  • TTImageView not working

    Guys, I am new to IPhone and using following code to render the image from remote server using TTImageView from Three20 framework with the help of following code TTImageView* imageView = [[[TTImageView alloc] initWithFrame:CGRectMake(30, 30, 0, 0)] autorelease]; //Working OK //imageView.urlPath = @"http://prosares.co.cc/Images/background.jpg"; //No Working imageView.urlPath = @"http://prosares.co.cc/Images/backgroundTest.jpg"; [self.view addSubview:imageView]; As shown above if I am trying to load background.jpg it's getting loaded correctly but for some reason backgroundTest.jpg is not loading at all. the only diffrance in these images are the size, is there any restriction on the image size that I can load in TTImageView ?     Hello everyone. Asking for your help on this Oracle query. It's giving me the error 2 "ORA-00905: missing keyword". It was working fine before I added the LEFT JOIN statement.   • VS2010 add-in custom menu item in files of Solution Explorer

    Hey guys, I need to create a custom menu item for Visual Studio 2010 Add-in in C#, but I have had no luck in coming with a solution anytime soon. I am aware that there was a similar post: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2486818/visual-studio-add-in-adding-a-context-menu-item-to-solution-explorer But it did not help, as the blog follows the process through the integration package, and the video is done through VB. I had attempted to convert the VB syntax to the C# syntax, but about half way through the video, the Add-in methods has significantly changed from 2005 to 2010, as some of the methods have removed or changed. Is there any good tutorials on making a custom menu item on the Solution Explorer in the lastest Visual Studio in C#, and is there a good website that could be used as a reference for looking over the VS add-in API? I've used Microsoft's main website, however it is confusing and wordy, which is difficult to understand and find the methods, properties, or commands that I am looking for. Any help would be appreicated, Thanks in advance.

  • ffmpeg - How to determine if -movflags faststart is enabled? PHP

    While I am able to encode an mp4 file which I can plan on my local windows machine, I am having trouble encoding files to mp4 which are readable when streaming by safari, etc. After a bit of reading, I believe my issue is that I must move the metadata from the end of the file to the beginning in order for the converted mp4 files to be streamable. To that end, I am trying to find out if the build of ffmpeg that I am currently using is able to use the -movflags faststart option through php - as my current outputted mp4 files are not working when streamed online. This is the way I am now echoing the -help, -formats, -codecs, but I am not seeing anything about -movflags faststart in any of the lists: exec($ffmpegPath." -help", $codecArr); for($ii=0;$ii<count($codecArr);$ii++){ echo $codecArr[$ii].'</br>'; } Is there a similar method of determining if -movflags fastart is available to my ffmpeg build?   • How can I read individual lines of a CSV file into a string array, to then be selectively displayed

    I need your help, guys! :| I've got myself a CSV file with the following contents: 1,The Compact,1.8GHz,1024MB,160GB,440 2,The Medium,2.4GHz,1024MB,180GB,500 3,The Workhorse,2.4GHz,2048MB,220GB,650 It's a list of computer systems, basically, that the user can purchase. I need to read this file, line-by-line, into an array. Let's call this array csvline(). The first line of the text file would stored in csvline(0). Line two would be stored in csvline(1). And so on. (I've started with zero because that's where VB starts its arrays). A drop-down list would then enable the user to select 1, 2 or 3 (or however many lines/systems are stored in the file). Upon selecting a number - say, 1 - csvline(0) would be displayed inside a textbox (textbox1, let's say). If 2 was selected, csvline(1) would be displayed, and so on. It's not the formatting I need help with, though; that's the easy part. I just need someone to help teach me how to read a CSV file line-by-line, putting each line into a string array - csvlines(count) - then increment count by one so that the next line is read into another slot. If I try to do this using csvalue = csvtranslator.ReadLine , I get the following error message: "Error 1 Value of type 'String' cannot be converted to '1-dimensional array of String'." If I then put it as an array, ie: csvalue() = csvtranslator.ReadLine , I then get a different error message: "Error 1 Number of indices is less than the number of dimensions of the indexed array." What's the knack, guys? I've spent hours trying to figure this out. Please go easy on me - and keep any responses ultra-simple for my newbie brain - I'm very new to all this programming malarkey and just starting out! :)

Other than setting each property individually, is there an easy way to deserialize the XML into my object?     Hi I am trying to implement Inverse Kinematics on a 2D arm(made up of three sticks with joints). I am able to rotate the lowest arm to the desired position. Now, I have some questions: How can I make the upper arm move alongwith the third so the end point of the arm reaches the desired point. Do I need to use the rotation matrices for both and if yes can someone give me some example or an help and is there any other possibl;e way to do this without rotation matrices??? The lowest arm only moves in one direction. I tried google it, they are saying that cross product of two vectors give the direction for the arm but this is for 3D. I am using 2D and cross product of two 2D vectors give a scalar. So, how can I determine its direction??? Plz guys any help would be appreciated.... Thanks in advance Vikram

  • Netbeans not Deploying/Debugging

    Hello all, I have this problem, it's the second time it happens to me, I'm using the NB IDE 6.9.1 and after a while I was working fine, but then It stopped deploying my webapp when debugging or running the application, I don't recall messing with the ant build scripts or any strange configurations, it successfully builds the dist folder and *.war file and I am able to deploy it manually, but when I run it through the IDE it deletes the webapp folder webapps/myapp,so I cannot debug it or run it, all I get is ClassNotFoundException for my servlets. I am unsure of what extra information would help to solve this issue Its pretty annoying, I don't know how it got solved the last time, it just "went away" any help is truly appreciated.

    I have a problem. The client is claiming that a prize signup form I built for them is not working in IE 7. It works in IE 8 just fine which they agree about, but in IE 7 it doesn't. (luckily they don't care about IE 6). I was hoping someone could help me debug it since I don't have access to a machine with IE 7 (I work on a Mac).   • Heap Dump Root Classes

    We have production system going into infinite loop of full gc and memory drops form 8 gigs to like 1 MB in just 2 minutes. After taking heap dump it tells me there an is an array of java.lang.Object ([Ljava.lang.Object) with millions of java.lang.String objects having same String taking 99% of heap. But it doesn't tell me which class is referencing to this array so that I can fix it in the code. I took the heap dump using jmap tool on JDK 6 and used JProfiler, NetBeans, SAP Memory Analyzer and IBM Memory Analyzer but none of those tell me what is causing this huge array of objects?? ... like what class is referencing to it or contains it. Do I have to take a different dump with different config in order to get that info? ... Or anything else that can help me find out the culprit class causing this ... it will help a lot.

    First, I am NOT a python developer. I am trying to fix an issue within a python script that is being executed from the command line. This script was written by someone who is no longer around, and no longer willing to help with issues. This is python 2.5, and for the moment it cannot be upgraded. Here are the lines of code in question: start_time = datetime.strptime(str(paf.Start),"%Y-%m-%d %H:%M:%S") dict_start = datetime(*start_time[:6]) end_time = datetime.strptime(str(paf.End),"%Y-%m-%d %H:%M:%S") dict_end = datetime(*end_time[:6]) When this code is ran, it generates an error with the description: 'datetime.datetime' object is unsubscriptable. This is the import statement: from datetime import datetime I have a feeling that this is something simple, but not being my native language and Google not yielding any valuable results, I am stuck. I have tried a couple of different import methods, yielding different errors, but all with these statements. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

I have a mysql database running on my computer, and I need this application to send queries to the server to gain information. One example is creating and logging into an account.     Hiya, I followed this tutorial below http://code.google.com/apis/maps/articles/phpsqlajax_v3.html#outputxml I ran into trouble, near then end, I am hoping someone else here has got this working and can help me discover my problem. Simply there are 4 steps to this tutorial Creating the Table Populating the Table Outputting XML with PHP Creating the Map I successfully have completed all the steps, however the outputted xml isn't read by the google map I created. The files are all on the same directory, and I didn't change any of the file names from the tutorial. The tutorial has a step to test if the php file called phpsqlajax_genxml.php is outputting the xml and I successfully tested it and it was. The problem is that the map isn't rendering the items I have in the database, that should be converted to xml for the map to read. Any help, or pointing me in the right direction would be much appreciated.

    Dear community. has anyone experienced any problems with InstallShield on Windows 7. I have a small application which needs Crystal Reports in order to work. So I have included them in the Setup Wizard, which I have made with InstallShield 2010. It works like a charm, except on windows 7. here it jumps right over the prerequisite installer, and jumps right to the installation of the application. I have searched the web, but it does not seem that anyone has experienced anything like it. Any help is appreciated. I am using installScript, but I can convert the project to MSI if it will help.

    I am trying to create a STL based C++ library in XCode with a bunch of C++ files that I have. Basically my end output should be a shared library (dylib) that can be consumed by a Objective-C application. When trying to compile, I get the following error.. 'memset' was not declared in scope. Since my codebase uses a lot of external 3rd party codebases, I thought i'll include or to resolve this, but I tried both and even that didn't work. Does it have something to do with the SDK? Am currently running 10.5 with GCC 4.2 Need help with setting up the Target properly. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

  • SharePoint 2007 Central Admin w3wp.exe process consumin 99% CPU

    Hi, I have been running an intranet using SharePoint 2007 for over a year and all has been working fine. However, after some time, I realized that the intranet portal was slow. Trying to access the Central Admin over another computer not the SharePoint server also became an issue. So I logged onto the real SharePoint Server and it took some ages to login and then was so slow even on the server unlike other times. When I checked the Task Manager, I found out that w3wp.exe was consuming 99% of the CPU speed. When I restarted the Central Admin App Pool, everything came back to normal and all was running well but after a few minutes (15 or so), it again became slow. I have checked the Event Logs and nothing conclusive was there to help me out. Anyone who has had this experience? or has any good resource? Please help. Thanks in advance

    Hello I'm building a java application which works in a LAN environment, every computer on that LAN have this application installed on it, at some point i need this application to transfer voice simultaneously to all computer over the LAN (voice broadcasting) according to the following mechanism: Only one computer of the LAN can send voice using a microphone(the administrator) All computers receive that voice simultaneously (of course using my application) The voice should be recorded on the administrator computer after finishing the session. Could anyone give me an idea of how to use java in working with voice transmission? What java library can help me do that? Please help, thank you
