  I have a UserControl that I call with Html.RenderAction(...), so far so good.. Then I want to specify in the user control, which action should be used Html.BeginForm("DeleteComment", "Comments", new { Id = "frmDelete" }, FormMethod.Post);%> <%= Html.SubmitImage( "imgbtnDelete", "/image.png", new { ... })%> <% Html.EndForm(); %> And therein lies my problem; this calls the user control's controller/action. What I want to happen is to call the pages action first and then be able to specify what action to call on the user control's controller. Is this possible?? Thanks from an MVC noob

• custom button MouseLeave event

  Hi, I made a custom button with some panels and pictureboxes. With the MouseEnter and MouseLeave I set the appropriate hover images like normal buttons. The problem is that if I move the mouse too fast over the control it sometimes doesn't trigger the MouseLeave event. Using actionscript 3 the solution is to simply make new Bitmap from the Loader: var loader:Loader = new Loader(); loader.load(new URLRequest("xyz.png")); this.addChild(loader); var duplicationBitmap:Bitmap = new Bitmap(Bitmap(loader.content).bitmapData); Unluckily, Haxe API doesn't allow to do that.   I'm working on a Google Chrome Extension and would like to get an HTML from within my popup HTML to call functions within my loaded javascript file. How can I get these two files to communicate with eachother? Or can they at all?

  I have read several articles/questions/forums discussing the best auto-complete plugin for jQuery. After trying several good ones, I've realized a flaw in most. If you are looking up countries and type 'In', a couple of countries show up. If you continue typing I-n-d-i-a, this results in 5 AJAX calls (see http://www.freeimagehosting.net/uploads/6f1bcd69e1.png) its quite natural that India is a subset of In, so why call again? We need to simply filter the retrieved list client-side. Anyone knows about such an implementation? What is the status of the Jquery Autocomplete feature? I read at StackOverflow that it is no longer available with Jquery; but the Jquery website has a 'New' mark besides the link to Autocomplete. Thanks

• Loading Images with Real Screen Resolution (Flash AS3)

  I am loading JPEGs into a Flash presentation using load with a flash.display.Loader and it's working great. The JPEGs are sizing to their native resolution (which is perfect). However, if I maximize the Flash presentation (in the Flash Player), the JPGs do NOT take advantage of the bigger screen. For example, the presentation is 1024x768, and the image is 1280x400. Normally the image shows with a part offscreen in the Flash presentation. However, if I expand the Flash presentation to 1680x1200, the freshly loaded image still goes offscreen. Is there any way to load the jpg (or png, or whatever) to take advantage of the displayed resolution of the Flash presentation? Edit: I realize this question is hard to read, so any help would be appreciated.

  We're using the Telerik Rad Controls for ASP.Net Ajax on an ASP.Net MVC project. • Anti-aliased text on HTML5's canvas element

  I'm a bit confused with the way the canvas element anti-aliases text and am hoping you all can help. In the following screenshot the top "Quick Brown Fox" is an H1 element and the bottom one is a canvas element with text rendered on it. On the bottom you can see both "F"s placed side by side and zoomed in. • Using rest-client to upload a paperclip attachment but getting no file found error

  Hello, I have a paperclip attachment that I wan to upload to a web-service using rest-client. However, when I try to run it, I get an error: No such file or directory - /system/postalimages/1/original/postcard-1.png?1274635084 But the file exists for sure: I see it in my directory. How do I debug this?   How can I use both of these in the same UIView correctly? I have one custom subclassed CALayer in which I draw a pattern within drawInContext I have a another in which I set an overlay PNG image as the contents. I have a third which is just a background. How do I overlay all 3 of these items? [self.layer addSublayer:bottomLayer]; // this line is the problem [squaresLayer drawInContext:viewContext]; [self.layer addSublayer:imgLayer]; The other 2 by themselves draw correctly if I do them in that order. No matter where I try and put bottomLayer, it always prevents squaresLayer from drawing. The reason I need 3 layers is I intend to animate the colors in the background and custom layers. The top layer is just a graphical overlay.

  Here's what I want to do: Load a web page from a specific location Print that web page into a jpeg, png, or other graphic file format Upload that image to another site, or save it to a location on my local network I know about window.print(), but that always seems to open up a print window, and I'd like to do as much of this operation silently as possible. Essentially, I want to be able to take a snap shot of the web page so it can be put in a directory that is accessed by one of those electronic picture frames.   Azure itself is imo PaaS and not IaaS. Do you agree? MS gurantees an availability of 99% and a strong consistency. Do they do backups? If Yes: How do they manage consistency? According to the Cap theorem (http://camelcase.blogspot.com/2007/08/cap-theorem.html ) their claims are not realistic. 2.1 Do you know detailed technical stuff about the how they are going to realize the claims about consistency and availability? On the MS page you'll find three SLAs .docs, one for SQL Azure, the second for Azure AppFabric/.Net Services and the third for Azure Compute&Storage.(Screenshot in 1.)   When adding a QComboBox control in Qt Designer, I get a terrible looking, non-native control, see: http://curiouschap.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/stack_qcombobox_question.png [as a newbie, SO wouldn't let me insert the image] On digging further, it turns out that two of the parent controls, QParentWindow and QStackedWidget, have style sheets that QComboBox is inheriting. If I delete the custom styles, then I get a native QComboBox like the one on the left. How can I have QComboBox (and widgets generally) NOT inherit parent styles? Or, how can I create a style for, say, QParentWindow, and do it so that it's local only and does not cascade?

But AppleScript's awkward verbosity and the lack of non-trivial MS Excel AppleScript examples on the web are too much for me to overcome.   Hello all I am trying to include css sprites in my webapp. The thing is I have arranged my website background vertically in sprite image. Now, one portion of the sprite needs to be repeated vertically.
