  I thought I'd found the solution a while ago (see my blog): If you ever get the JavaScript (or should that be JScript) error "Can't execute code from a freed script" - try moving any meta tags in the head so that they're before your script tags. ...but based on one of the most recent blog comments, the fix I suggested may not work for everyone. I thought this would be a good one to open up to the StackOverflow community.... What causes the error "Can't execute code from a freed script" and what are the solutions/workarounds?

  If I compile this QT c++ program in SuSE Linux include using namespace std; int main () { cout << "Hello World!"; return 0; When I type i386-mingw32-g++ helloworld.cpp I get the following error i386-mingw32-g++: error trying to exec 'cc1plus': execvp: No such file or directory Is this because MinGW package which i installed contains only gcc in it.. hence i downloaded gcc-g++-3.4.5.rpm package and just copy pasted i386-mingw32-g++ and cc1plus executable along with C++ include files. • Mercurial Pull Error

  I am new to the dvcs world. My company uses perforce and I'm not a fan so I thought I'd try to use mercurial as a front end. I set it up on a windows machine with TortiseHG, enabled the Perfarce extension, did a small checkout (limiting the target revision) and pulled for the rest. This seemed to be more robust than clone alone. This seems to be working fairly well as I've been able to get up to change 8700 or so. My problem is with an error in the perforce repo. During the hg pull command it hits an error abort: file path/to/file.pl missing in p4 workspace and rolls back the transaction. Is there anyway to bypass or skip that file and force it to continue since this is not a file I care about.

However, I've just noticed that when regexec fails to match, it returns != 0 and I have no idea of what was wrong :-(.   Whenever I require a file in ruby or irb I get this error: LoadError: no such file to load -- (insert any filename).rb from <internal:lib/rubygems/custom_require>:29:in `require' from <internal:lib/rubygems/custom_require>:29:in `require' from (irb):1 from /usr/bin/irb1.9.1:12:in `<main>' It happens even if the file exists I am using ruby1.9.1 and to my knowledge, I have not installed rubygems.   I've upgraded a FlexBuilder3 project to FlashBuilder4, and I am seeing many compilation errors regarding unsupported tag attributes: The style 'backgroundDisabledColor' is only supported by type 'mx.controls.TextInput' with the theme(s) 'halo' Here is the offending mxml element: <mx:TextInput x="245" y="86" id="code1" maxChars="15" change="enableButton(event)" cornerRadius="9" borderStyle="solid" backgroundDisabledColor="#7977b6" /> ...what is the best workaround for this particular error? I was able to easily resolve a similar error with the "backgroundColor" attribute by changing it to "contentBackgroundColor", and was hoping there was a simple workaround for backgroundDisabledColor as well. I realize I can apply a css style, but I'd rather have a simpler solution as there are many many other attribute errors similar to this one.

  I've created an C# class that contains 2 static method and I successfully created an Assembly in SQL 2005. Eg: If first name is 'XYZ-', how can i display '- is not allowed in first name.' Is there a way I can access what character the regex is failing for? Would you recommend something else altogether? I thought about writing a custom validator but the regex is pretty simple, so I don't see the point. I couldn't find a decent documentation for the zend 'regex' validator anywhere. If I don't override the default error message, I simple get something like : ';;;hhbhbhb' does not match against pattern '/^[(a-zA-Z0-9)]+$/' - which I obviously don't want to display to the user. I'd appreciate your inputs.
