Panel visible=true has no effect

I have a Panel that I'm setting visible=true explicitly. The debugger passes over that line and visible still evaluates to False on the next line. Obviously as a result, the Panel is not shown. WPF, Image MouseDown Event

I have an control with a mouse down event where Id like to chnage the Image when the image is clicked. But I cant seem to alter ANY of the images properties in the event. Hi, I'm trying to draw an image in an ImageView, but i want it to be unscaled, with scrollbars as necessary. How can I accomplish this? Right now I just have a drawable set as the android:src of the ImageView in the XML. This autoscales the image to fit the screen width. I read that this might be because of the compatibility mode (developing for 1.5, testing on 2.1), but then I added <uses-sdk android:minSdkVersion="3" android:targetSdkVersion="4" /> to my manifest, and nothing changed. Any clues?

jQuery event.stopPropagation is not working on <a>

I have the following javascript: $('#ge-display').click(function (event) { window.open('/googleearth/ge-display.php','','scrollbars=yes,menubar=no,height=650,width=1000,resizable=yes,toolbar=yes,location=no,status=no'); event.stopPropagation(); return false; }); the element with id 'ge-display' is a standard link: <a href="/googleearth/ge-display.php" id="ge-display" target="_blank">Load Google Earth Plugin (in a new window)</a> The problem is - when I take out the 'return false;' line from the click event handler, the javascript popup opens, and then another browser window opens - I thought stopPropagation() would prevent the links own click handler? I've also tried stopImmediatePropagation() - but I still need to return false to stop the default behaviour of the link.

Custom View embed in Gallery crashes while key press

I have a fairly large CSS file developed by my web designer. There are, of course, plenty of IDs, classes and tag properties assigned therein. Are there any tools to automatically generate HTML based on a CSS source file? For example: #basicInfoHead{ background:url(../images/leftHeaders.jpg) no-repeat; margin-left: 0px; width:185px; height:28px; } #basicInfoHead span{ float: left; } Would generate <div id=basicInfoHead><span>#basicInfoHead span</span></div> Etc etc. From there, I could preview the generated code in my browser, and see what each of the individual (primarily text) styles would look like. Embedding Facebook in an IFrame

I have an app that has an IFrame with a page flash overly allowing you to draw on webpages. When I go to Facebook with the application, an overlay pops up covering everything at 50% opacity (Which is fine). The problem is that the overlay is all black in some installations of IE7. Can anyone advise on how to get around this? Hey all I am using a wpf slider to display the time line in a video player. I need to add an ItemControl of some sort on top of this so that I can add buttons on the time line on certain positions in the time line (the buttons will hold their own position relative to the parent ItemsControl). What ItemsControl container should I use where I can add child elements that know their own position (based on their timecode)? I have looked at the different ItemsControls in Wpf, and it looks like all of them have a certain way to stack their children (Horizontal or vertical one after another)! And to add some more complexity, How can the positioning of the children be relative to the width of the parent ItemsControl? This way scaling up and down the ItemsContol will reposition the children! Thanks

Attach data to Richtext using flex, mysql and php(newbie)

I'm trying to attach data to a richtext field in Flashbuilder. The data is an html string in a mysql database and I'm connecting using php. The php script is just converting to XML. The connection works because I can easily dump the data to a datagrid and I can see the string. when I try to hook the data to a Richtext field I get "object CallResponder" so I am connected, but I'm not sure how to break it down so that it is just an html string for the text field. Cross browser div center alignment using CSS

What is the easiest way to align a div whose position is relative horizontally and vertically using CSS ? The width and the height of the div is unknown, i.e. it should work for every div dimension and in all major browsers. I mean center alignment. I thought to make the horizontal alignment using: margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; like I did here. Is this a good cross browser solution for horizontal alignment ? Visual studio winform designer shows design errors as text rather than html

All of the sudden, visual studio displays designer errors as plain html text, for example: <DIV id="div1" class="ErrorStyle" width="100%"><span style="font-weight: 600"><br>Object reference not set to an instance of an object. </span><br><a href="" instead of displaying the usual html formatted. I haven't been able to find anything similar to it on google. Before getting this problem, when I tried opening the winform designer, I would get the run/save/cancel dialog of internet explorer for a .tmp file, instead of the designer window. That went away when I found out that I had notepad assigned to the .tmp file type and removed that. Any ideas how to fix this?

I do understand that to create a title border, you do something like: BorderFactory.createTitledBorder(" Your Title "); However this creates a rectangle border whereas I need a rectangle with curved corners. Now from what I understand you can create your own custom border by: class CustomBorder implements Border { ... } The problem is that I'm not sure how to write the code that overrides the method: public void paintBorder(Component component, Graphics g, int x, int y, int width, int height) Or better yet, is there a way to do it without implementing your own Border class? And if not, how would you write that custom Title Border? I'm ok with drawing a rectangle with rounded corners, but how do you do it so that there's space for the label too?

What is the bit size of long on 64-bit Windows?

Not to long ago someone told me that long are not 64 bits on 64 bit machines and i should always use int. This did not make sense to me. I seen docs (such as the one on apples official site) say that long are indeed 64 bits when compiling for a 64bit CPU. I looked up what it was on windows and found Windows: long and int remain 32-bit in length, and special new data types are defined for 64-bit integers. from http://www.intel.com/cd/ids/developer/asmo-na/eng/197664.htm?page=2 What should i use? should i define something like uw, sw ((un)signed width) as a long if not on windows. Otherwise do a check on the target CPU bitsize?

Miss a single tap randomly

The above code basically detects a single tap on a small image (width = 18 and height = 36). It works 90% of the time detecting a single tap. But it sometime misses it (randomly). I have to tap several times before it picks up the single tap. What did I do wrong or miss so I could consistently detect the single tap 100%? Thanks in advance for your help.
