    The question is pretty simple, is it possible to create a FIPS 140-2 compliant server in Perl? Especially, is it possible without modifying any of the C code for the modules? If it's not possible in straight Perl, what would be the easiest way to go about it from a C perspective? I'm basically creating a mini-httpd that only serves up a single file, but due to security restrictions it needs to be served up on SSL under FIPS compliance.

I have a root.php include file that contains most of the database info, and some static variables that are used in the program. I'm not sure if some of this should be in the application.ini of in a model that is called by the init() function in a controller, or in the bootstrap or what?     Hi, Here's the problem I'm facing : I've got a custom slider that controlls the volume and a label "volume" that I combine together in a liniar Layout to obtain a volume control setting. In the emulator and on a G1 phone these look pretty ok , however , when put on a Xperia mini the label and the slider overlap . What should I do obtain a decent view independent of the device the application runs ?

  • Can I use IP addresses to limit API access

    I have a mini API that is only for an app I have built. The API service is on a separate domain to my app. I make jsonp calls to it and receive json in return. Therefore I only want my app to be able to access it. Can I just list a series of IP addresses for my app and allow them? Is there a better way to stop requests from anyone else to my API?
