    Hello, I have the following hsqldb table, in which I map UUIDs to auto incremented IDs: SHORT_ID (BIG INT, PK, auto incremented) | UUID (VARCHAR, unique) Create command: CREATE TABLE table (SHORT_ID BIGINT GENERATED BY DEFAULT AS IDENTITY PRIMARY KEY, UUID VARCHAR(36) UNIQUE) In order to add new pairs concurrently, I want to use the atomic MERGE INTO statement. So my (prepared) statement looks like this: MERGE INTO table USING (VALUES(CAST(? AS VARCHAR(36)))) AS v(x) ON ID_MAP.UUID = v.x WHEN NOT MATCHED THEN INSERT VALUES v.x When I execute the statement (setting the placeholder correctly), I always get a Caused by: org.hsqldb.HsqlException: row column count mismatch Could you please give me a hint, what is going wrong here?     Okay i'm experiencing some problems with the actionlink htmlhelper. I have some complicated routing as follows: routes.MapRoute("Groep_Dashboard_Route", // Route name "{EventName}/{GroupID}/Dashboard", // url with Paramters new {controller = "Group", action="Dashboard"}); routes.MapRoute("Event_Groep_Route", // Route name "{EventName}/{GroupID}/{controller}/{action}/{id}", new {controller = "Home", action = "Index"}); My problem is generating action links that match these patterns. The eventname parameter is really just for having a user friendly link. it doesn't do anything. Now when i'm trying for example to generate a link. that shows the dashboard of a certain groep. Like: mysite.com/testevent/20/Dashboard I'll use the following actionlink: <%: Html.ActionLink("Show dashboard", "Group", "Dashboard", new { EventName_Url = "test", GroepID = item.groepID}, null)%> What my actual result in html gives is: <a href="">Show Dashboard</a> Please bear with me i'm still new at ASP MVC.     I'm managing about 15 or so domains for a particular promotion. Each domain has specific redirects in place, as shown below. Rather than make 15 different .htaccess files that I would later have to manage separately, I'd like to use a single .htaccess file and use a symbolic link into each website's directory. The trouble is that, I can't figure out how to make the rules apply only for a specific domain. Every time I visit www.redirectsite2.com, it sends me to www.targetsite.com/search.html?state=PA&id=75, when it should instead be sending me to www.targetsite.com/search.html?state=NJ&id=68. How exactly do I make multiple RewriteRules apply for a given domain and only that domain? Is this even possible to do within a single .htaccess file?   • Jquery html grab + calling a controller action using javascript (ruby on rails)

    Preface: I consider myself "slightly effective" in ruby on rails, and a complete novice in javascript. Also, yes, I have installed jQuery and associated plugins instead of the default Prototype library. I am in a situation where I am pulling in a table from off-site in an iframe (which is taking care of all internal JS for me) such that when a part of the table is clicked, a td will gain the class "active." What I would like to do is take this info (I'm assuming I can get it in a string format), and pass it to a method (in my controller, I'm assuming) which will parse the html, pull out the pertinent info, and then call a creation method in the same controller with the parsed info, the end result being a new item in that table. What I have so far is javascript which I believe is correct so far: <script type="text/javascript"> var ImportInfo = function() { var info = $('td.active').html(); // call controller action which parses the given string, //checks for existence in database, and adds new row if needed } $("#Import").click(ImportInfo); </script> and, of course, a button with id="ImportLocation." I have looked at this question: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1334447/using-jquery-to-call-a-controller-action but am somewhat unsure as to how to call a controller action to pass the contents of the td as a string. And there may be any number of tables in each document.But I want to extract only one table from each document which has column header name NAME,PHONE NO,ADDRESS.And this table can be anywhere in the document,like in the document there is ten tables and from ten table there is one table which has many nested tables and from nested table there may be a table what I want to extract means table can be anywhere in the document and I want to find that table from the document by column header name.If I got that table then I want to then extract the information from that table. Now I can find the table which has column header NAME,PHONE NO,ADDRESS and also can extract the information from that.I am doing for that is, first I find the all tables in a document by foreach (var table in doc.DocumentNode.Descendants("table")) then for each table got I find the row for each table like, var rows = table.Descendants("tr"); and then for each row I am checking that row has that header name NAME,ADDRESS,PHONENO and if it is then I skip that row and extract all information after that row foreach (var row in rows.Skip(rowNo)) { var data = new List<string>(); foreach (var column in row.Descendants("td")) { data.Add(properText); } } Such that I am extracting all information from almost many document. But now problem is sometimes what happened that in some document I can not parse the information.Like a document in which there are like 10 tables and from these 10 tables 1 table is like there are many nested tables in that table. And from these nested tables I want to find the table which tabel has column header like NAME,ADDRESS,PHONE NO.So if table may be anywhere in the document even in the nested tables or anywhere it can be find through column header name.So I can parse the information from that table and skip the outer tabular information from that table.

    Hello, I want to decide which of this would be a more viable career option? I am ready to quit my current job and hence I am looking for new opportunity. Current job is maintainence and no more active development. My current role is of a PHP/MySQL Developer. I very well understand web-programming and am comfortable with RoR/Sinatra/Zend MVC/JQuery/JSON manipulation, etc. I understand MySQL InnoDB/MyISAM engine and how one differs from the other, etc. Basically, I could very well manage the deployment of a web-application end-to-end including configuration of Apache/Nginx servers, memcache,etc On the other hand, I am being offered a Sr.Front End Web developer that would require me to extensively write HTML/CSS crossbrowser/crossplatform compliant code. I very well understand XHTML/CSS/Box model etc. I would be working on Drupal for the management of websites. While I understand continuing to work on server-side technologies would always be a good career path, how would the role of Core front-end developer turn out to be? If I take this opportunity, will I eventually get a chance to focus onto UCD, HCI, Information Architect,etc. So are these kinda roles possible if I focus on front end development? No offenses to the Front end developers, just want to understand if this is something I want to gain a mastery over. I have 2 yrs of industry experience after graduating with a MS-Computer Science. Although, I have a CS degree, if I were to take uip serious front-end role; I could probably go back and take up some design/HCI/UI courses. Please advise.

  • Is this possible? Overflow-y:visible with overflow-x:scroll/auto

    We have a problem in our team which we cannot solve :/ We made our own Grid control. When you click on the icon next to column name, the pop-up div (call it divFilter) appears and you can set filtering there. There can be dynamically generated div for each column so we can have f.e 5 divFilters in 5 different places. It works, but the only problem is that when there is for example 1-2 records on the Grid, the pop-up div will be displayed under horizontal scroll of div. We've tried with z-index but it looks like that won't work. We can set overflow:visible but we also need that horizontal scroll(our grids have up to 50 columns). We thought that we can solve it buy setting overflow-y visible and overflow-x:scroll but according to our tests and that page: http://www.brunildo.org/test/Overflowxy2.html it isn't possible(for IE7,IE8). I've also found this similar question CSS overflow-y:visible, overflow-x:scroll ,but our pop-up div must be position:absolute, because we need to position them under columns. Any ideas or workaround to it? Is it even possible to set it only with CSS without using Javascript(for dynamically changing gridview hight etc.). Thanks!!

    I have the following (greatly simplified) table structure: Order: order_number = CharField order_invoice_number = CharField order_invoice_value = CharField An invoice number can be identical on more than one order (order O1 has invoice number I1, order O2 has invoice number I1, etc.). All the orders with the same invoice number have the same invoice value. For example: Order no. Invoice no. Value O1 I1 200 O2 I1 200 O3 I1 200 04 I2 50 05 I2 100 What I am trying to do is do a sum over all the invoice values, but don't add the invoices with the same number more than once. The sum for the above items would be: 200+50+100. I tried doing this using s = orders.values('order_invoice_id').annotate(total=Sum('order_invoice_value')).order_by() and s = orders.values('order_invoice_id').order_by().annotate(total=Sum('order_invoice_value')) but I didn't get the desired result. I tried a few different solutions from similar questions around here but I couldn't get the desired result. I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong and what I actually should do to get a sum that uses each invoice value just once.

    Hello everyone, hopefully this will be an easy answer for some of you CSS veterans out there. I'm developing a site for a client. For readability, I'll just give you a link to the website and the css page in question. HTML CSS I'm trying to make a sub menu pop up to the right of the main menu when you scroll over "Star Quartz Grout." My current CSS obviously isn't correct though, and I could use some guidance. ul#subNav {display: none; width: 134px; } li:hover ul#subNav, li.over ul#subNav {display: inline-block; position: absolute; top: 0px; left: 134px; } My guess is that it's working but it's hidden behind the rest of the page. I could be wrong though. It's kind of hard to confirm, even with Chrome's "Inspect Element" (very nice thing btw). It's probably some dumb mistake. Anyway, thanks in advance.     I have a XSL/XML parser to produce jsp/html code. Using MVC model I need to accees spring library in order to perform i18n translation. Thus, given the xml <a> ... <country>EN</country> ... </a> and using <spring:message code="table_country_code.EN"/> tag, choose based on the browser language, the transalation into England, Inglaterra, etc... However, the XSL do not support <spring:message> tag. The idea is to have a XSLT with something like this <spring:message code="table_country_code.><xsl:value-of select="country"/>"/>` I also tried to create the spring tag in Java when I make a parse to create the XML but I sill have the same error.   • Top Container Background Problem

  • Adapting existing HTML/Javascript model to Titanium's latest release (v 0.9)

    In pre-0.9 versions of Titanium, one could simply specify an .html file (local or remote) in the tiapp.xml file and interact with it in the same manner as one would on a website. As of version 0.9, that is no the longer case. One creates their entire app dynamically. Unfortunately, this broke my previous implementation and, other than an updated Kitchen Sink, much of the new model and API calls are not covered in the documentation (e.g., createLabel). So, my question is this... What are the simplest steps for re-creating the previous effect (knowingly forgoing some of the advantages of the Titanium's latest approach if necessary)? My previous implementation was exactly as it functions on the website. The website has a single index.html file with no content other than links to JavaScript and style files. The document body's onload event called the first JavaScript function (located in the main script) and, from that point forth, the entire content was dynamically created. How can I set up the latest version of Titanium so that I am poised to do the exact same thing? BTW: Whereas I previously had the choice to keep the files local or remote, I don't believe that remote access (e.g., simply using the webView widget to point to the website) is viable. That's because pages displayed via the webView do not have access to most of the API. Since the iPhone and Safari browsers do not support the file input type, the only means for uploading files (something my app requires) is calling Titanium's function. Thanks in advance.

  • 3 columns layout, want middle column to stretch wider when column 1 and 3 are empty

    I have a 3 column layout using table-less design. <div id="main"> <div id="left"></div> <div id="content"></div> <div id="right"></div> </div> The CSS: #left {width: 200px;float:left;display:inline;} #content {width: 600px;float:left;display:inline;padding: 0 10px;} #right {width: 160px;float:left;display:inline;} I am using a web application, and I can't change the layout. By can't change, I mean the div's with left/content/right cannot be removed. On some pages, both the left and right columns are completely empty. And I want the #content div to expand more than the 600px. is this possible, without altering the HTML? What are my options? Thanks allot!
