  Hello, in C# Application. I've a windows form application in which clicking certain button make object from a 2nd Form. On closing this 2nd From by user Memory used by this form not released (from Task Manager). I Tried using this.dispose() on exit button ,tried this.close() , tried form2 =null in the main code ,and tried clearing all controls from this form by code before Disposing and every time the clicks the button memory usage by the application increases more and memory used by previous instance not released. What shall i use to solve this problem ?

  I'm building an application that listens on both TCP and UDP, and I've run into some trouble with my shutdown mechanism. When I call Thread.interrupt() on each of the listening threads, the TCP thread is interrupted from listening, whereas the UDP listener isn't. To be specific, the TCP thread uses Socket.accept(), which simply returns (without actually connecting). Whereas the UDP thread uses DatagramSocket.receive, and doesn't exit that method. Is this an issue in my JRE, my OS, or should I just switch to (Datagram)Socket.close()?

  I just need to validate 2 strings in javascript. One of them must contain only 0 or more open parenthesis ( . The other must contain only 0 or more close parenthesis ) . This means only those characters are allowed in each value. After spending a lot of time trying to understand the regex, I can't find a way to achieve this. With the escape characters I make a mess of the regex function. This is what I thought: /\(*/ Could anyone help me?

• Bash, Concatenating 2 strings to reference a 3rd variable

  I have a bash script I am having some issues with concatenating 2 variables to call a 3rd. Here is a simplification of the script, but the syntax is eluding me after reading the docs. server_list_all="server1 server2 server3"; var1 = "server"; var2 = "all"; echo $(($var1_list_$var2)); This is about as close as I get to the right answer, it acknowledges the string and tosses an error on tokenization. syntax error in expression (error token is "server1 server2 server3.... • Lua not producing table of functions (IO API)

  I'm working on a basic project in Lua. I've been trying to get data from files using the IO API (as defined here), but when I open a file and give it a handle, it doesn't seem to return a table of functions. The (erroneous bit of) code: local unread = fs.list("email/"..from.."/") local send = "" for _,file in ipairs(unread) do local handle = io.open(file,"r") local text = handle:read("*a") send = send .. text .. "\n" handle.close() fs.delete(file) end The fs you see on the first line is a professional filesystem wrapper round the IO API, not my work and perfectly error-free, so that's not the problem. However, when I try to read the file (handle:read()), it throws "attempt to index nil". Tracing it, it turns out that handle itself is nil. Any ideas?

• Implicit type conversion in DB/2 inserts?

  We're using SQL Inserts to insert some data via a script into DB/2 tables, e.g. CREATE TABLE TICKETS (TICKETID VARCHAR(10) NOT NULL); On my home installation, this statement works fine (note that I'm using an integer which is autoatically cast into a VarChar): INSERT INTO TICKETS (TICKETID) VALUES (1); while at my customer's site I get a type error. My question(s): Is this behavior version dependent? (I use a DB2 Express V9.7, while the customer has an Enterprise V9.5) Is there a config option to change the behavior? (I would like my home install to behave as close as possible as the production environment is going to be.)

  I have an API which opens an access database for read and write. The API opens the connection when it's constructed and closes the connection when it's destructed. When the db is opened an .ldb file is created and when it closes it's removed (or disappears). There are multiple applications using the API to read and write to the access db. I want to know: Is ldb file used to track multiple connections Does calling an db.close() closes all connections or just one instance. Will there be any sync issues with the above approach.

• PHP: "Footer function"?

  I have a project. It has a good number of PHP files. Each of these files includes a standard header. They don't include a standard footer. Now I want to do something just before the end of every page. I can go through each page and add the footer code, but I was wondering if there is an easier way (and I think I've seen something like it before, though I might be mistaken). Is there a way to set a "hook" or "trigger" function that will be executed at the end of a page, from the included header PHP script? I'm thinking of something like set_error_handler but to handle a page close event. Or like C's atexit function.

On the same page I have form where I can input some textobox and with the click on the button make update on the same data in the database whis is at the first time loaded on the same page? The date is update, I can see it in SQL SERVER, but on the web page not. Its still the old data presents. After I close my application and run it again, then the new data appears on the page.

  So like the title says im starting to learn some python and im having trouble picking up on this technique. What I need to accomplish is to read in some numbers and store them in a list. The text file looks like the following: 0 0 3 50 50 100 4 20 Basically these are coordinates and directions to be used for python's turtle to make shapes. I got that part down the only problem is getting them in a correct format. So what I can not figure out is how to get those numbers from the file into [ [0, 0, 3, 50], [50, 100, 4, 20] ] A list, with each four coordinates being a list in that one big list.   I would like to slice random letters from a string. Given s="howdy" I would like to pick elements from 's' without replacement but keep the index number. For example >>> random.sample(s,len(s)) ['w', 'h', 'o', 'd', 'y'] is close to what I want, but I would actually prefer something like [('w',2), ('h',0), ('o',1), ('d',3), ('y',4)] with letter-index pairs. This is important because the same letter appears in 's' more than once. ie) "letter" where 't' appears twice but I need to distinguish the first 't' from the 'second'. Ideally I actually only need to pick letters as I need them but scrambling and calculating all the letters in a list (as shown above) is ok.

• Socket.io Duplicate clients on a namespace

  Hi I'm trying to use dynamic namespace to create them on demand. • How to set up Node server for production on own machine?

  This must be a pretty basic thing to do, but I cannot find any good guide on how to do it on the internet. I only find how to set up a development environment for Node. I want to be able to forward my R-Pi's port 80 to my Node server, which I want to obviously listen on port 80. How can I close the native port 80 so that I can let me Node server listen on that port. Ultimately, I want to be able to access my pi from any remote location. I know how to set up a static IP and forward the port on my router, but now how do I allow Node into port 80?
