• Help with SSh Tunnel [closed]

  I am running a Django instance locally and doing some Facebook development. So, I set up a port on a remote machine to forward to my local machine, so that Facebook can hit the web server, and have the requests forwarded to my local machine. Unfortunately, I'm getting the following error in my browser when I try and access the page: http://dev.thegreathive.com/ Any idea what I'm doing wrong? I think the problem is on my local machine, since if I kill the SSH tunnel, the error message changes.

  Hi, I have a website that changes his inputs ids, and I'm trying to make a semi auto-login, filling automatically the email and the password part... I'm doing this with greasemonkey and jQuery... I'm trying something like this $("input[@type=text]").setValue("[email protected]"); but had no success... The Page has only the login part, two text type inputs... What am I missing here?

  I'm using SqlCacheDependency in asp.net application, and i'm using HttpRuntime.Cache to cache items. and the application works well only when i debug the web application, but the HttpRuntime.Cache will not be notified when some data changes from the db when i debug the application in the unit test mode. Anyone have suggestions to make HttpRuntime.Cache to work under unit test?

  Hi all, I have a java project in Eclipse which includes a couple of external jar files. These external jar files are being rebuilt through a different process (not eclipse, ant). Those changes are not being reflected on the eclipse project even if I refresh the project. If I close the project and reopen, it works. Any suggestions on how I could expedite the project without having to close and reopen? Thanks, Praveen.

• Can I write for .Net 4 using VS2008?

I realise that VS2008 will probably struggle with language changes such as the dynamic keyword but can I install the version 4 and target it anyway?   I have a WinForm program that checks a database for changes, and if there are any, it will open another WinForm telling the user what is happening (the popup WinForm has some special functionality making a MessageBox insufficient for this task). Each time one of these popup WinForms shows up, a new icon shows up in the system tray and does not go away even if you hover over it (this isn't a tray refresh issue). What I'm wondering is how to get the popup WinForm to display no tray icon at all.

  Hi All, I have an NSTableView working correctly except when I'm editing one of the table items. If the user is still in edit mode, and it presses the Sheet OK button, the tableiew doesn't update. How do I force the tableview to commit the changes when the user press the ok button (closesheet). Also, how do I handle the ESC Key to cancel the editing? Sorry if the questions looks absurd, but I've been only on developing on Mac for a month.

  I want to encrypt the connection string in web.config, the problem is each time a developer changes the connection string in web.config and publishes, it needs to be encrypted every time in the web server. Is there any way that the connection string can encrypted automatically every time someone publishes it? Note :- All of us work on our local machines other than the server.   When I initialize a control property from code, the binding to the same property defined on XAML don't work. Why? For Example, I set control properties on startup with this statements: myControl.SetValue(UIElement.VisibilityProperty, DefaultProp.Visibility); myControl.SetValue(UIElement.IsEnabledProperty, DefaultProp.IsEnabled); and on xaml I bind the property of myControl in this way: IsEnabled="{Binding Path=IsKeyControlEnabled}" now, when the property "IsKeyControlEnabled" changes to false, myControl remains enabled (because it's initialize with true value).
