    I am talking about synchronous on the client side. That means, the service requester is blocking after sending a message to the service. my question is: is it related to the -a -s parameter of wsdl2java tool, Since -a generate async style code and -s generate sync style code. Or the client side blocking or not is totally controlled by the client logic? Thanks

    In Photoshop you can adjust the hue, saturation and lightness of an image with three sliders. ImageMagick you can modulate the brightness, saturation, and hue. Minimizing the saturation correctly produces a black and white image in both programs. Maxing out the saturation appears close, but ImageMagick appears to soften some of the blown out edges while Photoshop will expose more the the compression artifacts. How can I accurately reproduce Photoshop's saturation changes from within ImageMagick, or other command line tool.

    I'm looking for a way to do something analogous to the MySql dump from SQL Server. I need to be able to pick the tables and export the schema and the data (or I can export the schema via SQL Server Management Studio and export the data separately somehow). I need this data to be able to turn around and go back into SQL Server so it needs to maintain GUIDs/uniqueidentifiers and other column types. Does anyone know of a good tool for this?

    I would like to make server that listen on UDP port 162 (SNMP trap) and then forwards this traffic to multiple clients. Also important is that the source port & address stays same (address spoofing). I guess that best tool for this would be Twisted or Scapy or mybe vanilla sockets, only I can't find anything in the documentation for Twisted about source address spoofing/forging.     I generated a build file for an Android project using the android tool (Im using the build file in Hudson to automate builds). However, in Eclipse the build.xml file is flagged as having an error so my project no longer builds in Eclipse - it says that the default target ("help") doesn't exist (its in one of the Android build files referenced in build.xml and copmmand-line builds work just fine). So what do I need to do to keep Eclipse quiet?

I've tried with pack, sprinft, hexdec, but nothing worked (couldn't find typecasting in hex) Thanks

    I'm using BitConverter.ToInt32 to pack 3 byte values into an int, like so: byte R = 0; byte G = 0; byte B = 0; int i = BitConverter.ToInt32(new byte[] { R, G, B, 0 }, 0); Is there a faster way to do this that doesn't involve the creation of a new int each time? Getting the bytes out of an int is easy: int i = 34234; byte B = (byte)(i >> 0); byte G = (byte)(i >> 8); byte R = (byte)(i >> 16); Is there a simple way to reverse this process and use bit-shifting to write the RGB bytes back over an existing int?
