    Hi, I'm having a couple of problems with the JQuery tablesorter plugin. If you click on a column header, it should sort the data by this column, but there are a couple of problems: The rows are not properly sorted (1, 1, 2183, 236) The total row is included in the sort Regarding (2), I can't easily move the total row to a table footer, because the HTML is generated by the displaytag tag library over which I have limited control. Regarding (1), I don't understand why the sort doesn't work as I've used exactly the same JavaScript shown in the simplest example in the tablesorter tutorials.     I'm trying to put together a Continuous Integration server that will do the following: Work with subversion Use NUnit tests (fail build on failed tests) Use partcover (fail build on < X% coverage) Run code against FxCop (fail build on FxCop warnings, given settings) Run code against StyleCop (fail build on StyleCop warnings, given settings) Not as important: Be able to run from a sln file Be able to publish the application (ClickOnce is setup for the project already) I'm using TeamCity right now and it doesn't seem to do 3 or 5, and it doesn't have a runner for the newest NUnit. From the list of plugins that hudson has, it looks like it can do all of these except 3 (and the not as important requests). I've considered writing a plugin for hudons to use partcover, but that's adding more time to setting up a build server.

    I'm a newb to jQ so please forgive my ignorance. I'm using Asa Wilson's plugin jquery.dirtyform.js to prompt a user of unsaved changes before they nav away from a page (ASP.Net C# 3.5). It basically loops through all controls and appends a class and handler to each input. Controls w/i an ajaxToolkit:TabPanel are ignored, unfortunately. I'd appreciate if anyone knows of this type of error and how to resolve it short of manually manipulating each control (as I have this logic in the master page). Thank you.

    Ok so i wrote a program that makes use of a 3rd party open source library and i want to package it with my program in a single jar. I'm using netbeans 6.8 and everything I've tried java always spit back the error: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: libraryname; off topic:also i would like to know how to make an executable-jar(exe) through netbeans if it is possible. (ive seen programs that were written in java but were an .exe) EDIT discovered a plugin for eclipse called FatJar which can do what i want, but i cant find something similar for netbeans, is there such thing?

  • Writing an Iron Python debugger

    As a learning exercise I'm writing myself a simple extension / plugin / macro framework using IronPython - I've gotten the basics working but I'd like to add some basic debugging support to make my script editor easier to work with. I've been hunting around on the internet a bit and I've found a couple of good resources on writing managed debuggers (including Mike Stall's excellent .Net Debugging blog and the MSDN documentaiton on the CLR Debugging API) - I understand that IronPython is essentially IL however apart from that I'm a tad lost on how to get started, in particular: Are there any significant differences between debugging a dynamic language (such as IronPython) to a static one (such as C#)? Do I need to execute my script in a special way to get IronPython to output suitable debugging information? Is debugging a script running inside the current process going to cause deadlocks, or does IronPython execute my script in a child process? Am I better off looking into how to produce a simple C# debugger first to get the general idea? (I'm not interested in the GUI aspect of making a debugger for now - I've already got a pretty good idea of how this might work)

  • Websphere 7 EntityManagerFactory creation problem

    Hello, I'm working on a maven project which uses seam 2.2.0, hibernate 3.5.0-CR-2 as JPA provider, DB2 as database server and Websphere 7 as application server. Now I'm facing de following problem: In my EJBs that are seen also as SEAM components I want to use the EntityManager from EJB container (@PersistenceContext private EntityManager em) not Seam's EntityManager (@In private EntityManager em). But this is the problem, I cannot obtain an EntityManager using @PersistenceContext. On server logs it sais that it cannot create an EntityManagerFactory and gets a ClassCastException: java.lang.ClassCastException: org.hibernate.ejb.HibernatePersistence incompatible with javax.persistence.spi.PersistenceProvider After a lot of debugging and searching on forums I'm assuming that the problem is that Websphere doesn't use the Hibernate JPA provider. Has anyone faced this problem and has a solution? I configured already WAS class loader order for my application to load the classes with the application class loader first and I\ve packed all necessary jars in application ear as written in: WAS InfoCenter: Features for EJB 3.0 development . If necessary I'll post my persistence.xml, components.xml files and stack trace.     Hi, I am trying to post some data with jQuery Ajax, but the parameters in my Ajax method are null. The issue is that filters are not processed for files under a certain directory.   • Why does ICEfaces send dispose-window request on page unload when using view-scoped bean?

    in our application ICEfaces always sends a dispose-window request just before navigating to another JSF Page. as much as i understand this should not happen when having org.icefaces.lazyWindowScope set to true and there is no window-scoped bean involved in current request. but it happens on each link and makes our UI less responsive. but we don't have any window-scoped bean in our application. is that a bug in icefaces that the dispose request is sent when using view-scoped beans? Is it possible to disable?   • Python repl in python application

    Hello i am learning python(so i can use qt with python not only c++) and i'm curios if it would be possible to embed a python interpreter in my application as a repl. I would like to give users to possibility to script the app using python either loading a file (and that file to act as a plugin for the app) or by evaluating code entered in a text box or something like that. Just like you can embed the interpreter in C or C++ and script the app using python can this be done if the application is itself written in python(and made a stand-alone binary using py2exe or something similar)? something like Anders did with the C# repl or Miguel with mono.     I am having a hard time getting cxf to validate an xml request that my service creates for a 3rd party. My project uses maven. Here is my project structure Main Module : + Sub-Module1 = Application + sub-Module2 = Interfaces In Interfaces, inside src/main/resources I have my wsdl and xsd. so, src/main/resources + mywsdl.wsdl. + myschema.xsd The interface submodule is listed as a dependency in the Application-sub-module. inside Application sub-module, there is a cxsf file in src/maim/resources. <jaxws:client name="{myTargerNameSpaceName}port" createdFromAPI="true"> <jaxws:properties> <entry key="schema-validation-enabled" value="true" /> </jaxws:properties> </jaxws:client> AND:. <jaxws:endpoint name="{myTargetNameSpaceName}port" wsdlLocation="/mywsdl.wsdl" createdFromAPI="true"> <jaxws:properties> <entry key="schema-validation-enabled" value="true" /> </jaxws:properties> </jaxws:endpoint> I tried changing the "name="{myTargetNameSpaceName}port" to "name="{myEndPointName}port" But to no anvil. My application works. But it just do not validate the xml I am producing that has to be consumed by a 3rd party application. I would like to get the validation working, so that any request that I send would be a valid one. Any suggestions?

    rig: win7 64bit, vs2010, mvc v2, TestDriven.Net 3.0, Reshaper 5.0, MSpec 0.3 i recently started a new project and want to use mspec. (1) copied Machine.Specifications.ReSharperRunner.5.0.dll and Machine.Specifications.dll to JetBrains\ReSharper\5.0\Bin\Plugins\Machine.Specifications (2) copied Machine.Specifications.TDNetRunner.dll to TestDriven.NET 3\Machine.Specifications when i try to run the test i get this error: System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'Machine.Specifications i don't know where this error is coming from. vs2010 menu - ReSharper -Plugins shows the MSpec plugin. vs2010 menu -ReSharper - Options - Tools - Unit Testing also shows the MSpec unit testing provider but it doesn't show any details when i click on it as does MSTest and nUnit. i found this: http://marcinobel.com/index.php/mspec-bdd-installer/ which didn't work. i also tried this: http://eduncan911.com/blog/registering-mspec-runners-for-testdriven-net-on-windows-x64.aspx which also didn't work. now i fear i screwed my registry. any guidance?

    Hi, I found this great Tablesorter plugin for jQuery but I can't make it work with my PHP generated table. Here's the code: <script type="text/javascript"> function table() { $("#container").load("table.php?randval="+Math.random()); } $(document).ready(function() { table(); $("table").tablesorter(); }); </script> Where #container is the div where the table will be and table is the name of the table. I get the table loaded but sorting function is not working. It works if I put the table directly in html in the page.. but I don't see the point in having a static table for sorting. EJB3 in action sample code comes with ant building. I want to use Maven so I have rearranged the code some. However, I don't understan what I am doing wrong here.     I'm working on an Excel plugin (XLL), which communicates with COM objects. So, I have to marshall between XLOPER and VARIANT. I've got most of this working, but arrays are definitely a pain. I need to support 1- and 2D arrays. I imagine someone has already had to deal with this before. Is there some library available to simplify this? Are there good tools for dealing with VARIANT, SAFEARRAY, and XLOPER (and XLOPER12)?

    I'm trying to add Google Maps onto my JSPs by using the Googlemaps taglib. I've added this into my maven pom <dependency> <groupId>com.lamatek</groupId> <artifactId>googlemaps</artifactId> <version>0.98c</version> <scope>provided<>/scope </dependency> This then included the googlemaps-0.98c library under my project libraries in NetBeans, I right clicked and selected Manually install artifact and located the googlemaps.jar file I had downloaded. I've then added this into my taglibs file <%@taglib prefix="googlemaps" uri="/WEB-INF/googlemaps" %> And have then included this where I actually want to show a map on my jsp <googlemaps:map id="map" width="250" height="300" version="2" type="STREET" zoom="12"> <googlemaps:key domain="localhost" key="xxxx"/> <googlemaps:point id="point1" address="74 Connors Lane" city="Elkton" state="MD" zipcode="21921" country="US"/> <googlemaps:marker id="marker1" point="point1"/> </googlemaps:map> But when I load up my application, I get the following error. org.apache.jasper.JasperException: /jsp/dashboard.jsp(1,1) /jsp/common/taglibs.jsp(6,56) PWC6117: File "/WEB-INF/googlemaps" not found root cause org.apache.jasper.JasperException: /jsp/common/taglibs.jsp(6,56) PWC6117: File "/WEB-INF/googlemaps" not found Have I missed something simple?     I have a unit test that takes 200 sec to run. I am trying to use NetBeans profiler to speed it up. But the profiler doesn't run the unit test. It just creates an object of the test and exits. Doesn't run the actual test methods or @Before / @After methods. This is a maven project with surefire and junit 4. And partial output is below.     I'd like to set up a drag'n'drop list inside a modal window. The window's content is loaded via an AJAX call, so I believe I need to use jQuery's .live() method. Here is my current code: $('#cboxLoadedContent').live('load', function() { // Event for sortable page lists $('ul#pageList').sortable(); }); How can I set up bindings when the modal window loads? The modal window comes from the colorbox plugin. Note: I'm guessing that 'load' is not the right event to use, because if I throw a simple alert() in there, it doesn't even show up when the window loads.

My understanding so far is: IaaS: Raw Hardware (Processors, Networks, Storage). PaaS: OS, System Softwares, Development Framework, Virtual Machines. SaaS: Software Applications. It would be great if Stackoverflower's can share their understanding and experiences of cloud computing concept. EDIT: Ok, I will put it in more specific way - Amazon EC2: You don't have control over hardware layer. But you can take your choice of OS image, Dev Framework (.NET, J2EE, LAMP) and Application and put it on EC2 hardware. Can you deploy an applications built with Google App Engine or Azure on EC2? Google App Engine: You don't have control over hardware and OS and you get a specific Dev Framework to build your application. Can you take any existing Java or Python application and port it to GAE? Or vice versa, can applications that were built on GAE be taken out of GAE and ported to any Application Server like Websphere or Weblogic? Azure: You don't have control over hardware and OS and you get a specific Dev Framework to build your application. Can you take any existing .NET application and port it to Azure? Or vice versa, can applications that were built on Azure be taken out of Azure and ported to any Application Server like Biztalk?
