  • C# - How to prevent fullscreen form covering the taskbar?

    Hello. Does anyone know how I can prevent my C# winform covering/going on top of the taskbar? My form's border style has been set to "FixedToolWindow" which seems to cause this. I thought about reducing the height of the form, when the user makes the form maximized, but that wouldn't work as people may have different size taskbars. Any ideas? Thanks.

  • Control third check box based on the state of the first two using jquery

    I have three check boxes and need to disable the third if either and/or of the other two are checked. I'm sure there's a easier way than what I have currently. It's turning into what I believe is a mess and I'm hoping that someone with more jquery knowledge can shine the light here. I don't understand why. This works, but one of the requirements is that a non programmer should be able to edit and maintain this. Ideally it'd be great if he could just add new check boxes to the html and it would work. The class for these are define and as far as I know can't be changed. The last check box in the list of check boxes will disable if any of the ones above are selected. Like wise if the last check box is selected, it will disable all the ones above it. I haven't even begun writing and testing that portion as this is quickly becoming too complicated for a non programmer to handle. I myself am more of a PHP coder than a js, let alone jquery, coder. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • list box items context menu WPF

    hey guys, I have list box that contains UserControl as item template the user control contains few text blocks in a grid, the thing is that I want to add context menu to my user control that will show on the list item right click but currently only right clicking the textbox inside the user control triggers the context menu appearance clicking the spaces between those textboxes triggers nothing, any idea about how can I trigger the context menu from the container list box?   • Regular Expressions: Positive Lookahead and Word Border question

    Hello again Stackoverflow people! Assume I have these words: smartphones, smartphone I want to match the substring "phone" from within them. However, in both case, I want only "phone" to be returned, not "phones" in the first case. In addition to this, I want matches only if the word "phone" is a suffix only, such that: fonephonetics (just an example) is not matched. I assumed that the regex (phone([?=s])?)\b would give me what I need, but it is currently matching "phones" and "phone", but not the "fonephonetics" one. I don't need "phones". I want "phone" for both cases. Any ideas about what is wrong, and what I can do? Thank you in advance!

  • Sifr & Colorbox: strange gap in border of colorbox

    There seems to be a strange gap on the left side of the colorbox when it's laying over a Sifr element.   • Scroll an input box to the cursor position in javascript

    I've written a simple JS function that places the cursor at the end of the contents of an input box when it receives focus (the most common action in the box being to append). I haven't checked in IE, but when there is more text than is visible, even moving the cursor to the end of input doesn't scroll the view to the end of input in firefox 3.6. Any idea how to do this? P.S. And no I'm not using JQuery, nor is it an option ;)
