    In MS Access 2003 I have a form whose record source is equal to a query that involves an INNER JOIN. The join is between a location table and a container table. Containers are objects that are stored in specific locations each location and container are specified by ID values. SELECT DISTINCTROW Container.Container_ID, Location.Location_ID FROM Location INNER JOIN Container ON Location.[Location_ID] = Container.[Location_ID] What I am trying to figure out is this …. When I delete a record (using the form navigation controls) in the form based on the above query which tables are affected? Are records in the Container and Location tables deleted or is it just in the location table? Thanks!

When I inherit from the base object I want to add more options the the ENUM list which are specific to the inheriting object. For example my base could have a ENUM called Direction with values: None ALL Stop Start I create a new class call Compass which inherits the base class and what to add the following to the ENUM Direction. North South East West I create a new class call Navigation which inherits the base class and what to add the following to the ENUM Direction.     The Twitter app is a tab bar app on the iPhone. Nothing in any of the tabs will rotate, yet, when you click on a link from a tweet, the view controller that is pushed on top of it IS allowed to rotate. The only rotations I have ever doe is from tilting the device, landscape or portrait, but I don't understand how to use 2d transformations and animations to rotate views. How do you rotate any view with that's a subclass of UIView?

    I have a list which contains a number of things: lista = ['a', 'b', 'foo', 'c', 'd', 'e', 'bar'] I'd like to get the first item in the list that fulfils a predicate, say len(item) > 2. Is there a neater way to do it than itertools' dropwhile and next? first = next(itertools.dropwhile(lambda x: len(x) <= 2, lista)) I did use [item for item in lista if len(item)>2][0] at first, but that requires python to generate the entire list first.

  • Need url's to be non secure when moving away from a secured link (without hardcoded url's in html)?

    I have an asp.net site. It has an order form which is accessible at https://secure.example.com/order.aspx. The links on the site do not include the domain name. So for example the home page is 'default.aspx'. The issue is that if I click on a link like the home page from the secure page, the url becomes https://secure.example.com/default.aspx instead of http://www.example.com/default.aspx. What's a good way to handle this? The scheme should automatically work using any domain name based on where it's launched from. So if the site is launched from 'localhost', moving away from the secured page, the url's should be http://localhost/... The navigation links are in a master page.

"no black bar's or borders"".So,my question is how to set and run the app in compatibility mode.Any one having this issue please help on this issue.I have no idea to go forward.     I'm making a bookmarklet, but I've encountered some wierd behaviour in IE8. The code causing the problem is this: var els = document.getElementById("my_id").getElementsByTagName("*"); for(var i in els) { alert(i+","+els[i]) } The first thing that is alerted is "length, n". This isn't the case in chrome: just in IE8. Interestingly, it seems to behave differently depending on whether the code goes in the console/address bar or the page itself. Is this standard behaviour?

I'm developing a website and for the first time i found problems using cufon... if you think u know about cofon check this.. http://universite.jvsoftware.com If you open with firefox and IE, you will notice in the navigation bar, when you over the titles will appear a border (actually is an image) but if you open it with chrome or safari, that image doesnt appear.... the cufon script is easy to find in the source code, also the css. So, if I have a DataTable (from SQL query) with: GroupID Name Description 1 foo bar 1 one two 2 some thing I would like to place all records containing GroupID 1 in one div, all records with GroupID 2 in another div, and so on. How can I do this? I'm writing in ASP.NET 4.0, with C# codebehind.
