    This binding <tk:DataGridTextColumn Binding="{Binding Path=Id, Mode=OneWay}" Header="Sale No." Width="1*" /> Gives this error A TwoWay or OneWayToSource binding cannot work on the read-only property 'Id' of type . . . The "Id" property is indeed readonly, I thought though that Mode=OneWay would be sufficient. I'm tired and I know I'm missing something obvious so I'll apologies now for asking a really dumb question. Thanks BW

  • WPF-Prism CanExecute method not being called

    I am coding a simple login UserControl with two TextBoxes (Username and Password) and a Login button. I want the Login button to be enabled only when the username and password fields are filled in. I am using Prism and MVVM. The LoginViewModel contains a property called LoginCommand that is bound to the Login button. I have a CanLoginExecute() method in my ViewModel but it fires only when the application comes up and then never again. So the Login button is never enabled. What am I missing?   • How do I stop XElement.Save from escaping characters?

    I'm populating an XElement with information and writing it to an xml file using the XElement.Save(path) method. At some point, certain characters in the resulting file are being escaped - for example, > becomes &gt;. This behaviour is unacceptable, since I need to store information in the XML that includes the > character as part of a password. How can I write the 'raw' content of my XElement object to XML without having these escaped?

  • Load image in device independent and screen independent fashion into a layout view using 1.6 SDK

    I'm having trouble getting an asset image to scale up when I load it. The new call to BitmapDrawable(Resources, BitmapDrawable) is not available on 1.6 SDK. Is there a workaround to load the BitmapDrawable the old way and then somehow manipulate it? I have tried calling setTargetDensity() to no avail. My code (which doesn't scale properly) is: ImageView iv = (ImageView)view.findViewById(R.id.image); iv.setImageDrawable(new BitmapDrawable(view.getContext().getAssets().open(path)));

  • Uploadify Hanging at random on 100%

    I am using Uploadify (http://www.uploadify.com/) to enable my users to upload images via my web application. The problem I am having is that every now and then (at what appears to be random) when the progress bar reaches 100% it 'hangs' and does nothing. I was wondering if any developers familiar with uploadify may have any idea how to solve this? I am in desperate need of some help.     My object graph is simple. I've a feedentry object that stores info about RSS feeds and a relationship called Tag that links to "TagValues" object. Both the relation (to and inverse) are to-many. i.e, a feed can have multiple tags and a tag can be associated to multiple feeds. I referred to http://stackoverflow.com/questions/844162/how-to-do-core-data-queries-through-a-relationship and created a NSFetchRequest. But when fetch data, I get an exception stating, NSInvalidArgumentException unimplemented SQL generation for predicate What should I do?     I just accidentally launched a campaign that is driving traffic to index.html/ (backslash is breaking it)... I am not sure I can access the .htaccess and was wondering if I were to create a page so that people directed to this path would see soemthing what would the name of that page be? Since there is no name just an extra slash I am not sure how to handle this.

    I am in a situation where when I get an HTTP 400 code from the server, it is a completely legal way of the server telling me what was wrong with my request (using a message in the HTTP response content) However, the .NET HttpWebRequest raises an exception when the status code is 400. How do I handle this? For me a 400 is completely legal, and rather helpful. The HTTP content has some important information but the exception throws me off my path.

However, if I run dog, I get no problems... I'm guessing its the path, but i've tried ./includes/cat.php to no joy...

    Hi, I want to develop my own REST service, so I've created a HttpHandler that is configured with verb="" and path="", the the application in "~/MyRESTsrv/" will handle any derivated URL. This approach works good in IIS7 with "integrated mode" and apparently in IIS6 if you map all the extensions to "aspnet_isapi.dll". Is this possible in Apache/XSP with Mono? Do I have to do something special or it will work out of the box? Cheers.
