• Using xsl:character-map on text nodes only

  I am trying to create a generic stylesheet that can convert all Latin characters in Unicode to uppercase ASCII characters. Using <xsl:character-map> works well except for one thing: namespaces. The character map converts all of my namespaces to upper case, which I do not want. Is there a way to utilize a character map to do what I want to all the other nodes while leaving the namespaces untouched? I see the disable-output-escaping attribute might be an option, but I haven't been able to make it work.

  In NHibernate you can map generics like this <class name="Units.Parameter`1[System.Int32], Units" table="parameter_int" > </class> But how can I map a class like this? Set<T> where T is a Parameter<int> like this Set<Parameter<int>> My mapping hbm.xml looking like this fails <class name="Set`1[[Units.Parameter`1[System.Int32], Units]],Units" table="settable"/> I simplified my mappings a little to get my point accross very clearly. Basically I want NHibernate to map generic class which has has generic type parameter. Want I understand from googling around is that NHibernate is not able to parse the name to the correct type in TypeNameParser.Parse() which result in the following error when adding the mapping to the configuration System.ArgumentException: Exception of type 'System.ArgumentException' was thrown. Parameter name: typeName@31 Anybody found a way around this limitation?

  I have the following test code use Data::Dumper; my $hash = { foo => 'bar', os => 'linux' }; my @keys = qw (foo os); my $extra = 'test'; my @final_array = (map {$hash->{$_}} @keys,$extra); print Dumper \@final_array; The output is $VAR1 = [ 'bar', 'linux', undef ]; Shouldn't the elements be "bar, linux, test"? Why is the last element undefined and how do I insert an element into @final_array? I know I can use the push function but is there a way to insert it on the same line as using the map command? Basically the manipulated array is meant to be used in an SQL command in the actual script and I want to avoid using extra variables before that and instead do something like: $sql->execute(map {$hash->{$_}} @keys,$extra);

  I am using javascript map to store keys and values.Later on I check if specified key is present in map or not, but it sometimes gives correct result but sometimes it dont.I tried to print the map using console.log(mapname), it shows all keys, but i i try to check if some specified key is presnt sometimes it gives wrong answer.   I want to create a C++ map where key is, say, int and value is a 2-D vector of double: map myMap; suppose I filled it and now I would like to update the second vector mapped by each key (for example divide each element by 2). How would I access that vector iteratively? The "itr-second[0]" syntax in the statement below is obviously wrong.   I have one Map that contains some names and numbers Map<String,Integer> abc = new TreeMap<String,Integer>(); It works fine. I can put some values in it but when I call it in different class it gives me wrong order. For example: I putted abc.put("a",1); abc.put("b",5); abc.put("c",3); some time it returns the order (b,a,c) and some time (a,c,b). What is wrong with it? Is there any step that I am missing when I call this map?

• ByPass credential prompting on drive map - windows server 2k3

  I have 2 windows server 2k3 machines - server A and server B, Server A is on the company domain, and Server B is not. I have a need to bypass the credential prompting that happens every time I map a drive from Server B to Server A. The reason i need to do this is that I'm running a program called SourceAnywhere on Server A that points to a VSS database on Server B. (SourceAnywhere solves the slowness issues that VSS http access has). While I can configure SourceAnywhere to point to this VSS database (after mapping drive and getting access), I cannot connect to the VSS database from my development machine - i get an error saying I can access database alias.. I'm thinking this might have to do with Server B prompting me for credentials from Server A since it isn't on the domain. Is there anyway to store these credentials? or do i need to get Server B added to the domain?

  I'm using libusb to find and access a USB device, but once I get the information I need from there, I need to map it to a /sys node. This could be to the actual USB bus it's on, the /sys/bus/usb-serial node (which is where I'm going to get eventually), or effectively anywhere else since I can walk the tree from there. I can get to a /dev/bus/usb node easily enough, but I'm a bit lost from there. What would be the best route to perform this mapping? Alternatively, a way to get the /dev/ttyUSB device node for a /dev/bus/usb node would work as well, since it gets me the same result.

• How to use private DNS to map private IP with "non registred" domain name

  I would like to use a private DNS (Route53 in our case) in order to map hosts to EC2 instance private IP addresse. The hosted zone we are using for testing is not declared in any registrar (company-test.com.). There are different servers (Nagios, Puppet, ActiveMQ ...) all hosted in ec2, that means their IP can change over time (restart, new instance launch...). That would be great if I can use DNS instead of clients' /etc/hosts for mapping private IP/internal domain name... The ActiveMQ server url is activemq.company-test.com and it maps to (A record) private IP address of the AMQ server. This url is only reachable by other ec2 owned by the same aws account. My question is how to configure ec2 instances so they could reach the ActiveMQ server WITHOUT having to buy a new domain company-test.com ?

  In my .vimrc, I defined this line: map ,ps <Esc>:!ps<Space>-a<CR> The mapping is set (which I controlled via :verbose map ,ps while inside vim). There is nothing else mapped to the comma. However, if I type the command in command mode, nothing is displayed in the status bar, the comma is ignored, the p movement and the s insert are triggered. (I.e., VIM reacts, as if there was no command ,ps.) Is there any magic that I have overlooked in enabling comma-started mapped commands?

  I have configured an Ubuntu 10.04 box to connect to our domain (Windows 2003 R2) using Likewise-Open. All the users can authenticate as expected. However, the domain administrators do not have administrative privileges to the machine. After working at this for a few hours, I've determined what I think may be a solution: if I map the 'Domain Admins' group from the Active Directory into the local 'admin' group, the users should get the appropriate permissions. But I have no idea how to do that. Does this even sound like the correct approach? A similar question was asked on StackOverflow and then migrated here. But it was never answered as it was recommended to be asked here instead. Thanks in advance!

• Map specific keys in emacs - Ubuntu

  On my Mac, I have remapped the capslock key to be another Ctrl, and the key to the right of control to be M (meta?). It was real easy, the capslock was in sys prefs, and the M key was a pref in terminal. I cannot figure out how to do it on my Ubuntu 10.10 computer though. There was no remap capslock that I could find under any of the three keyboard pref menu items, and there are no prefs under the terminal that I can find. Can someone advise? I want the windows key on the keyboard to be M, if that matters. tl;dr; Ubuntu 10.10: Map capslock as Ctrl and Windows key as Meta (emacs) Thanks! Now I have a blog from wordpress.com and I wanted to map domain to www.88.example.com.br. The wordpress suggested to use this: 88.example.com.br IN CNAME example88.wordpress.com. • Web map services displaying poorly

  Web map services no longer display correctly in ArcGIS and Google Earth - no one else on network is experiencing these. Using windows 7 OS. These problem began abruptly (1 day they were working, the next they were not). Specific problems include not displaying at all; correct display on 10% of the monitor and repeating lines of coloured squiggles and text on the remaining 90%; and small, widely spaced, pixels in place of colour fill. • Setting nagios location in map

  I have Nagios installed and I'm working on getting the network map correct. The problem I have is that "Nagios" appears to be in the "internet" when it should be located on the MechNAS server. What I want is Nagios Process to show up inside the local network. So it should show up at the same layer as MechNAS and development. Where exactly is that configured? I didnt see any place to set that up and it looks now like it's out there on it's own. Documentation and Googling didnt seem to turn up anything either.

I have a page similar to this http://www.gorissen.info/Pierre/maps/googleMapLocationv3.php where a user can add markers by clicking on the map. I'd also like to show a count of all the markers.   Any options out there? Google Static Maps with SSL (HTTPS) is only available to Premier members. Bing's Open Map API seems to have the same restricts. Any other ideas? I'm debating whether to schedule a cronjob to wget over http and dump the images I need into a folder (named after the content object IDs that reference them), but I'd rather find a free map API (or something less klugey) that supports HTTPS requests.
