I want users to be redirected to http://abc.somecompanyname.com whenever they type http://abc to the URL bar. Could someone please provide and example or point me in the right direction.   • I work on local copies of files and upload them to a remote server on save. What version control sys

    Here's my situation: My files are on a remote server (Linux). When I want to edit a file at home on my Windows machine, my editor (PSPad) downloads a copy. When I save the document, my editor uploads it to the server, overwriting the previous version. Is there a version control system, preferably GUI driven, that can handle this situation? Additional info: I probably can't install elaborate software on the remote server, but can on my own computer. Concurrent Versions System (CVS) is installed on the remote server. Uploading/downloading goes through an FTP-to-SFTP bridge set up with Bitvise Tunnelier.

    I have a multidimensional array, and I would have multiple arrays within it. Some of those arrays contain multiple arrays within them as well, and I would like to count how many arrays are within the second array(the date).   • Can we add new attribute or change type of existing attribute to a "Referenced Element"?

    In my XML schema I have an element being referenced tens of times by other elements but with different enumerated values for one of its attribute. For now, instead of creating this element in global space and referencing it later, I am creating a new instance wherever it is needed. This approach has increased my schema size enormously because of repeated creation of almost same element many times. It also may have adverse effect on efficiency of the schema. The only way that I see is to create element once and then reference it many times but my problem is: one of the attribute of this referenced element is required to have a different set of enumerations for each referencing element. My question is: Is it possible to to add an attribute to a "Referenced Element" in XML Schema?     so I have text.cpp, which 'includes' header.h, and then I have a header.cpp which includes header.h. How is header.cpp compiled as well? I'm walking through a guide here, and thoroughly confused. Also, what is the correct terminology for what I am asking? I know I sound like a moron, and I apologize, but I'm ignorant. Oh, main is in test.cpp. Also, if header.cpp includes , why can't I use iostream function calls in text.cpp if it is included? If I include iostream in text.cpp will it be included in the program twice (in other words, bloat it)?

    I want to load data to an instance of an object using its constructor and I write $this->property=$row["colname"] each time for each property. the mysql_fetch_object function fetches the data as an object but I am not sure if the instance of an object can be assigned to some object from inside. othwerwise I would use __construct($object) { $this=$object; } //doesn't give any syntax error Maybe I should look into iteration of properties and use foreach($object as $key => $value) $value=$object[$key]; or can I assign like $this=$object; within the constructor?

    I get the impression mootools will do this, but in a roundabout way. I am working with livevalidation script. What I want to achieve is when the from runs and errors are generated then the page will scroll to the first error found. This will be outputted as: <span class=" LV_validation_message LV_invalid">Can't be empty!</span> with jquery I could do the following: $.scrollTo($('span.LV_invalid:1')); I get the feeling in mootools I have to first find the position of the first span with class LV_invalid then pass this to the scrollTo function or is there a much simpler solution?
