  • Export google document as csv without quotation marks

    I have a google document spreadsheet that I want to export as csv. The problem is, that some cell get their content included on quotation marks: 1,1,"I don't want quote",Mee too but I'm lucky,1 To avoid this issue, I usually re-edit the field on google document until the export excludes the quotation marks (I don't know why or when they are included). I've tried with format but apparently it doesn't help. What should I do?

  • XP Missing AD in secuirity location

    I have a few Window XP clients that are part of a domain, when trying to set the permissions on the security tab and pressing location to search the AD for users it only presents the local machine... So I follow this path Right click folder Properties Security Add in the locations field where I would normally see the windows domain, I am only seeing the local machine name??? So only users that have a local account can be added to the folders permissions... Any tips would be appreciated

    I am trying to install fast-cgi for nginx on an EC2 instance. I followed the steps explained here, but that is meant for Debian and does not work out of the box for a red-hat based system. If I run service php-fcgi start & and then ps aux, I see the php-cgi process running bound to the socket. I see the start command stop only when I execute service php-fcgi stop. How do I solve this blocking issue? I have tried adding an & at the end of the line spawning the daemon. But other scripts do not seem to be doing this. This is the most complicated script I am attempting to modify yet :-( How do I get the script to display the green [ OK ]? I checked scripts like httpd and saw that all they were doing was something as shown below. But I never see a green [ OK ] when I execute php-fcgi. I also discovered that putting echo_success with functions sourced displays the green [ OK ] but I do not see any other scripts in the /etc/rc.d/init.d/ executing echo_success or echo_failure.   • Ubuntu hardware wireless switch has no effect after suspend and 13.10 upgrade

This question has an answer urging to install the original driver, but it wasn't an "accepted answer" so I'd rather not take a chance on it.   • Laptop automatic shutdown after 2 seconds

    I'm trying to insvestigate which component produces this behavior. Other indications show it may be the GPU but I wonder if anyone knows more. It's a Toshiba Satellite X200 description: AC power shows the power being fed normally, when turned on the fan works and it appears to be starting up but after 2 seconds it shuts down with only the 'AC power connected" led on. -- seconds are about up to 4,maybe not 2 exactly.

    When I play any high-end game like NFS Most Wanted or FIFA 12, I get these weird things on my graphics. While playing NFS, my car has various transparent diamonds all over its body, and while playing FIFA I get these weird black lines all over the field.     I have the following backup batch file: xcopy C:\test.txt \server\Data\user\"data test" /e /y /i The issue is why does it not only copy the file listed but proceeds to copy the whole root directory? When i remove the switches it only copies the file. There is nothing in the description of those switches that seems to cause the behavior... They are there because I'm picking up where someone else left and all the batch files use these 3 switches. Thanks

  • Password manager bug with Firefox 3.6.13

    I'm having trouble with the latest Firefox (3.6.13) password manager. For a website I'm working on, it doesn't fill the password field for any login credential saved. I've looked into the options "Saved passwords" list and they are all there with the correct passwords. I thought at first that the website was blocking this feature in some way, but the password managers in Chrome (on the same Windows 7 machine) and Iceweasel (in a virtual Debian 6 machine) work well. Any idea about what could cause this problem?

  • How to define a table so it shows on every page, but doesn't interfere with editing?

    I need a table in Word 2007, which needs to be on every page of the document. It is actually not a table per se, but a frame with three columns. The problem is it cannot interfere with editing, so I'm trying to avoid just inserting a lot of tables, and for now am using a made up table, made of lines, which I've putted in header field over the entire page. Is there a better way to do it then this?

  • MySQL database Int overflow and can’t login in.

    I have a MySQL database on my server and I"m pretty sure it's an int over flow on one table with an auto_increment field that's crashing it. I can delete the table, it's not very important, but I can't get into the server. Is there anyway to delete that database from the file system or without logging into MySQL? HELP! THE WORLD IS ENDING!

    I've just started using selinux in the last 6 months and am getting to grips with it. However, using sealert on a new CENTOS 6 server, Im not getting the level of detail I was with CENTOS 5.   • Can only bring up one of two interfaces

    I'm having a bizarre issue with my HP Proliant DL 360 G4p server. It has two gigabit ethernet interfaces but I can bring up only one of them. This is starting to freak me out and that's why I turned here. I'm running the x64 ubuntu 11.10 server edition. lshw -c network shows that the second interface is disabled. For clarity, I have added a masked version of /etc/network/interfaces.     There's a rumour that public domain name resolvers, like Google Public DNS, are still supposed to work with GeoDNS, because there's some field in the requests that lets them specify for which IP address they are doing a resolution, thus the authoritative servers can give a given resolver different resolutions for different final clients. What's this whole thing called as far as RFCs go, and how does one mimic such resolutions, for testing purposes, e.g. with dig(1)? Else, what other tool is available to accomplish said task?

    At work (Exchange server) our team often needs to send emails to 500+ partners. It's currently a very dull job, so I've tried the merge features in Office 2007. However, it can't: Include a merge field in the subject ("Regarding your account: ") Send to semi-colon separated addresses (one line might be "[email protected];[email protected];[email protected]") Send from a particular mailbox account, and store all the sent mails in Outlook. Can anyone recommend any free/affordable software which will work with Exchange and can be used commercially?

    Is it possible to set up a distro list on an exchange server to send a blind copy to one of the recipients? For example: I'd like to have a distro go to Help, Support, and IT. However, I don't want the sender to know it goes to Help if they expand the distro in the To: field. I know this is most likely impossible, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.

  • SNMP Traps: Telling the difference between sources

    I am logging all incoming SNMP traps to file, for further processing, via: snmptrapd -Lf /path/to/my/file.log So this will log all traps coming in on port 162. Is there a way I can tell the differences between different sources, i.e vendors. I believe this would be the "OID" field but i'm unsure. Any thoughts would be welcomed, if not I will just have to use a lookup with IP addresses, but I'm sure I saw that there is a unique part to each vendor. Cheers

If the ratio is better then BitTorrent Network provides you services on priority.   • Recompile PHP5.3 with mysqlnd on Debian Squeeze?

    My current PHP5.3 installation was compiled with libmysql by default. To run certain mysqli functions, I need the mysqlnd library, but I can't seem to find a step by step guide giving proper description how to recompile PHP 5.3 on Debian 6 with custom settings. All I found was the configuration parameter on the PHP.net manual (http://php.net/manual/en/mysqlinfo.library.choosing.php) saying that this is a compile time decision: $ ./configure --with-mysqli=mysqlnd --with-pdo-mysql=mysqlnd --with-mysql=mysqlnd Any ideas how to do it?     I have an Transcend pendrive, and when I connect it and double click it to explore, it is showing the error: Please insert a disk into drive Also In the properties field it is showing File system- Unknown Used space- 0 bytes free space- 0 bytes capacity- 0 bytes I tried to format it using using the command prompt but it is not showing in the list disk command. It is also not showing in the Disk Management.
