• App starts in 1.5 emulator but doesn't in 1.6

  My app works on 1.5 emulator and 1.5 device. When i try to start it on 1.6 emulator, it produces strange exceptions (doesn't even start). I don't have any 1.6 device to try this app if it works on a real device. I get some warnings in Eclipse ( warning: Ignoring InnerClasses attribute for an anonymous inner class that doesn't come with an associated EnclosingMethod attribute. This class was probably produced by a broken compiler.) and get cant rid of them (i think they come from some apache jars that i need to make http multipart posts). Is it possible that this jars are cause for my exceptions in 1.6 or is it something else?   hey all, when i run my flash file (test it) in the output panel i get the following error TypeError: Error #1010: A term is undefined and has no properties. i read some where, that this was caused because one of the variables is set to null. after looking at my code i found out that the following line was causing this output arrSelectedIndex[i] = -1; this is later on used as the selected index in a group of radio buttons. my question is, would having the selected index set to -1 be an issue ? thanks

• Mercurial Pull Error

  I am new to the dvcs world. My company uses perforce and I'm not a fan so I thought I'd try to use mercurial as a front end. I set it up on a windows machine with TortiseHG, enabled the Perfarce extension, did a small checkout (limiting the target revision) and pulled for the rest. This seemed to be more robust than clone alone. This seems to be working fairly well as I've been able to get up to change 8700 or so. My problem is with an error in the perforce repo. During the hg pull command it hits an error abort: file path/to/file.pl missing in p4 workspace and rolls back the transaction. Is there anyway to bypass or skip that file and force it to continue since this is not a file I care about.

  If I compile this QT c++ program in SuSE Linux include using namespace std; int main () { cout << "Hello World!"; return 0; When I type i386-mingw32-g++ helloworld.cpp I get the following error i386-mingw32-g++: error trying to exec 'cc1plus': execvp: No such file or directory Is this because MinGW package which i installed contains only gcc in it.. hence i downloaded gcc-g++-3.4.5.rpm package and just copy pasted i386-mingw32-g++ and cc1plus executable along with C++ include files.   Hi guys, NSXMLParser is giving me the following error: "Error 65, Description: (null), Line: 1, Column: 47" I've checked the documentation, and it says that a space is required at column47??. Was hoping someone can help out on this? The raw xml file is as follows. However, I've just noticed that when regexec fails to match, it returns != 0 and I have no idea of what was wrong :-(.   Whenever I require a file in ruby or irb I get this error: LoadError: no such file to load -- (insert any filename).rb from <internal:lib/rubygems/custom_require>:29:in `require' from <internal:lib/rubygems/custom_require>:29:in `require' from (irb):1 from /usr/bin/irb1.9.1:12:in `<main>' It happens even if the file exists I am using ruby1.9.1 and to my knowledge, I have not installed rubygems. I am running on Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick Meerkat. Please help, this problem is very annoying! Thanks in advance, ell. EDIT: I forgot to say that no matter where the file is, even if its in the same directory and definately exists I always get this error.

• backgroundDisabledColor error when upgrading from Flex3 to FlashBuilder 4

  I've upgraded a FlexBuilder3 project to FlashBuilder4, and I am seeing many compilation errors regarding unsupported tag attributes: The style 'backgroundDisabledColor' is only supported by type 'mx.controls.TextInput' with the theme(s) 'halo' Here is the offending mxml element: <mx:TextInput x="245" y="86" id="code1" maxChars="15" change="enableButton(event)" cornerRadius="9" borderStyle="solid" backgroundDisabledColor="#7977b6" /> ...what is the best workaround for this particular error? I was able to easily resolve a similar error with the "backgroundColor" attribute by changing it to "contentBackgroundColor", and was hoping there was a simple workaround for backgroundDisabledColor as well. I realize I can apply a css style, but I'd rather have a simpler solution as there are many many other attribute errors similar to this one.

  I've created an C# class that contains 2 static method and I successfully created an Assembly in SQL 2005. When I try to create a table-valued function from that Assembly I get the following error: Msg 6509, Level 16, State 36, Procedure , Line 2 An error occurred while gathering metadata from assembly '' with HRESULT 0x80004005. We have other CLR functions that are that are with in the same dll and seem to work fine. I tried to emulate what the other functions are doing, but I can't seem to get this function to work. All the documentation online doesn't seem to help

  I have installed windows xp on VPC and have installed cygwin-x on that virtual machine. When i run startx command. • jQuery AJAX call undefined error with special characters

  Hi, I tried to make an AJAX call using jQuery, the data has special characters, e.g {'data':'<p>test</p>'}. It seems failed to pass this data in the first place. It will work if i just pass {'data':'test'}. encodeURIComponent and JSON.stringify failed here due to the special character < > /. Could anyone please help with it?
