    Hello, Can anyone explain me how can I detect a selection in a table view Header view like in tableView:didSelectRowAtIndexPath: ? It would be very useful for me. I've defined the header as UITableCellView so I could attach a UISwitch as an accessory view, and it worked great but now I can't detect the changes made in the switch. Any suggestions?

  • Change table view ( style grouped ) background color ?

    Hi all, I am developing an iPad application in which I need a table view ( style grouped ) having background color as clearColor. My problem is [self.tableView setBackgroundColor:[UIColor clearColor]]; works well if the table view style is plain but when I switch to group table view the background color does not changes it stays gray in color. FYI: the contentview background color of tableviewcell also does not change. Is this a bug in iPhone-sdk or I am doing something wrong. Thanks, Madhup

    Hi, We are developing a client-server desktop application(winforms with sql server 2008, using LINQ-SQL).We are now finding many issues related to performance.These relate to querying too much data with LINQ , bad database design,not much caching etc.What do you suggest,we should do - how to go about solving these performance issues?     I am trying to manually code some changes into my SharePoint Site Template. I can get the stp/cab file open and have added a new Element to the manifest.xml file, but when I repackage the stp and load it onto the server - the new site that I create using the updated .stp does not reflect the new link that I have added to the manifest.xml I realize this isn't the proper way to add a link to the sidebar but am interested to make it work this way, for other reasons.

  • Azure storage - double decimal point ignored on save

    I have a value that is correctly stored in a property of an object, but when I save the changes to the Azure storage database, the double value is stored to the database ignoring the point (7.1000000003 is saved as 711). Also, the property is changed to 711.0. How do I solve this problem? The field is already set to double in the class and the database table.

  • Removing input background colour for Chrome autocomplete?

    On a form I'm working on, Chrome is auto-filling the email and password fields. This is fine, however, Chrome changes the background colour to a pale yellow colour. The design I'm working on is using light text on a dark background, so this really messes up the look of the form - I have stark yellow boxes and near-invisible white text. Once the field is focused, the fields return to normal. Is it possible to stop Chrome changing the colour of these fields?

    I'm trying to turn a method I have right now into a more "generic" method that returns a string. Right now, the method uses a statement like this: var app = (from d in testContext.DAPPs where d.sserID == (Guid)user.ProviderUserKey select d).ToList(); I process the results of "app", add extra text etc. The piece that changes (that I need to make more "generic") is the table name (DAPPs). Is there a way I can do that, or, a better way to go around this all together?

Surely, if there is an error, you would want the app to stop what it was doing, rollback any data changes, and inform the user of the error, rather than just resuming. When is it good idea to use Resume?
