    Hi, I am a newbie to Flex and programming. I am trying something where I have 2 Numeric Steppers. One numeric stepper holds values from 0-230 and the other from 0.00-0.99. My question is how to change the value of the first numeric stepper when the second numeric stepper goes from 0.99 to 0.00. Suppose the first numeric stepper has a value 10 and the second numeric stepper is being incremented continuously. As it reaches 0.99 and on mouse up on the up arrow, 10 should change to 11 and this numeric stepper goes to 0.00. Could anyone help me out with some code or suggestion? Thanks is advance, REDDY

    I'm dynamically creating DataGrid columns (based on an event from my ViewModel) and programmatically adding them to an existing DataGrid. Each column uses a generic HeaderTemplate by setting it to a DataTemplate that has been identified in the xaml. The DataTemplate contains two labels in which needs their content needs to be changed upon creation of the DataGrid column. How would this be done? I understand that the DataTemplate uses the ContentPresenter but I am having trouble accessing it within a dynamically created DataGrid column.     I recently moved a friends blog onto his new web hosts but unfortunately the images are not working. This is due to the old host having the following path for images: http://www.example.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/imagename.jpg The new host uses a different layout and has this path for the file: http://www.example.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/imagename.jpg 'Blog' has been removed. Does anyone know the easiest way to fix this issue?

    When using VirtualTreeView drag operation by default is [doCopy,doMove]. Move operation is indicated by arrow pointer with small box and Copy operation is indicated by same pointer icon but with added [+] next to it. By default VT uses copy operation and if you press modifier key (SHIFT key) it modifies operation to move therefore removing the [+] from pointer. Here is what I need: reverse the operations (default would be move, with modifier key pressed - copy) and thus reverse pointer arrow too replace modifier key - CTRL instead of SHIFT read in an event which of the two operations occurred and start copy or move operation Any pointers into right direction(s) appreciated.

  • MVC4 dynamically changing master layout page doesn't work on first load

    I have an MVC4 mobile project that I want to add a desktop (non mobile) page to for some users. I have added a new desktop master page and assigned my view to use it. The first time I navigate to the page it renders using jquerymobile which appears to somehow be cached from the previous screen. If I hit F5 to refresh the page it displays using the assigned desktop masterpage correctly. Can anyone tell me how to fix this? Any insight appreciated

  • [C#] Onpaint events (invalidated) changing execution order after a period normal operation (runtime)

    Hi all, I have 3 data graphs that are painted via the their paint events. When I have data that I need to insert into the graph I call the controls invalidate() command. The first control's paint event actually creates a bitmap buffer for the other 2 graphs to avoid repeating a long loop. So the invalidate commands are in a specific order (1,2,3). This works well, however when the graphed data reaches the end of the graph window (PictureBox) where the data would normally start scrolling, the paint events begin firing in the wrong order (2,3,1). has anyone came across this before? why might this be happening?

  • PyLab - changing text color and background fill color of text box

    Hey all, I'm using PyLab to make some graphs in Python. I want to make a text box that is colored magenta with black text, but cannot get the text to be black. text(x, y, 'Summary', backgroundcolor = 'm', color = 'k') This gives me a magenta background and then text that is almost just as pink. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? Many thanks!

  • UITableView, having problems changing accessory when selected

    I'm using a UITableView to allow selection of one (of many) items. Similar to the UI when selecting a ringtone, I want the selected item to be checked, and the others not. I would like to have the cell selected when touched, then animated back to the normal color (again, like the ringtone selection UI). A UIViewController subclass is my table's delegate and datasource (not UITableViewController, because I also have a toolbar in there). I'm setting the accessoryType of the cells in cellForRowAtIndexPath:, and updating my model when cells are selected in didSelectRowAtIndexPath:. The only way I can think of to set the selected cell to checkmark (and clear the previous one) is to call [tableView reloadData] in didSelectRowAtIndexPath:. However, when I do this, the animating of the cell deselection is weird (a white box appears where the cell's label should be). If I don't call reloadData, of course, the accessoryType won't change, so the checkmarks won't appear. I suppose I could turn the animation off, but that seems lame. I also toyed with getting and altering the cells in didSelectRowAtIndexPath:, but that's a big pain. Any ideas? CONSTRAINT PK_product PRIMARY KEY (id) ); This results is the model: class Product(models.Model): . weight = models.DecimalField(max_digits=7, decimal_places=3, blank=True, null=True) . I store the weight in kg's, i.e. 1 kg is stores as 1, 0.1 kg or 100g is stored as 0.1 To make it easier for the user, I display the weight in the Admin list display in grams by specifying: def show_weight(self): if self.weight: weight_in_g = self.weight * 1000 return '%0f' % weight_in_g So if a product weighs e.g. 0.5 kg and is stored in the database as such, the admin list display shows 500 Is there also a way to alter the number shown in the 'Change product' window. This window now shows the value extracted from the database, i.e. 0.5. This will confuse a user when I tell him with the help_text to enter the number in g, while seeing the number of kgs. Before saving the product I override save as follows: def save(self): if self.weight: self.weight = self.weight / 1000 This converts the number entered in grams to kgs.

I searched for an answer and was advised to use javascript as follows. 1) Add this javascript function hourglass() { document.body.style.cursor = "wait"; } 2) then in my code in the page load event: btnImport.Attributes.Add("onclick", "javascript: hourglass();"); When btnImport is the button they click on However this does not work.   • Changing the x-axis of seqlogo figures in matlab

    I'm making a large number of seqlogos programatically. They are hundreds of columns wide and so running a seqlogo normally creates letters that are too thin to see. I've noticed that I only care about a few of these columns (not necessarily consecutive columns) ... most are noise but some are highly conserved. I use something like this snippet: conserve_cell = seqlogo(wide_seqs, 'displaylogo', false); high_bit_cols = any(conserve_cell{2}>1.0,1); [~, handle] = seqlogo(wide_seqs(:,high_bit_cols )); Although when I do this I lose the information about which columns the data came from. Normally I would just change the x-axis of the seqlogo. However, seqlogo's are some sort of crazy java-based object and calls like: set(handle, 'xticklabel', num2str(find(high_bit_cols))) don't work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Will
