  • OpenGLES iPhone Depth Blending problem

    Hi, I am trying to make an OpenGLES 2.0 cube application. The idea was to have a texture (with an alpha 75%) applied to all 6 faces of the cube. This would mean that even if I rotate the cube i would be able to see all 6 faces at any given frame. Now I have enabled depth test(my app needs this!!) and blending. The Depth func is LEQUAL and blend func is SRC_ALPHA, ONE_MINUS_SRC_ALPHA. Now, the issue is that at some cube faces don't show the underlying faces. I am not able to understand this because the logic works fine with the other cube faces. Just for the record, I have disabled CULL_FACE. Thanks in advance. Regards, Puzzler

  • Problem running VBScript from my UIAccess VB app using MSScriptControl

    I'm trying to run some VBSCRIPT from within my application. This works fine when I run my program from within VB. But once I add "UIAccess=true" to my manifest and digitally sign my exe with my certificate, I am unable to run the code any more. It gives errors when I try to interface with any program saying "429: ActiveX component can't create object: 'myApp.Application'". Anyone have any idea why it would run fine in the IDE but not with an application with uses UIAccess?     Hello, I'm reading an xml file from resources, that file contains a list of travel agencies location and adresses and i'm trying to put this list after parsing in an arraylist to use it with maps. So each time I use agencies.add(agency) it adds it to the array but also changes all previous items with the new value.     i'm terrible at math. trust me, you math experts will see why after reading my question. i have an object that is 300px in height. i need to calculate the percentage of that height where 90% = 300px (or the full height), 45% = 150px, 0% = 0px. so essentially, if i ask for 45% of the object's height, it will return 150px, or if i ask for 32% of the object's height, it will return __? i believe this is really basic math, so i apologize in advance.

  • Problem with using Jquery.ajax over .load on Zend

    Right now, what i'm trying to do is to replace a label on the front page with a block of html. Right now, the page basically has: <label id="replace"></label> the js currently has: $(document).ready(function(){ $("#replace").load('/test'); }); the Zend class function has: public function indexAction(){ $this->_helper->layout()->disableLayout(); $this->_view->message = "This is from TestController index"; } and finally the index.phtml template simply has: <?php echo $this->message;?> Right now, I want to change the code around so that instead of just replacing that label with the same message, it would do a POST where the function will pull out a parameter, do something (like for instance, go to the database and pull something out with the POST parameter) and then return the message. I've tried editing the js so that it would look like: $.post('/test', {param : "test_param"}, function(data) {$("#replace").html(data);}); or $.ajax({ type: 'POST', url: '/test', data: "{param:test_param}", contentType: "application/json; charset=utf-8", dataType: "json", success: function(data) {$("#replace").html(data);} }); and neither worked. I took a step back and tried to replicate the .load functionality and do: $.ajax({ url: '/test', success: function(data) { $('#replace').html(data); alert('Load was performed.'); } }); and it doesn't work either. Anyone have any tips on how to go about doing this?

I hope my jsp page can behave like this: if menu data has not changed since last time I visited the page, just use browser's cache otherwise load from database... How can I do it?
