  • Printing fails after first print with Centos 6 and HP LaserJet P3015dn printer

    Centos 6 recognises and configures a HP LaserJet P3015dn printer connected via USB. This machine is being configured as a small group file/print server. I can print a test page, which is processed/printed correctly. The next time printing is attempted (say printing a second test page), the page is not printed and the printer is set to disabled. I went to create a new project using this pattern only now the immediate window says retPlatKeys is out of scope and hovering over retPlatKeys after loading I get something like retPlatKeys|0x0000000002578900. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    I am currently developing an application that uses chart control to create a histogram. The histogram displays data correctly however I would like to center the data. Right now the Min and Max are automatically set. I would like the graph to always force its to be displayed symmetrically. Here is an example of what I'm trying to accomplish. Basically I would like it to look like a normal distribution graph. Does anyone know how I can do the the following: Get the graph to be displayed symmetrically? Always show a zero line. I have the following methods that I store in the ASPUtilities class: getRoleGUID(guid userGuid) { LINQ joins } getRoleGuid(string userName) { LINQ joins } getRoleName(guid roleGuid) { LINQ joins } Thank you EDIT: I have just looked into extending SQLMembershipProvider examples. Few examples completely override the SQLMembershipProvider, but I think what I'm interested is just adding few extra methods to deal with the roles by using LINQ. Is this feasible?

I am trying to convert to from an item array to the list using the following piece of code: Item variationsFolder = masterDB.SelectSingleItem(VariationsFolderID.ToString()); List<Item> variationList = variationsFolder.GetChildren().ToList<Item>(); However I keep getting this error whenever I try to build: 'Sitecore.Collections.ChildList' does not contain a definition for 'ToList' and the best extension method overload 'System.Linq.Enumerable.ToList<TSource>(System.Collections.Generic.IEnumerable<TSource>)' has some invalid arguments I have the following usings: using System.Linq; using System.Xml.Linq; Am referencing: System.Core I've just copied this code from another location, so it should work fine, can only think that there is something simple (like a reference or something that I am missing).

    Hi I have included the Barchart using AchartEngine API .When I swap the orientation of the screen the yaxis value is altered as same values. For eg. initially it is (0,10) , (10,25) but after swapping its changes to (0,10), (10,10) i could not understand why it is happening . And I have place string in x axis instead of numbers , I used addtextlabel method but the string is overlapped on the number . I need to display only the names. could you help on this.   • JDBC/OSGi and how to dynamically load drivers without explicitly stating dependencies in the bundle?

    Hi, This is a biggie. I have a well-structured yet monolithic code base that has a primitive modular architecture (all modules implement interfaces yet share the same classpath). I realize the folly of this approach and the problems it represents when I go to deploy on application servers that may have different conflicting versions of my library. I'm dependent on around 30 jars right now and am mid-way though bnding them up. Now some of my modules are easy to declare the versioned dependencies of, such as my networking components. They statically reference classes within the JRE and other BNDded libraries but my JDBC related components instantiate via Class.forName(...) and can use one of any number of drivers. I am breaking everything up into OSGi bundles by service area. My core classes/interfaces. Reporting related components. Database access related components (via JDBC). etc.... I wish for my code to be able to still be used without OSGi via single jar file with all my dependencies and without OSGi at all (via JARJAR) and also to be modular via the OSGi meta-data and granular bundles with dependency information. How do I configure my bundle and my code so that it can dynamically utilize any driver on the classpath and/or within the OSGi container environment (Felix/Equinox/etc.)? Is there a run-time method to detect if I am running in an OSGi container that is compatible across containers (Felix/Equinox/etc.) ? Do I need to use a different class loading mechanism if I am in a OSGi container? Am I required to import OSGi classes into my project to be able to load an at-bundle-time-unknown JDBC driver via my database module? I also have a second method of obtaining a driver (via JNDI, which is only really applicable when running in an app server), do I need to change my JNDI access code for OSGi-aware app servers?

  • How do I set selection to Nothing when programming Excel using VBA?

    When I create a graph after using range.copy and range.paste it leaves the paste range selected, and then when I create a graph a few lines later, it uses the selection as the first series in the plot. I can delete the series, but is there a more elegant way to do this? I tried Set selection = nothing but it won't let me set selection. I also tried selection.clear, but that just cleared the last cells that were selected, and still added an extra series to the plot. Curt

Although it does work, I'm concerned that the numbers will get messed up under load. I'm not sure the @@IDENTITY will always return the right value when many people are using the system. (I cannot have duplicates and I need to use the numbering form show above.     I have a chart of bitcoin prices. I have the correct prices on the Y-axis, but I cannot get the correct time on the X-axis. The time shows up in a UTC format in my console.
