  • rails gem share_counts GET method on object?

    created the first rails app! excinting! for two weeks now I did Zombie, rubymonk etc. I love it! I used scaffold form url:string and included the gem share_counts. rails c: f = form.first ShareCounts.twitter f.url works! but... I have trouble to write the controller and the view! For you experienced railies this is probably a silly question, and probably only 5 lines of code, but for me thats a big step learning RoR! I am very thankful if someone could help how I can show the count next to the "url" field. Thank you so much!!! joh

The code will use system installation cabal as any Haskell library. A library is released with cabal has a meta data file where there is a logical predicate from the libraries and their versions. A developer usually uses one set libraries. It tediously care a set of the sets libraries. How to know either my library is compiled successfully or not for some subset libraries?

  • can't get pingfm class work (ruby)

    I have simple code from Ping.fm Ruby Client/Library require 'pingfm' pingfm = Pingfm::Client.new('api_key', 'user_app_key') but it gives me uninitialized constant Pingfm (NameError) pingfm gem is installed, just there was this error message Could not find main page README during installation.     I'm attempting to write a custom MarkupExtension to make my life easier by giving me a better way to specify bindings in XAML. However I would like to know if there is any way I can access the object that represents the file the MarkupExtension is used in. In other words, suppose I have a UserControl that defines a particular rendition of a data model of my program. This control has lots of visual stuff like grids, borders and general layout. If I use my MarkupExtension on a particular property of some element in this UserControl, I want to access the instance of the UserControl, without knowing what type it is (I plan on using reflection). Is this at all possible?

    I use cocos2d for my game. In which I play a movie and have a separate overlay view for controls.The touches are detected in the overlay view. Now when the touches are detected the function in the game code has to be invoked. But the function is not detected and there is no error. I dont know what has gone wrong. Someone please help me. When you click on a div element, an alert popup will show the number of the div element you clicked on (i.e. if a user clicks on the div element labeled '4', the alert popup should show the number 4). The alert popup instead shows the number 10 regardless of which div element is clicked on. How can I modify this code to make it behave in the desired way?

But now I have to find a solution to get it work on a local file (file:///C:/xampp/htdocs/script/index.html) instead on a server. It only works in FF: $.getJSON('data2.json', function(data) { $.each(data.selection_form.entities, function(i,name){ ...do something }); }); Any ideas? A local webserver is not a solution.
