What if I just want the variable names without their values? Or, can I print each one on a separate line, tabbed-in depending on depth?

    How I can setup my rails app to respond to such urls: http://mydomain.com/white-halogene-lamp http://mydomain.com/children-lamps http://mydomain.com/contact-form The first one should link to my products controller, and show my product with this name The second one should link to my categories controller, and show the category with this name The third one should link to my sites controller, and show the site with this title. All three models (product, category, site) have a method to_seo, giving the mentioned above urls (after the slash) I know it's not the restful way, but please don't disuss here, it is wrong approach or not, that's not the question. The question is how to accomplish this weird routing ? I know we have catch all routes, but how I can tell rails to use different controllers on different urls in the catch all route ? Or have You an better idea ? I would avoid redirects to other urls.

Sadly, following happens: The input <root><c/></root> gets transformed to <root><c><c/></root> I know, from XML point of view, these are equal trees, but not for a human ;) What can I do to get the same output? FYI: I need a XMLEvent[Reader|Writer] pair later to filter "XML events".

    I'm using org.w3c XML API to open an existing XML file. I'm removing some nodes , and I'm adding others instead . The problem is that the new nodes that are added are written one after another , with no newline and no indentation what so ever. While it's true that the XML file is valid , it is very hard for a human to examnine it. Is there anyway to add indentation , or at least a newline after each node ?

    I want to print out a web page that seems to be unprintable in both Firefox and Chrome. It is multiple pages but when I print it out in Firefox and Chrome, they only print the first page. The only way I have found to print out the page is to print it in IE in XPS Document Writer format. Is there a tool (e.g., web browser or web browser plugin) that will help? Or is there a setting I can use in Firefox or Chrome?

    My problem is exactly this same as described here: Server 2008 R2 - Unable to install any printer drivers Options - google groups I have few Windows 2008 R2 (no SP1) servers in remote offices, mostly in Domain Controller, and many of them have problems installing ANY printer drivers. following errors show up in Event Log when adding printer driver under Print and Document Services/Print Management/Print Services/ /Drivers OR trying any other way to install drivers: EventID 215: Installing printer driver - failed, error code 0x57, HRESULT 0x80070057. See the event user data for context information. EventID 215: Installing printer driver Canon iR C2380/2550 PCL6 failed, error code 0x0, HRESULT 0x80070057. See the event user data for context information. in this particular server case this is problem with Canon iRC 2380i printer with Canon Generic PCL6 Driver, but it seems to apply to any driver and any printer (tried different drivers, different versions, PCL, postscript, etc) I'm using 64 bit drivers that should be working on this platform. Any help will be appreciated.

  • Why is my Current Printer unavailable in Office ?

    Whenever I try to print any document from Microsoft Office 2007 in Windows Vista 64-bit there is a great possibility that the print job will fail with the following error message: Current printer is unavailable. Select another printer. Only problem is no printer works, not even Bullzip PDF Printer. The only way to resolve this that I have found so far is a reboot, but I don't want to do that all the time. I am using Windows Vista 64-bit. I've had the problem using both SP1 and SP2. The problem occurs on both locally installed and network printers, as well as the virtual printer Bullzip PDF Printer. My primary source of the problem has been Excel, but the error has also occurred in Word. Changing the default printer and restarting the Microsoft Office-application solves this temporarily, but not permanently. Google:ing the error message returns a lot of questions but no solutions, so seems like a frequent problem. What could be a permanent solution for this problem? UPDATE: It seems that my problem stems from me opening MS Office applications by opening a document from Total Commander with administrative rights. This somehow makes the applications not find the printers. Opening MS Office applications either from the Start menu or by opening a document in a non-administrator Explorer allows me to print.

    I had set up a newly purchased HP F4488 using HPLIP, I installed it on my Fedora 10 desktop and it worked fine for the past 2 days. Suddenly, it is failing to print. The scanner works and the photocopier works. When a print job is initialized there is an error and the printer gets disabled. What is the problem? Is there anything that I should fix additionally to make it work?

  • Xerox phaser 7760 prints gray as pink.

    I have a Xerox phaser 7760 and 60 iMacs that dual boot xp and osx 10.5. They print without problem to other printers, but if you print to the 7760 anything gray scale comes out with a pink tint. This happens from all 60 computers windows or mac boot from any application. I have reinstalled the driver and run the color balance on the printer. The printer does fine on internal prints of gray for diagnostic pages. Any ideas on how to solve this?

    I bought a Canon MF3200 and used it on an old Windows laptop. The laptop broke, and now I'm trying to setup the printer on a laptop with Windows 7. I downloaded the new driver, and Windows was able to install it and mark it "Ready to Go." But whenever I try to print, an error comes up and it doesn't print. I tried to troubleshoot, to no avail. What else can I do? Any ideas on what the error might be?

There is a Windows 2011 Small Business Server running as print server and 2 computers in the network their print spooler keeps crashing at random. The log files says it is ntdll.dll that has a fault. We can also print from other computers. But on two computers the print spooler crashes. Sometimes it crashes after a user is logged in, but it also happened multiple times after a print job. After each crash we get the same ntdll.dll error. Hopefully someone can help me with this problem. If you need more information, don't hesitate to ask.

  • Inter-vlan routing issues

    I've been brought in to help administer a network and I've run into an issue - I'm not sure why this one is beyond me, however I figure an extra set of eyes on the problem may help resolve the issue. I have an HP MSM720 controller and at the time I'm trying to set up a basic hotspot set up with access points. For the time being I'm just looking to have people authenticate with a PSK and access the internet and other resources (namely printers) on other vlans. The user authenticates and the DHCP server on the controller gives them a 192.168.1.0/24 address. They are able to successfully browse the internet and ping machines on other networks, however they are unable to print to network printers that sit on the same LANs as the very computers that wireless clients can ping. The (extremely simplified) topology is as follows Computers on the wireless 192.168.1.1 network are able to ping computers on the 192.168.0.0 network, however cannot ping or print to the printers on the same network. I'm baffled and I have no idea why this is the case. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Can someone spot the error of my configuration? EDIT : It should be noted that for whatever reason other computers on the 10.0.100.0/24 network cannot even ping the gateway of the Wireless Access network (192.168.1.1) - I'm not sure if this is relevant. These are the VLANS listed on the controller.

    On our 2003 Terminal Servers I am able to view any auto-created printers for users connected to that server, however on a new 2008 R2 RDS server I can only view local printers and my own auto-created printer(s). I have local and domain admin privileges. Is there something I need to change to be able to view all client printers? Is it possible? I have had a look for permissions relating to this but couldn't really find much that looked relevant.

    Question: What I need to do is have a permanent link to a printer, normally only accessible through Terminal Services (Printer Redirect), to allow Sage Line 50 layouts to see that printer persistently, even after users have disconnected and reconnected to the Terminal Services session? Although the printer is accessible each time a user connects to the Sage Server via Terminal Services, it is given a different session number and therefore the Sage Layout sees it as a different printer. History behind question: Users using Terminal Services connecting to a Sage Server on a different site Using Sage Line 50 v 15 on that Server Users want to print invoices (sage layouts) locally Sage Server cannot see the users local printers, to get around this user uses the Print redirect features of Terminal Services The individual reports can be edited to point to a specific printer by default. This means the user just has to select an invoice and click print, then select the layout/report wanted and it auto prints that invoice to the default printer specified. The problem occurs because the layouts are edited to point to the users local printer "Ricoh 1018d (session#)", note the "(session#)" as this is the users local printer being redirected through the terminal services session. Users are able to print using the sage layouts once the default printer is setup within the layout and saved, but as soon as the users disconnects from the Terminal Services session and then reconnect in the morning go to print, it has lost the connection to that printer. I understand why its failed, because that the printer is on a per session basis and the layout would not be able to hold on to the connection from a previous session.     This package has a printer function for documents which always brought up the printer selection box from which one picked the appropiate printer. Now recently,almost certainly as a result of windows updates, when I select PRINT nothing happens. The printer is working fine, and indeed a 'direct print' option to the default printer which is a matrix printer works fine, as it does not invoke the printer selection process. Does anyone know if there is a particular setting which might be causing this to happen. It works fine still on all previous windows versions XP etc, but will not work on Vista or later versions.   • Remote desktop to particular server tries to send print job

    We have a domain network with about 30 computers and an active directory on Windows Server SBS 2003 32bit. Whenever I connect to this server from my Windows 7 Pro 32bit client, it automatically attempts to send some sort of print job. It fails to print however and the printer never seems to receive the job. I have been seeing this happen on every computer which connects to this particular server. It seems to send these print jobs repeatedly, and to different printers, if more than one are installed. As soon as I cancel one print job, it starts another, repeats a few times and finally stops. What could be going on here? PS - I originally thought this was related to MS OneNote but this turns out to happen on computers which do not have OneNote.
