    Here’s a question: What happens to the Current property of an IEnumerator before and after the MoveNext() call? When I say ‘after the MoveNext() call’, I mean after MoveNext() returns a false indicating an end of the collection.   • Tried every possible method but couldn't enable compiz?

    a newbie, installed ubuntu 10.10 about a month ago,over the month i fixed everything from dad playback,to webcam,but couldn't enable compiz anayway,my card is blacklisted, i tried the SKIP_CHECKS=yes,method and even tried ghex editing,but of no avail,now all i get when i run compiz in the terminal is "segmentation fault",the specs of my laptop is intel core i3 2330,and intel hd graphics 3000,has anyone has been able to run compiz on intel hd graphics 3000?

  • How to decide to which class does a method belong

    I have TopicBusiness.class and PostBusiness.class. I have no problem with deciding into which class methods such as addPostToDatabase() or getAllPostsFromDatabase() should go. But what about getAllPostsFromTopic(TopicEntity topic) or getNumberOfPostsInTopic(TopicEntity topic)? Should the parameter be the deciding factor? So when the method takes TopicEntity as parameter it should belong to TopicBusiness.class? I am quite puzzled by this.

    When I add the Cometd plugin to Grails 1.2.1, grail's "jetty" debug environment will no longer start up. I have been unable to debug this, not being familiar enough with the underlying components. (This is a big issue with Grails development in general.     I am developing an application with different behavior depending on the arguments : - "-config" starts a Gtk window to change options, start and close the daemon. - "-daemon" starts a background process that does something every X minutes. I already know how to use fork/system/exec etc... But I would like to know the main logic of such application to : - restart or refresh the daemon when configuration change. - keep only one instance of the daemon. I have red that killing the daemon to restart it is not a clean way to do. How other applications do ? (ubuntuone, weather forecast, rss feed working with notification area) Thanks for your help. PS : I don't want to create a system-wide daemon, just a user application with a background process.

    I'm creating an iPad app with a tab bar controller that requires login. So on launch, I want to show a LoginViewController and if login is successful, then show the tab bar controller. This is how I implemented an initial test version (left out some typical header stuff, etc)... The login view controller calls removeFromSuperView before it calls didFinish. The app delegate then calls addSubView on the tab bar controller's view. If you made it up to this point, thanks, and I have three questions: MAIN QUESTION: Is this the right way to show a view controller before the app's main tab bar controller is displayed? Even though it seems to work, is it a proper way to do it? If I comment out the "lvc release" in the app delegate then the app crashes with EXC_BAD_ACCESS when the button on the login view controller is pressed. Why? With the "lvc release" commented out everything seems to work but on the debugger console it writes this message when the app delegate calls addSubView for the tab bar controller: Using two-stage rotation animation. To use the smoother single-stage animation, this application must remove two-stage method implementations. What does that mean and do I need to worry about it?

    Hi, I have a Tableview on AppDelegate That calls a SecondView (dvController) when DidSelectRowAtIndexPath using: [self.window addSubview:[dvController view]]; On SecondView I defined a button linked to IBAction that should go back to previous view. It works great but when row selected but, How could then go back to previous view if main one is AppDelegate? self.window addSubview:[?? view]]; Should be basic concept but I am quite new and unable to get the solution.     Hi, I have a main domain (www.mysite.com). All the files (source code) are stored within the public_html directory. I added one addon domain (www.mysite.net). By default it points to public_html/mysite.net/ directory. Is it possible that it reads all the files (source code) from public_html directory itself. Actually I am planning to have multiple addon domains, the source code for all will be same.
