• Shall web services call on iphone using GPRS connectivity?

  Hi, I am beginner in iphone development. I develop an application in which i call some web services in my application. When that application i ran on iphone device using Wi-Fi connectivity then it work fine and well condition also in good performance, but when that application ran on GPRS connection then the web service call well and after that application collapsed.What will be the exact problem dose with my application? Could any different setting between Wi-Fi and GPRS?

  I have created a UISplitViewController based iOS app in XCode 3.2.5 Below is a screen shot of Interface builder showing the rootviewcontroller and how it is linked to other objects. Being a beginner myself, I do not understand: 1) What is the role of the rootviewcontroller? Searched the documentation but what I found did not answer this question. 2) I thought a IBOutlet should only link to one corresponding object. Why in this case the rootviewcontroller is linked to two?

  Hello all I am just a beginner in programing i wish covert some code from C# to F#, I have encotered this code: "float[] v1=new float[10]" I need to use this pointer to pass to the function: "ComputeBuffer bufV1 = new ComputeBuffer(Context, ComputeMemoryFlags.ReadWrite | ComputeMemoryFlags.UseHostPointer, v1);" If i creat an array in F# like this: "let v1 = [| 1.0..10.0 |]" and call now the funaction like this: "let bufV1 = new ComputeBuffer(Context, ComputeMemoryFlags.ReadWrite ||| ComputeMemoryFlags.UseHostPointer, v1)" Is it an error?? How do i pass a pointer??

  Is there any function in Objective-C to print a list of elements as unordered HTML elements. For ex - [@"a--b-c---d" htmlList: @"--"] returns @ "ab-c-d" the "--" is the delimiter to seperate the string of elements. I have used NSSArray to store the input string and function componentsSeperatedByString:@"--" to get the elements. I'm familiar with send, but this doesn't seem to translate an array into an argument list. A parallel of what I'm looking for is the Javascript apply, which is equivalent to call but converts the array into an argument list.
