• WordPress contact form email as PDF

  I am using the below code for my WordPress site which is emailing all the form details as an HTML text but I need the details to be written into a PDF first and then have to email the PDF as an attachment. How can I achieve this? This is not a PHP code to use PHP's writePDF modules. • Select list auto update on any kind of change?

  I have a jQuery that when you click on a select option it will show the next one, but you have to click, you cant just use the down arrow or "tab" to the next option. I am wondering what options do I have to make this work? I've tested this in an earlier version of IE and also in Chrome and it works as expected. The functions called from the anchor tags are working as expected. Creating a dropdown with an onChange event in html works in IE11. Has anyone come across anything like this in IE11? I have checked the console and it is showing no errors.

  Okay I have this MySQL database form and am trying to add validation to it. After 2 days of fighting with it, I thought I would get some advice. Would like that the selected item from dropdown and Firstname, Phone, Email, are all required. Then I want to verify that the data in the Firstname, Lastname, Phone (doesn't have to be any special format), Email and Comments are all acceptable formats before putting in database. I am just not sure how to go about doing this. It's a full html file with header and footer navigations but in the middle of all this is the data I need.   Yesterday me and a friend were talking about the overuse of custom taglibs! We create taglibs for everything! We create taglibs in order to wrap jQuery UI elements (tabs, button, etc), and other plugins elements as well. We often wrap them together in a single component. We use taglibs in a point that we almost have no pure html within the body tag. Our question is: is this a healthy habit??? Imagine two situations: 1) We hire an html designer and have the cost of a month for him to learn all this stuff. 2) We want to outsource the html development but no company would get our taglib library to learn, OR it become more expensive. We love taglibs as its been a lovely shortcut for javascipt development as we write it only once. What would be the best practices in this sense, and what would you suggest? We are looking for a future-proof solution (or an argument that agrees with ours).

I also am unsure weather I should be looking into XHTML or HTML5, or both so an answer to that would be splendid. I just want to become more self-sufficient and less reliant on other for my programming needs. I've searched Google for books but I'm just not sure which one is the "best" for me and makes for good practice and habits which brings me here.

• ASP.NET MVC Html.BeginRouteForm render's action with problem

  hi, i defined this route: context.MapRoute("SearchEngineWebSearch", "{culture}/{style}/search/web/{query}/{index}/{size}", new { controller = "search", action = "web", query = "", index = 0, size = 5 }, new { index = new UInt32RouteConstraint(), size = new UInt32RouteConstraint() }); and form to post parameter to that: <% using (Html.BeginRouteForm("SearchEngineWebSearch", FormMethod.Post)) { %> <input name="query" type="text" value="<%: ViewData["Query"]%>" class="search-field" /> <input type="submit" value="Search" class="search-button" /> <%} %> but form rendered with problem. why? thanks in advance ;)

• TextBoxFor rendering to HTML with prefix on the ID attribute

  I have an ASPNET MVC 2 project. When I use <%= Html.TextBoxFor(model => model.Login) %> the TexBoxFor will render as <input id="Login" name="Login" type="text" value="" /> Field in the model is [Required(ErrorMessage = "")] [DisplayName("Login")] public string Login { get; set; } Can I made id and name attribute with some prefix? Like <input id="prefixLogin" name="prefixLogin" type="text" value="" /> Thanks to all.
