  • PHP output of foreach loop into a new array.

    I know I'm probably missing something easy, but I have a foreach loop and I'm trying to modify the values of the first array, and output a new array with the modifications as the new values. Basically I'm starting with an array: 0 = A:B 1 = B:C 2 = C:D And I'm using explode() to strip out the :'s and second letters, so I want to be left with an array: 0 = A 1 = B 2 = C The explode() part of my function works fine, but I only seem to get single string outputs. A, B, and C.

  • Problems rendering pages in FF and IE

    I am having a constant trouble with pages not rendering correctly between FF and IE. not my code below. "Select an Account" should be next to the drop down such as: Select an Account Type: "then my form" however my form goes to the next line when I want it next to "Select an Account".     I have a List that has various derived classes. I may have something like this: List<BaseClass> list = new List<BaseClass>() { new Class1(), new Class2(1), new Class3(), new Class2(2), new Class4() }; I am trying to use LINQ to semi-sort the list so that the natural order is maintained EXCEPT for Class2. All Class2 instances should be grouped together at the place that the first Class2 occurs. Here is what the output should be like: List<BaseClass> list = new List<BaseClass>() { new Class1(), new Class2(1), new Class2(2), new Class3(), new Class4() }; I can't for the life of me figure out how to do this...

  • has_one update problem

    I have two models, User and Account. Each user may have one account. Creating an account for a user works fine. My problem is that when I try to update the account, the previous accounts user_id is nullified and a new account row is created with the user_id. I do not want this happening. I want to update the existing row with the changes to account. How do I do this? Thanks.

I know you can get the current list of configured networks getConfiguredNetworks But is it possible to get notification of when a new one is added? I dont see anything in the WifiManager that would be helpful. Has anyone any other ideas? Or insight into how this could be achieved?

  • How do I use File.new to find a file from Rails?

    I am trying to read a file that has been saved on the /system folder using Paperclip, for example. But when I use that .url method from Paperclip to read that file using File.new, I get that the file isn't found. The directory is correct, but I still can't access it. What is the right way to find a file for File.new for example? I tried to point to other files, as well, and to no avail.
