  I am using Jquery datepicker plugin and my requirement is I want to allow user to select Month and Year when he click on the Header say 'May 2010'. I want to make the Header say 'May 2010' of datepicker as a link and when he clicks on it, it should display a small div or option to select month and year with Apply and close buttons and when he click on apply the dat picker should change with the selected month and year. Is it possible?

• Disable TSQL script check?

  Hi, lets say I have a script like that: if(some condition) begin select somecolumn from sometable end Lets say, that "somecolumn" does not exist and the condition is not true, which means the select is NOT executed. Even though the select would not be executed, the script is not valid, Management Studio complains about the missing column "somecolumn". Question: Can I somehow disable this sort of check so that the script is executed and since the if is not true, it will never notice that the column is missing? Thanks :-)

I would like to keep the HTML in a seperate file so that say I make a desktop client I can just use the php files to do the login register etc. Basically to have say a front end, the HTML or desktop client and then only one backend, the php.   In programming, when we say "the 7th Least Significant Bit", do we have a standard of whether it is bit 7 or bit 6 (if we start from bit 0). Because if we say "the 2nd Least Significant Bit", it sounds like it is bit 1 (counting from bit 0 again), so if 2nd means bit 1, then 7th means bit 6, not bit 7.

• Does control return after "execvp()"

  "execvp()" replaces the current program with the to-be-execed program (of course in the same process context). So, putting, say, any printf() calls after execvp() won't work. That is what the docs say, and I have verified it as well. But then, why is _exit() needed..? Does it so happen that the control DOES return to statements post execvp() ?   How do I change the library a function loads from during run time? For example, say I want to replace the standard printf function with something new, I can write my own version and compile it into a shared library, then put "LD_PRELOAD=/my/library.so" in the environment before running my executable. But let's say that instead, I want to change that linkage from within the program itself. Surely that must be possible... right?

• SVN: Prevent a newer client from upgrading a working copy's SVN version?

  Is it possible to prevent a newer SVN client (say 1.6) from automatically upgrading a working copy that was checked out with an older client (say 1.4 or 1.5)? I find that as soon as I touch a working copy with a newer client, anyone using an older client to work with the same files can no longer do so (for obvious reasons). Assuming requiring everyone to upgrade their SVN clients isn't an option, is there a configuration setting or flag I can set to prevent my newer client from making this change?
