  • flex: move item around in a tree control

    Hi everybody, I have a tree control and I want to give the user the ability that he can move up and down the element he just selected with a up and a downbutton. The tree gets generated from XML. I managed to insert the selected item a second time at a other place, with the following code: var parentXML:XML = XML(containerTree.selectedItem).parent(); var upperItem:XML = topContainer.source[containerTree.selectedIndex-1]; parentXML.insertChildBefore(upperItem,XML(containerTree.selectedItem)); but then I have the item there twice in the List. How can I remove to reinsert it? Thanks for Hints! Markus

  • .NET Regular Expression to split multiple words or phrases

    I'm using the code below to take a string and split it up into an array. It will take: Disney Land and make it two separate elements. If the string contains "Disney Land" then it is one element in the array. Works great, however it adds some empty elements to the array each time. So I just iterate over the elements and remove them if they are empty. Is there a tweak to the code below that will prevent those empty elements from occurring?   • Why is IE7 hiding my overflow when, as far as I can tell, all it's containing elements have overflow

    If you visit the site in question (haddongrant.com) and go to the Artwork section, if you click on an image and view it's stack in Safari, Chrome or Firefox you'll notice the images extend up and down the page, eventually disappearing over the edge. This is what you should be seeing. In Internet Explorer 7, however, the overflow gets cut off at some point before it ever gets to the end of the page. The problem is... I can't tell where! I've had a look and every containing element should show overflow. I don't know why IE7 isn't. Does anyone have any ideas where I might need to add an overflow-y:visible;?

In xforms:binding, I want to set relevant attribute for showing/hiding the list. The list is bound to a drop-down. If status is Private I want to show the list, if status is Public I want to hide the list.   • How to get rid of the double scroll bar problem when using an iframe

    I've seen this problem on the web, and all the suggested solutions aren't working for me, so I thought I'd come here. I have a page that has an iframe. The top of the page is a dropdown menu, the rest of the page is the iframe. The idea like I'm sure everybody else does, is to have the menu stay stationary and the menu selection runs an application in the iframe. The contents of the iframe should scroll, but the page as a whole should not. I've tried putting the iframe width=height=100% inside a single table element also with width=height=100% but I get two scrollbars if I make the window too short vertically. Any suggestions?

    I need to be able to add some javascript to all ajax postback responses (PartialViewContext.isAjaxRequest == true) but I am not succeeding with any implementation I try. I have tried implementing a PhaseListener and adding my script using PartialResponseWriter.insert* to add eval blocks, as well as trying to add the script by creating a script element. (Results in CDATA cannot nest, or just invalid XML) I have tried decorating PartialViewContextFactory to override the PartialViewContext.processPartial and add the script after the wrapped instance has processed it... How should I go about adding sripts to an Ajax response? Something similar to what .NET has with Scriptmanager.registerClientScriptBlock preferably. Thank you

  • Internet Explorer generates extra br

    I have an issue where Internet Explorer is generating an additional br element that is not in my source. The additional br effects the page's layout and is visible when using the developer tool. I've tried removing all hard returns between the surrounding elements but the additional br persists. Firefox and Chrome do not have this issue. Ideas on what I can do to fix the issue? I am using IHtmlDocument2 to create tr and td elements and IHtmlElement to set attributes and IHtmlDomNode to add created node to the document hierarchy. Please anyone help me to solve the above problem. I am traversing through the document when I get the tr tag I have created the tr element using CreateElement, then I use InsertBefore to insert it into the document but it's not working. I've tried for one week but didn't get anything working.

  • Running Script before/after Variables declared?

    Hi folks. As i understand javascript .js files are best to put all the way at the bottom of html pages, to speed up loading of rest of page. Advised by Yslow(Yahoo) and Page Speed(google). Now, when in the middle of page some thing RUNS a javascript script, in Internet Explorer, i see a small warning message saying that the element is: Uncaught ReferenceError: SWFObject is not defined When i put my all.js file in the had, the error goes away but page load slows doen. What to do? Actually, i remember it was the same with php variables. If i RUN php but the variable comes later, then it just doesnt work. must define the variable first, for it to run. How to make this workflow better, in case of php scripts? and in case of javsscripts? Thanks!

    Well, I have a really small problem. How can I access an ASP.NET Drop down list from jquery? I tried to use "CssClass" property of the drop down list to assign a CSS class and then accessing that list using that class, but later I found out that the class changes when an element is selected, so my initial class replaced by a new class. I also cannot use the "ClientID" property because the part of code that access that list is not inside the page, but in a separate javascript file. So how can I access it ?

Is there any way to flatten this, so the JAR files appear top-level under WEB-INF/lib, regardless of the directories specified in the patterns? I looked at mapper but it seems you cannot use them inside lib.

  • Visual Studio 2010 failed tests throw exceptions

    In VisualStudio2010 Ultimate RC I cannot figure out how to suppress {"CollectionAssert.AreEqual failed. (Element at index 0 do not match.)"} from Microsoft.VisualStudio.TestTools.UnitTesting.AssertFailedException If i Ctrl+Alt+E I get the exception dialog; however that exception doesn't seem to be in there to be suppressed. Does anyone else have any experience with this? I don't remember having to suppress these Assert fails in studio 2008 when running unit tests. My tests would fail and I could just click on the TestResults to see which tests failed instead of fighting through these dialogs. For now I guess I'll just run my tests through the command window.

    I'm trying to create a sitemap using Linq to Xml, but am getting an empty namespace attribute, which I would like to get rid of. e.g. XNamespace ns = "http://www.sitemaps.org/schemas/sitemap/0.9"; XDocument xdoc = new XDocument(new XDeclaration("1.0", "utf-8", "true"), new XElement(ns + "urlset", new XElement("url", new XElement("loc", "http://www.example.com/page"), new XElement("lastmod", "2008-09-14")))); The result is ... <urlset xmlns="http://www.sitemaps.org/schemas/sitemap/0.9"> <url xmlns=""> <loc>http://www.example.com/page</loc> <lastmod>2008-09-14</lastmod> </url> </urlset> I would rather not have the xmlns="" on the url element. I can strip it out using Replace on the final xdoc.ToString(), but is there a more correct way?

  • JQUERY nav problem

    This is part 2 of a different problem that I was having... Hopefully this is about as simple as you can get, but I'm clearly missing something..... The gist is, I'm trying to get a mouseover effect using jquery/css with a mix of background images and colors. It's mostly there, but the issue that I'm having at the moment is, I mouseover the main nav = fine, I mouseover the subnav = fine, I mouse BACK over to that same main nav element, and it's OFF state kicks in instead of remaining ON as it's supposed to...     Hello all, I have a control which I wrote for capturing signatures on a web page, by using onmousedown, onmousemove and onmouseup on a div to track the mouse, and capture points comprising a signature. Now we need this to work on Windows Mobile 6.5 powered devices... but it seems that the div element does not support the mouse events in Pocket IE, which would seem to be supported by this blog. But according to MSDN, the WinCE (which WinMo/PPC is based off of) version of IE does support these mouse events for some unknown list of elements. So can anyone tell me, are there any elements: img, a, span or whatever that support onmouse[down|move|up] in WinMo 6.5 Pocket IE? Thanks! If not, anyone have any other ideas for capturing a signature on a web page in Pocket IE?
