• Zend Framework, what $this->_forward is doing

  Hello everyone, I would like someone to explain me what _forward is exactly doing, I cannot see if _forward is also rendering the attached view to the action or just executing the action. Also is it possible to pass argument to $this-action in a view script ?   I have a class: class test { function __construct() { print 'hello'; } function func_one() { print 'world'; } } what I would like to do is a have a class that sort of extends the test class. I say 'sort of', because the class needs to be able to run whatever function the test class is able to run, but NOT run the construct unless I ask it to. I do not want to override the construct. But using browse nodes from different sites I get the following error: "569604 is not a valid value for BrowseNodeId. Please change this value and retry your request."   Hello, I've recently read a lot about software (mostly scientific/math and encryption related) that moves part of their calculation onto the GPU which causes a 100-1000 (!) fold increase in speed for supported operations. Is there a library, API or other way to run something on the GPU via C#? I'm thinking of simple Pi calculation. I have a GeForce 8800 GTX if that's relevant at all (would prefer card independent solution though). Any hints are appreciated!

I understand hibernate.jdbc.batch_size is a application level parameter, wanted to know if i can use it specifically for certain HQL inserts and not others.
