  I am having some trouble with (I suspect) my wireless router. It's connected to the internet with a regular lan cable and has a static, public IP address. Our two home PCs connect to the router with regular lan cables, plus there's a laptop which connects over wifi. diagram: Internet | | <- isp-supplied cat5 ethernet cable | D-Link D300 ...wifi... laptop / \ / <- cable -> \ PC1 PC2 The PCs and laptop are behind NAT and share the router's public IP. The router is a D-Link D300. PC1 is used for online gaming and I'm experiencing frequent "connection dropped" errors when playing Battlefield 3, StarCraft 2 and the Diablo 3 beta; but not with TeamFortress 2 or the Tribes Ascend beta. The issue goes away when I remove the router and connect PC1 directly to the ISP's cable. I have also tried disconnecting PC2 and the laptop, leaving PC1 as the only machine connected to the router - doesn't help. How can I diagnose what precisely the issue is?

• Numpad's Enter key is acting like the Command key instead

  I can't get the numpad Enter key to work on OS X 10.6.5. The numpad works fine, as do the plus and minus keys. Only the Enter is not working. I tried 2 keyboards and I get the same problem with both, so it's got to be a setting somewhere. In Keyboard Viewer, when I press the key, it shows that the ? keys are pressed. And indeed, pressing Enter-L puts the cursor in the location bar of my browser, just like Command-L would. Is there a way to remap it?

Now the problem is people can muck around with the qurystring in order to read local files on the server. I dont wnat this. • Call two Matlab functions simultaneously from .net

  I am writing a C# application and I would like to make calls to different matlab functions simultaneously(from different threads). Each Matlab function is located in its own compiled .net library. It seems that I am only able to call one Matlab function at a time however. ie, if matlab_func1() gets called from thread1 then matlab_func2() gets called from thread2, matlab_func2() must wait for matlab_func1() to finish executing. Is there a way to call different matlab functions simultaneously? Thanks.

  Somone made a Youtube video on Ditto, and that person uses Win+Num to paste items from the list. He put a screenshot of his settings on Google Plus: When I try to do the same, which is to put “1” in the text field of Position 1, and check the “Win” box to add the Windows key as the sole modifier for the shortcut, which will be Win + 1, I get an error in that says “Error Registering Position 1” in a window titled CP_Main: Could it be because Win+Num conflicts with the natural Win+Num shortcut (starts the application pinned to the taskbar in that position, or switches to that program) of Windows 7? • Why do custom styled Google Maps (v3) not support marker animation (pin drop)?

  For example, I cannot combine the concepts of this simple example: link text with the concepts of this example: link text, which uses the styled V3 api. In Chrome I get an error saying that: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'DROP' of undefined And it refers to this line of code: animation: google.maps.Animation.DROP, When I replace the javascript link reference to use the version of the API from the first example, the error goes away, but I lose the custom styling.   I want to render (for internal debugging/info) the last modified date of an assembly, so I know when was a certain website deployed. Is it possible to get it though reflection? I get the version like this, I'm looking for something similar: Assembly.GetExecutingAssembly().GetName().Version.ToString(); ie: I don't want to open the physical file, get its properties, or something like that, as I'll be rendering it in the master page, and don't want that kind of overhead.

  More often than not, websites with any number of images will use frame breaking scripts to lose Google Image Search's results frame (e.g. this relatively benign case). While I somewhat understand the reasons for doing so (as ineloquently put forth by these people), more often than not, such breakout/redirects dump me to a useless page that doesn't have the image I was looking for, plus it makes going "back" rather irritating as you need to click twice or more (some pages jam you through several redirects it seems) in rapid succession. Other than having reflexes to copy the 'Full-size image' hyperlink quicker than loading the breakout script, is there a way to get my actual result?

  img_hsv is a Mat element of an hsv image! when i give cout<<*img_hsv.data+10; it gives true value of the pixel ie 79 as output. but when i assign uchar * a=img_hsv.data+10; it gives me some other value... can you please explain me why is this the case? thanks!

The file is just one line and the seperator is '<br>' foo<br>bar<br>.....<br> I just want to split the file in parts, where each file has 100 datasets (text plus <br>)( normaly 100 datasets, but at the end maybe less) I already played around with this ... split-file-in-2-with-sed and this split-one-file-into-multiple-files-based-on-pattern sed.exe -e "^.*.<br>{0,100}/g" < original.txt > first_half.txt The split do not work an the result is only 1 file instead of many.
