• How to format dates in Jahia 6 CMS?

  I am helping a friend of mine put up a site for his business. I’ve read different posts and sites trying to find the ideal CMS tool, but people have different views of what is the best, so I finally just picked one of them at random. So I went for an evaluation of Jahia 6.0-CE. As you’ve probably guessed by now, I don’t have so much experience with CMS tools. I just want to setup the CMS, write the templates for the site and let my friend manage the content from there on. So I extracted the sources from SVN and went for a test drive. I managed to create some simple templates to get a hang of things but now I have an issue with a date format. In my definitions.cnd I declared the field like so: date myDateField (datetimepicker[format='dd.MM.yyyy']) This is formatted in the page and the selector also presents this in the dd.MM.yyyy format when inserting the content. But how about sites in other countries, countries that represent the date as MM.dd.yyyy for example? If I specify the format in the CND, hard coded, how can I change this later on so that it adapts based on the browser’s language? Do I extract the content from the repository and format it by hand in the JSP template based on a Locale, or is there a better way? Thank you.

But this is giving me only the customers who have any orders with late_days0, but the customers who does not have any late orders are not showing up. so if one customer has 5 orders with late payments then it is showing 5 for that customer, but if a customer have 0 late orders,that customer is not selected in this query. Is there any way to select all the customers , and if he has any late orders, it will show the number and also if he does not have any late orders, it will show 0.

• git: How to move last N commits made to master, into own branch?

  Hi all, I have a repository where I had been working on master branch having last committed some 10 or so commits which I now wish were in another branch, as they describe work that I now consider experimental (i am still learning good git practices). Basically I would like to have these last 10 commits starting from a point in master to form another branch instead, so that I can have my master in a release state (which is what I strive for.) So, this is what I have (rightmost X is the last commit good for release): b--b (feature B) / X--X--X--Z--Z--Z--Z--Z--Z (master) \ a--a--a (feature A) You can see that both X and Z are on master, while I want commits marked by Z (my feature Z work) to lie on their own feature branch, and so that rightmost X is at the tip of master forming a good master branch tip. I guess this is what I want: b--b (feature B) / X--X--X (master) \ \ \ Z--Z--Z--Z--Z--Z (feature Z - the branch I want Z on) a--a--a (feature A) That way I will have my master always ready for release, and merge A, B and Z features when the time comes.   Hi, I need to retrieve data from two tables. the first is a list of events, the second is a list of venues. I have a fields with the same name in both tables: events.venue (which is an ID) and venues.venue is the name of the place, say "blues bar". The tables can be joined on events.venue = venues.id. I figure I could unarchive my class (which conforms to NSCoding) and just swap where my instance points to. To this end I use this code... • Best way to parse this particular string using awk / sed?

  Hi, I need to get a particular version string from a file (call it version.lst) and use it to compare another in a shell script. For example sake, the file contains lines that look like this: V1.000 -- build date and other info here -- APP1 V1.000 -- build date and other info here -- APP2 V1.500 -- build date and other info here -- APP3 .. and so on. Let's say I am trying to grab the first version (in this case, V1.000) from APP1. Obviously, the versions can change and I want this to be dynamic. What I have right now works: var = `cat version.lst | grep " -- APP1" | grep -Eo V[0-9].[0-9]{3}` Pipe to grep will get the line containing APP1 and the second pipe to grep will get the version string. However, I hear grep is not the way to do this so I'd like to learn the best way using awk or sed. Any ideas? I am new to both and haven't found a tutorial easy enough to learn the syntax of it. Do they support egrep? Thanks!

My issue is that within th text I have malformed sequences: If the text doesn't start with a date, and end with a name my extraction fails. For example, the text above may have several mal formed sequences, such as: abcabcabcabc<2007-01-12><name1> Should be: <2007-01-12>abcabcabcabc<name1> Is it possible to have a regular expression that would clean the above, prior to extracting my consistent pattern. In short, i need to find all mal formed patterns, and then take the date tag and put it in front of it, as provided in the example above. Thanks.

  I'm a bit of a beginner with Javascript, but last month I had a working Google chart linked to a Google Docs file, which uses a start date for the graph at 90 days before the current date. I checked the page today and in Chrome I get the message "Object # has no method 'getTime'", and in Firefox I get the message "b.zoomStartTime[y] is not a function". Both stop the graph from loading. I have simplified the code to help me with the error, but I'm not getting anywhere...   Hey, i have question related to CoreData. My iphone project has 2 Entities, Organisation and Brand with a 1 to many "BrandsToOrg" relationship and inverse. So my project has a Mapview, where you can see all the Organisations and a little subview when you click on those Organisations.At the subview there is a "show Brands" Button, which should init a new TableView who only shows the brands belong to the seleceted organisation.   I have an array of dictionaries loaded from a plist (below) called arrayHistory. <plist version="1.0"> <array> <dict> <key>item</key> <string>1</string> <key>result</key> <string>8.1</string> <key>date</key> <date>2009-12-15T19:36:59Z</date> </dict> ... </array> </plist> I filter this array based on 'item' so that a second array, arrayHistoryDetail has the same structure as arrayHistory but only contains e.g. 'item's equal to '1'. These detail items are successfully displayed in a tableView. I then want to select an item from the tableView, and delete it from the tableView data source, arrayHistoryDetail (line 2 in the code below) - works, then I want to delete the item from the tableView itself (line 3 in the code below) - also works. My problem is that I also need to delete it from the original arrayHistory, so I tried the following: created a temporary dictionary as an ivar: NSMutableDictionary *tempDict; @property (nonatomic, retain) NSMutableDictionary *tempDict; Then my thinking was to make a copy in line 1 and remove it from the original array in line 4. 1 tempDict = [arrayHistoryDetail objectAtIndex: indexPath.row]; 2 [arrayHistoryDetail removeObjectAtIndex: indexPath.row]; 3 [tableView deleteRowsAtIndexPaths:[NSArray arrayWithObject:indexPath] withRowAnimation:UITableViewRowAnimationFade]; 4 [arrayHistory removeObject:tempDict]; Didn't work. • How to start x-axis labels(dates) from 0th position without using set_range(..)

  Hi there, First of all, I am really a newbie for flash charts. I have problem in using it. I am developing an app which gets values from database for chart. I have a line on chart, there are dates on x-axis starting from 0th position. I have dates 03-06-2010 and 05-06-2010 right now and may increase in future. When I set range of 1 month i.e 1st jun to 30th jun , it does not show lines but show values on y-axis. When I use range, i am not able to pass array of above two dates from database to chart, and viceversa. • Making firefox refresh images faster

  I have a thing I'm doing where I need a webpage to stream a series of images from the local client computer. I have a very simple run here: http://jsbin.com/idowi/34 The code is extremely simple setTimeout ( "refreshImage()", 100 ); function refreshImage(){ var date = new Date() var ticks = date.getTime() $('#image').attr('src','http://127.0.0.1:2723/signature?'+ticks.toString()); setTimeout ("refreshImage()", 100 ); } Basically I have a signature pad being used on the client machine. We want for the signature to show up in the web page and for them to see themselves signing it within the web page(the pad does not have an LCD to show it to them right there). So I setup a simple local HTTP server which grabs an image of what the current state of the signature pad looks like and it gets sent to the browser. This has no problems in any browser(tested in IE7, 8, and Chrome) but Firefox where it is extremely laggy and jumpy and doesn't keep with the 10 FPS rate. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? I've tried creating very simple double buffering in javascript but that just made things worse. Also for a bit more information it seems that Firefox is executing the javascript at the correct framerate as on the server the requests are coming in at a constant speed. • Adobe Air, packaged install fails with my trace routine... how come?

  I cobbled together some code from here and there for a trace I like... it generates an error to get a stack trace and picks out the traced routine name, I like that detail in the trace log. Problem: it fails in an installed AIR file. I wonder why?   I have two tables one is members table with columns member id , member first name, member last name. I have another table guest passes with columns guest pass id and member id and issue date . I have a list view that will displays guest passes details (I.e) like member name and issue date and I have two text boxes those are for entering member name and issue date . member name text box is auto complete text box that working fine.... but the problem is when I am entering the name that is not in member table at this time it will accept and displays a blank field in list view in member name column and member id is stored as "0" in guest pass table ...... • Basic formatting. sed, or cut, or what?

  Very new to this whole Unix thing. I'm currently using korn shell to try and format some lines of text. My input has a couple of lines that look something like this Date/Time :- Monday June 03 00:00:00 EDT 2013 Host Name :- HostNameHere PIDS :- NumbersNLetters Product Name :- ProductName The desired output would be as follows: Date/Time="Monday June 03 00:00:00 EDT 2013" HostName="HostNameHere" PIDS="NumbersNLetters" ProductName="ProductName" So, I need to get rid of any spaces in the leftmost column, and throw everything in the rightmost column between quotations. I've looked at the cut command, and got this far: Cut -f 1,2 -d - Which might produce a result like Date/Time:Monday June 03 00:00:00 EDT 2013, which is close to what I want, but not quite. I wasn't sure if cut could let me add parentheses, and it doesn't look like I can remove spaces that way either. sed seems like it might be closer to the answer, but I wasn't able to find through googling how I might just look for any pattern and not a specific one. I apologize for the incredibly basic question, but reading documentation only gets you so far before your brain starts to ache... If there are any better resources I should be looking at I would be happy to get pointed in the right direction. Thanks!

• Dynamic External Program in debug tab vs2008

  I am playing with NServiceBus using the generic host; specifically I'm working on having 2 different configurations, a debug configuration that logs to the console and a release version that logs to metabase (I'm using VS2008). I had just made some code changes (commented out a logging statement), but it was still showing in the log when I ran my solution. I eventually figured out that I had switched configuration to release, made my change, then built. I think the change isn’t being picked up because in the debug tab of my project properties I have the following (abbreviated) path to the generic host: C:...\Inventory\bin\Debug\NServiceBus.Host.exe Notice it specifically points to the debug directory. So basically even though I’m in release config it’s firing up the host in the debug directory which I think is then using the dll's in the debug directory (which is why my changes didn't get picked up). I tried to come up with a workaround, but have been unsuccessful. VS Macros (like $(Configuration)) and relative pathing are not allowed here. http://connect.microsoft.com/VisualStudio/feedback/details/422223/relative-path-not-allowed-in-c-project-debug-properties-window Any ideas? I hope this doesn’t require a custom build task.

  I am working on my first core data iPhone application. I am using a navigation controller, and the root view controller displays 4 rows. Clicking the first row takes me to a second table view controller. However, when I click the back button, repeat the row tap, click the back button again, and tap the row a third time, I get an error. I have been researching this for a week with no success. I can reproduce the error easily: Create a new Navigation-based Application, use Core Data for storage, call it MyTest which creates MyTestAppDelegate and RootViewController. Add new UIViewController subclass, with UITableViewController and xib, call it ListViewController. Copy code from RootViewController.h and .m to ListViewController.h and .m., changing the file names appropriately. To simplify the code, I removed the trailing “_” from all variables. In RootViewController, I added #import ListViewController.h, set up an array to display 4 rows and navigate to ListViewController when clicking the first row. In ListViewController.m, I added #import MyTestAppDelegate.h” and the following code: - (void)viewDidLoad { [super viewDidLoad]; if (managedObjectContext == nil) { managedObjectContext = [(MyTestAppDelegate *)[[UIApplication sharedApplication] delegate] managedObjectContext]; } .. } The sequence that causes the error is tap row, return, tap row, return, tap row - error. managedObjectContext is synthesized for the third time. I appreciate your patience and your help, as this makes no sense to me.
