    - by Zerotoinfinite
Hi All, I have developed my application in asp.net 3.5 and C#. I have deployed my application on internet and now when I am going to the source of the page, I am able to see all my asp.net controls defined [ie. my aspx page], is their any way I can hide it so that user can't see my source of the page [except right click of mouse] or at least display in pure HTML form so that people can not identify that I am using asp.net. Thanks in advance

  • How to do your best when everybody is too busy?

    - by Francisco Garcia
Sometimes I have seen some code or part of the project which I could improve but is not related with my current team project. Those times I have a conflict because despite wanting to help, many teams lack enough people and doing extra work seems like betrayal. Obviously any managers will appreciate much more if you focus your effort on their tasks What do you do in in these cases?

  • Use of malloc() and free() in C++

    - by Matt H
Is there any reason to use malloc and free in C++ over their more modern counterparts? Occasionally I see this, and I can't see why some people do it. Are there any advantages/disadvantage, or is there no real difference, except that it's just better to use C++ constructs in C++?

  • What method do you use to identify the Aggregate Roots in Domain Drive Design?

    - by Robert
When applying Domain Driven Design to a project, how do you identify the Aggregate Roots? For example, in a standard E-Commerce website, you might say that the Order is one, and the User is the other. But what if your Users belong to a Company? Does that make your Company the aggregate root? I'm interested in hearing people's approaches to working out the Aggregate roots, and how to identify poorly chosen aggregate roots.

  • How to convince management to unblock stackoverflow.com?

    - by Abe Miessler
The place I'm working at restricts a lot of sites (including SO). They have a company experts-exchange account that most of the people I work with are happy using. I told my manager that I prefer SO and asked him to unblock it but he just told me to use experts-exchange. Any suggestions on how to convince my corporate overlords that my time is better spent here?

  • Calling constructors in c++ without new

    - by Nils
I've often seen that people create objects in C++ using Thing myThing("asdf"); Instead of Thing myThing = myThing("asdf"); This seems to work (using gcc), at least as long as there are no templates involved. My question now, is the first line correct and if so should I use it?

  • How do you find good .NET developers?

    - by Jonathan Allen
I'm getting tired of interviewing "expert WinForms developers" who don't know what an event handler is, let alone something 'hard' like "What is an interface?". We even tried recruiting firms, but we still getting junk. Where do you get good people? Or do you just pick up college recruits and train them yourself?
