  I was wondering how could I sync the emails between two accounts? I know I can forward them to one of the email accounts but that is not how I want it. Both emails account should have the same email from the same person and their status such as read/unread status synced.

  "Routers do not forward packets with link-local addresses." says Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Link-local_address) What I want to know is: that makes sense if the destination is a link-local address, but what if I have a box that only has a link-local address trying to reach a global/site scope address? Can the traffic make it back, or will that fail because the return packets will be to a link-local address?

  Does anyone know how to change the default search provider in IE8 Via Group Policy? IE7 seemed to work okay but once I rolled out the IE8 browser update via WSUS, it defaults back to Bing search on all clients which is done Via group policy. I have found some people making custom adm templates to change this behavior on Google but I cannot get a strait forward answer.

  I accidentally changed the ownership of the /bin, /boot, /etc and /dev recursively to nobody:nogroup using chown when I misplaced a forward slash! How can I resort the original file ownerships? I've managed to get them all to root:root but I'm not sure if all the files should be owned by root and if this will break something? Is they are option to fix file permissions like there is in OS X? Help!

  I'm using windows XP with Lotus Notes 6.5. Notice windows clock time is correct until I open lotus notes and my time clock changed forward. I corrected the time and it's ok but until I open Lotus Notes again and the problem comeback.

  I have a mailbox that receives bounces as well as normal email (the latter includes messages from automated services). I want to filter out the bounces and forward them to another mailbox. Assume I cannot change the envelope return path in email I send. Is “null return path” a reliable criterion to tell bounces from normal mail? Roughly how many false positives and false negatives can I expect if I apply it?

• Forwarding all received mail to another server in Exchange 2007

  Hi, We are moving away from our Exchange environment on a hosted server to one managed in-house, and I was wondering how to have the hosted Exchange forward all email received to the new server - the servers are not on the same network, and both have the same users setup. Basically, I just need the hosted Exchange to act as a dumb relay - accept the mail, send it straight on to our new server without trying to deliver locally. Is this possible? Regards Moo

  Bit of a newb using *nix (I'm actually using a bash shell in OS X 10.5) and I wondered what the probably very simple answer is to this... When I write a script (called, say, my_script) and I've saved it to the current directory, why do I have to put a period and a forward slash in front of its name to run it? Like this: ./my_script Can't the shell tell that I want to run it from the current directory? Windows seems to handle that situation. Cheers Ben

  I have a Kinesis keyboard that I ideally like to use by placing it on top of my laptop. When I do that, I wind up pressing keys on the built-in keyboard with my external keyboard. I've been playing around with the GUI keyboard controls and reading the ubuntu forums for a couple hours without really any forward progress.   Like the Topic says: Our Exchange Server accidentally forwards sent mails from one User to another User's Inbox. The sent mails are mostly to Outbound Adresses and they where successfully delivered but all those sent Mails are accidentally forwarded into our Info Mail account. There are no Outlook rules defined and the forward routing in exchange is not used, for such things. I really don´t know the cause of the problem and i don´t know where I have to look, because I´m new to exchange...

  How do I check to see if port forward is enabled with one of my dynamic tunnels on this device? I'm having trouble using a feature in our software that requires a vpn to be used. My firewalls shows it as connected but I'm unable to ping the subnet ip. This is annoying because, for instance, I have the forward and back buttons, as well as the side scroll set up for weapon selection in some games, and if the proper profile isn't selected before starting the game, none of it works. • Rewriting URL for tomcat through an apache AJP connector.

  I've tried several attempts to resolve this, but all have come up naught. Currently I have apache setup to forward all urls at and past the /portal/ tag to tomcat. Unfortunately, tomcat receives these requests through /portal/appName, a subdirectory in webapps rather than the webapps root directory where my wars are deployed. Is there a simple solution to this that I'm not seeing? I've been trying to use mod_rewrite to ^/portal/ $ / but that doesn't yield the expected results (perhaps I'm doing this wrong?).

  I recently bought a second monitor and hooked it to my laptop. I like to put the monitor in portrait mode when coding and i can do this with igfx but i was wondering if there was a way to make a keyboard shortcut that will rotate my display 270 degrees and change my wallpaper to one that fits the 1050 X 1680 portrait resolution, and then have a key that rotates back to normal and resets my wallpaper?
