Thanks.

  • Hibernate Schema Validation Fails on Oracle Table Synonyms

    I'm developing a Java web application that uses Hibernate (annotations-based) for persisting entities to an Oracle 11g database. The DBA created synonyms for the tables and requested that I use these synonyms instead of the physical tables. (Eg: Table "Foo" has synonym "S_Foo") If I have "hibernate.hbm2ddl.auto=validate" enabled, then the application fails on startup with "Missing Table: S_Foo". If I turn off the validation, then the app starts up fine and works properly. My guess is that Hibernate only checks against physical tables and not synonyms when validating that a table exists. Is there any way to enable Hibernate schema validation with synonyms? Can I specify both a physical table and a synonym in the annotation? I prefer having that extra safety check that the table structure is correct when the application starts up.

    I'm refactoring a colleague's code, and I have several cases where he's using a cursor to get "the latest row that matches some predicate": His technique is to write the join as a cursor, order it by the date field descending, open the cursor, get the first row, and close the cursor. This requires calling a cursor for each row of the result set that drives this, which is costly for many rows. I'd prefer to be able to join, but what something cheaper than a correlated subquery: select a.id_shared_by_several_rows, a.foo from audit_trail a where a.entry_date = (select max(a.entry_date) from audit_trail b where b.id_shared_by_several_rows = a.id_shared_by_several_rows ); I'm guessing that since this is a common need, there's an Oracle analytic function that does this?

How can I set the primary key of a table when the table is made up of an object type? e.g. CREATE TABLE object_names OF object_type I have created a Varray type, CREATE TYPE MULTI_TAG AS VARRAY(10) OF VARCHAR(10); but when I try to do SELECT p.tags.count FROM pg_photos p; I get an invalid identifier error on the "count" part. p.tags is a MULTI_TAG, how can I get the number of elements in the MULTI_TAG?
