Let's say I have an user table in declarative mode: class User(Base): __tablename__ = 'user' id = Column(u'id', Integer(), primary_key=True) name = Column(u'name', String(50)) When I know user's id without object loaded into session, I update such user like this: ex = update(User.__table__).where(User.id==123).values(name=u"Bob Marley") Session.execute(ex) I dislike using User.__table__, should I stop worrying with that?   Hi guys Not sure if anyone has used aadvark but it has a very nice integration with Gtalk. If you have signed up on aadvark - when any question is posted in your area of expertise - there will be nice pop-up in ur gtalk window asking if you are interested in answering - if you say Yes - it will ask you the question and you can answer in that window itself. Is that something they are able to do because Google bought them or does google have an API with which we can integrate it with our application to do something similar. Thanks

• How can I make one child window draw over another within the same form?

  Let's say I have ten child windows within a form. How do I make sure one of those windows is drawn over all the others? For example, how do I make sure that window 6 always overdraws windows 1-5 and 7-10? I don't want the window to be drawn over everything else on the screen, just everything else within that form. I've already tried using HWND_TOPMOST and HWND_TOP (see http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2823700/how-can-i-make-a-child-window-topmost ) but it didn't work. :(

Other sites will simply say "the user/password combination is invalid" (Google, I believe, does this). Is there a security reason for not revealing the existence of a user id?

  Is there a way to use jQuery (or generic javascript) to disable CSS inheritance on a block level? For example, if I am pulling in an external resource via javascript, say pastie.org, they will have their own CSS that my CSS overrides. I would like to place the embed code into its own container that has CSS inheritance disabled.   I'm having some issues using pooled memory allocators for std::list objects in a multi-threaded application. The part of the code I'm concerned with runs each thread function in isolation (i.e. there is no communication or synchronization between threads) and therefore I'd like to setup separate memory pools for each thread, where each pool is not thread-safe (and hence fast). I've tried using a shared thread-safe singleton memory pool and found the performance to be poor, as expected. This is a heavily simplified version of the type of thing I'm trying to do.
