  I have a site where people upload videos, which are converted to .flv format. Simple. I wanted to also convert to an mp4 format that will "stream" to an iphone and blackberry, or allowed to be downloaded to either, for later viewing. Can someone post a working ffmpeg line to accomplish this task?   Hello, what behaviour can I expect when I run this code: do while(testA) { // do stuff } while(testB); Will it behave like: do { while(testA) { // do stuff } } while(testB); Or: if(testA) { do { // do stuff } while(testA && testB); } Or something totally unexpected? I ask this question because I think this is quite ambiguous, and for other people searching on this topic, not because I am lazy to test it out.

• Is Core Animation causing my subviews to call -drawRect for every single frame?

  I made a nice UIView subclass which paints all its stuff in -drawRect:, because people said that's good. That view is a subview of another. This another view is beeing animated with Core Animation: It's scaled down, rotated and moved. However, I encountered this: -drawRect seems to get called trillion of times during animation, and performance sucks. Is that normal or did I do something wrong, probably?

  Hey people I've got an issue with a WPF project I'm working on, I have an items control which I add to and remove from certain user controls, these contols styles and attached properties are there on first view but when I remove and add them again the user control apears on screen but is detached from the items control attached properties and styles. • Is there a way to opt-out from WP8 when submiting an Windows Phone app?

  I have a Windows Phone app build using the 7.1 SDK that works great on WP7 but does not work at all on WP8 (I am using multicast using UDP and WP8 can join the group but send/receives no message for some reason, other people having the same problem: UDP multicast group on Windows Phone 8). Is there a way to opt-out from WP8 when I submit my app? I just want the app to be available t WP7 users. I am looking for something like the 256MB opt-out option.

• WP7 PanoramaItem with Icon/Button next to Header

  Windows Phone 7's People hub has an "all" panorama item with "search" and a "new" buttons right next to the header/title. I can't seem to accomplish this with PanoramaItem in Visual Studio using the standard Panorama control. I don't know enough Silverlight/WPF either to be able to position something manually and control transitions/movement correctly. How can I set a button (or any object, for that matter) to go alongside the header of a wp7 PanoramaItem? Thanks!
