    I have apache with php 5.4 installed on a Windows 7 64bit machine. When I restart Apache I get the following: PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library 'c:/PHP54/ext\\php_ldap.dll' - %1 is not a valid Win32 application The file is present but LDAP doesn't work, any idea what I am doing wrong? php.ini has the following settings [ldap] ; Sets the maximum number of open links or -1 for unlimited. ldap.max_links = -1 ;extension=php_interbase.dll extension=php_ldap.dll extension=php_mbstring.dll

  • What does the [0/0] indicator mean when entering copy mode in tmux?

    When entering copy mode in tmux, an indicator in the upper right corner shows "[0/0]". I can't find any documentation in the man page about what these numbers mean, and it's difficult to search since Google throws away the brackets and slash. This is generated by window_copy_write_line() in window-copy.c: if (py == 0) { size = xsnprintf(hdr, sizeof hdr, "[%u/%u]", data->oy, screen_hsize(data->backing)); if (size > screen_size_x(s)) size = screen_size_x(s); screen_write_cursormove(ctx, screen_size_x(s) - size, 0); screen_write_puts(ctx, &gc, "%s", hdr); but the variable names aren't very instructive to someone who isn't familiar with the code.     I was searching for a solution which will help me to disable URL auto suggestion (from history) while I type url on adressbar. But I haven't found anything about this solution. I tryied to uncheck Use a prediction service to help complete searches and URLs typed in the address barin privacy settings, but it doesn't help. Is there any way to disable history or disable url suggestions from history?

    Firefox can be startet via Commandline How can I run an application with command line arguments in Mac OS Is there an argument to make it start in 32 bit ? I know i could select it via finder, but thats no option for my problem I have solved a similar problem for chrome by creating an Automator "Launcher" which start Chrome with deactivated flash, but for that I need to know whether there is a command line argument to set 32bit. Maybe by changing systems settings by "default" ?

  • After my laptop wakes up from sleeping/hibernating, the LCD/brightness is very low. How can I set it to default?

    In Power Management Preferences, On AC Power tab, I have brightness to 100%. "Dim display when idle" is not checked. I know for sure my LCD brightness is capable of going higher, because if I hit Fn and F7 then it resets the monitor brightness and settings for a few seconds, but the resolution breaks and then the brightness goes back. PS: OS is Debian Lenny ( I set the tags but for clarification ) and laptop is a Thinkpad.

  • I wrote a new X11 keyboard layout file, how do I get my system to recognize it?

    I like to configure my keys my way, so I wrote a keyboard symbols file and I put it in /usr/share/X11/xkb/symbols/cat I use it by running setxkbmap cat -variant dvorak (and it works), but it doesn't show up in the console configuration (dpkg-reconfigure console-setup) nor in the Gnome keyboard settings... nor anywhere else, so I have to run setxkbmap every time. I suppose that I have to register it somewhere, but where? Any hints? Thanks!

It works fine, but I can't set the resolution to anything higher than 1600 x 1200, whereas my screen is 1920x1080. Here's my system specifications: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3632QM CPU @ 2.20GHz AMD Radeon 7650 VGA 8 Gb RAM DDR3 Moreover, if I try to enhable 3D acceleration in the settings of my guest, when I expand to full screen it aborts...     I am re-branding a website that has both English & Chinese Traditional text. When I am copying + pasting the Chinese text into notepad++, the characters gets displayed as question marks. I tried changing the language settings within notepad++ to Chinese, but it now displays as squashed rectangles.   • Enabling Squid delay pool eats up the entire memory

    I am using "squid-3.1.8-1.el5" in my CentOS 5 32 bit system. In normal condition Squid uses 85m - 90m, but when I enable the delay pool parameters the memory usage suddenly rise up 2GB. The memory keeps on increasing until the system is out of resource. The following are my delay pool settings: delay_pools 1 delay_class 1 1 delay_access 1 allow all delay_parameters 1 192000/192000 Is there anything I am missing here or is it a bug with Squid ?

HP Deskjet F2235 - designated scanner (has printing issues) Brother HL-2040 - designated printer (doesn't have a scanner) Just by using those two both connected to the same computer, is there a way to perform a photocopy operation by scanning via the designated scanner then immediately it being printed from the designated printer? Obviously you could save the scanned files then print them, but short of making a script or manually doing this, is there a faster automatic way through settings or third-party software?

I can't seem to find the settings to set this up and am not even sure if they exist. I have connected hmailserver to an account already so it has downloaded the emails to my local hard drive, but I need to put them in some readable format.   • Possible HDD malfunction. Need help in diagnosing

    Today when using my PC as I did for almost 4 years I experienced the following: during opening new tab in Opera browser screen froze. Music (AIMP 3) continued to play for about 5 minutes and then stopped too. I tried Ctrl+Alt+Del, but win7 lock screen didn't appear. Caps\Scroll or Num locks didn't switch diodes on keyboard. I rebooted my PC and saw that BIOS suggests me to enter it's settings or load by default. I chose default. It don't see proper boot device (old faitful "insert proper boot" something). After second reboot it said that there is no ExpressGate installed (which i turned off in BIOS years ago). I went into BIOS setting to turn off ExpressGate and see configs: time was not set off, all hard drives present, temp and O.C. settings are nominal (no O.C.) I've inserted my Win7 install disk to try recovery. It did load awfully long (about few minutes) and didn't see current installation. PC was utilized in 24/7 mode for almost all these years. Hardware configuration: ASUS P5Q WS Core 2 Quad Q9300 (2.5GHz no O.C.) MSI geForce GTX 460 4x2 Gb GeIL EVO 2 (AFAIR) Seagate something 750Gb (4 years as system HDD 24/7) WD 1Tb (for random stuff, 5 y.o.) Hitachi 500Gb (for even more random stuff, 6 y.o.) NEC DVDRW (ALL DISKS ARE SATA) Cooler Master Silent Pro 700W Software: Windows 7 AND Kubuntu on the same drive with GRUB loader. Sorry I can't remember HDDs and can't see them right now, but I think their models aren't relevant anyway. My idea is that due to some system error or hard drive glitch i've wrecked my primary HDD's MBR. Nevertheless I don't exclude the possibility of other failure. May it's be that motherboard or it's SATA controller? Doubt it, because all drives are seen in BIOS and I could load from DVD. Maybe GRUB got bugged somehow, although I don't see how it's possible from Windows. But I did install KUbuntu from Windows (i wasn't myself then), maybe GRUB did write itself in some windows partition and got rewriteen in process? Right now I am at work with my flash drive with me and I need some advice how to fix MBR or to hear if it's not MBR. I'm going to buy new HDD (Hitachi 7k2000) because I think that my current HDD is compromised and it's unsafe to use it as system drive, especially 24/7.

    I got a Dell Inspiron 1521 laptop from the local computer store, it is obviously a used machine. When I got it the data from the previous user was on it they did not do a wipe. Anyhow Dell was not being any help to me on wiping the data. Does anyone know how I get the machine to restore Windows to the factory settings. Also I do not have the system disc that come with the computer, I just have the computer and the power cord.
