    After watching the interview with Rich Hickey on Protocols in Clojure 1.2, and knowing very little about Clojure, I have some questions on Clojure Protocols: Are they intended to do the same thing as Structural Types in Scala? What benefits do Protocols have over Structural Types (performance, flexibility, code clarity, etc.)? Are they implemented through reflections? Questions on interoperability with Scala: Can Protocols be used instead of Structural Types in Scala? Can they be extended (if 'extension' term can be applied to Protocols) in Scala?

    I want to capture a webpage as an image. I am able to do this using a firefox extension using context.drawWindow method. Now I want to strech myself and see if I can do this using a bookmarklet :) I remember reading somewhere that context.drawWindow() works only from the firefox toolbars. I dont know if that's still true or not. Can anyone shed some light if I can execute context.drawWindow() from a bookmarklet or no? Thanks Kapil

The editor is not in my list of editors so I cannot do "Open with Django Editor" on a file nor associate a file extension with it. It appears nowhere in my preferences.   • WinForms Form won't close on pressing X or Close() in C#

    I'm having a bit weird problem with WinForm which seems to refuse to close for some weird reason. I've got very simple gui which sometimes doesn't react for me pressing X or when i use events on buttons it even reaches Close() and does nothing.. private void buttonZapisz_Click(object sender, EventArgs e) { string plik = textBoxDokumentDoZaladowania.Text; if (File.Exists(plik)) { string extension = Path.GetExtension(plik); string nazwaPliku = Path.GetFileName(plik); SqlMethods.databaseFilePut(plik, comboBoxTypDokumentu.Text, textBoxKomentarz.Text, sKlienciID, sPortfelID, extension, nazwaPliku); Close(); } } There are no events assigned to FormClosed or FormClosing. So how can I find out what's wrong. Sometimes X will work after the GUI is loaded but after i press Button to save some stuff to database it reaches Close() in that button event and it still is visible and does nothing. Can't use X, nor ALT+F4. I can go around GUI and choose other values for ComboBox without problem. If so, is this because it really is iterating over each element, or does it store the elements in reverse internally and slip the array into a new List<T>?
