    I've created a jquery table that from time to time needs to be cleared and the re-populated, my clear method is this: //Clear table content before repopulating values $('#tabela_dash2_maquinas .real-content table tr:gt(0)').remove(); Now i'm trying to use tablesorter to sort a specific column, but my problem is that when I enable the tablesorter: //Initialize tablesorter $("table").tablesorter(); The table clearing method is not working anymore, it just keeps adding the new data with the old data, creating a lot of repeated information. Please help

    I've gone through ODBC API searching for a function that can extract information of a data source. The closest I found is SQLDataSources that enumerates all data sources and gives you the DSN name/description. But specifically I would to extract the TNS service name of an Oracle data source. This property appears in the registry under ServerName but I found no way to access it through an API.

  • Get information from a higher class?

    I don't know really how to word the question so please bear with me... I have 3 classes: Server, Database, and Table. Each class has a "Name" property. How I want it to work is that each server can have multiple databases and each database can have multiple tables. So in the Server class I have this property. Private _databases As List(Of Database) Public Property Databases() As List(Of Database) Get Return _databases End Get Set(ByVal value As List(Of Database)) _databases = value End Set End Property And I have something similar in the Database class for the tables. This works fine now because I can do something like this to get all the databases in the server. For Each db In s.Databases 's being the server object Debug.Print(db.Name) Next I would like to expand these classes. I want the server class to handle all the connection information and I would like the other classes to use the server class's connection information in them. For example, I setup a server class and set the connection string to the server. Then I want the database class to use serverclass.connectionstring property to connect to the server and get a list of all the databases. But I want to keep that code in the database class. How can I do this? I've attached some code of what I want to do.     I want to be able to show information (HTML basically) over an image when the mouse rolls over the image... I know there is a .hover() jQuery function but am unsure how to use it to get the desired effect. Ideally when a user hovers over an image it would "grey out" (e.g. layer of 50% opacity black) with some HTML like a title etc etc. Can someone point me in the right direction or provide sample code Thanks

The web service should provide a consolidated view of the data. All the SQL Server Express instances have the same DB schema. I was initially planning to use SQL server replication however as I understand it, SQL Server 2008 Express cannot be used as a publisher. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

After the user makes some selection and hits the "run" button I pass off the processing to a dll written in C# but what I want is a way to periodically send information back to the client so they can see what's going on like how many records have been processed and things like that.     Basically I'm looking for something to give me easy access to information like useragentstring.com, but in JS, without me parsing the user agent and looking for each possible bit of text. The object could be something like this: browser = UserAgent.Browser; // Chrome browserVer = UserAgent.BrowserVersion; // 5.0.342.9 os = UserAgent.OperatingSystem; // Windows NT osVer = UserAgent.OperatingSystemVersion; // 6.1 layoutEng = UserAgent.LayoutEngine; // WebKit layoutEngVer = UserAgent.LayoutEngineVersion; // 533.2 Does something similar to that exist or do I have to write one myself? Writing yet another user agent parser doesn't seem that easy with all those impersonations going back to the dark ages of the web. Specifically I'm looking for something that doesn't just split the user agent into parts and give them to me, because that's as useless as the user agent itself; instead it should parse the user agent and recognize the engine, browser, OS, etc. and return the concrete parts only, as in the example.

  • Using WPFPerf to profile a WPF 4.0 application doesn't show me any information

    I am trying to use WPFPerf to profile a WPF 4.0 application (I have the latest WPFPerf that should work on WPF 4.0 aps). I start the tool Visual Profiler from WPFPerf, I start my aplication, but after that nothing happens and the element tree from the Visual Profiler is empty. No other error message is shown. Can anyone tell me what am I not doint right? As an additional information, when I try to analize my .exe assembly or any other assembly from my application, I get a BadFormatException saying that the assembly was build with a newer version of .NET. From the download page http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=191420 I see that this version of WPFPerf should be ok for my app

  • Extracting glyph-path information from ttf files

    I'm trying to figure out a way to extract the information encoded in ttf files. namely: The char-to-glyph table and the individual glyph path data. Does anyone have a good reference explaining the ttf file structure, or some other solution? Keep in mind that I'm not interested in any libraries that can do it for me either (unless they are open source and I can see how they are doing it). The "master" goal is to implement it in Javascript. Thanks!
