  I have an assembly which I need to GAC on aSharePoint box which I do not have access to. I am however, able to deploy .dwp or .webpart files to the site. There is already a entry in the SafeControls list for this assembly in the web.config file for the site. Am I able to deploy the assembly through a web part?

  How come App_Code is not a choices in the Add ASP.NET Folder submenu in the VS solution explorer? I realize you can create one yourself manually by just renaming a New Folder, but what is the rational here? Is this not where you are supposed to put "utility" or "service layer" type classes? On a MVC project side note. I do like the fact that there is a reference to System.Configuration out-of-the-box unlike the default ASP.NET Web Form Projects.

  Hi All, I am using autocomplete with scrollbar for my textbox. Autocomplete for touch screen. I can scroll up and down using the mouse wheel but i want to Use the mouse button to scroll up or down by dragging the scroll bar. if i use mouse button it moves the focus away from the text box field. Autocomplete is working only when using the keyboard not with the user defined keys. Geetha

  Hi all, I'm using the MessageBox class to show errors to users, and while that might not be the right behavior, it's very convenient. This is a touchscreen application, however, so I need the 'ok' button to be much larger than it is (curse my inordinately large fingers!). I think that if I increase the font size in the dialog box, I should be ok. Is there a way to do that? Or really, is there any way to increase the dialog size? Thanks

It seems from all that I read and watched, exposing JSON from a WCF Data Service should be as easy as adding the '[JSONPSupportBehavior]' directive in front of the Service Class.   There is a build / version number automatically increasing with Publish for ClickOnce applications. This version number is different from the assembly version in the project properties (which in turn is automatically displayed in a generated WPF about box). Is there a way to sync the ClickOnce version number and the project number in the assembly properties? Goal is to get an automatically increasing and identical version number for both places.
