• T-SQL Specific Syntax problem (Simple no doubt)

  Hi guys, I have an issue with a query I'm trying to run on some data, I guess the place to start is to describe the data. Ok so I have a list of email addresses, each email address has a unique ID and an account ID Also in my tables I have a set number which auto incrememnts, this will allow me to target duplicate email addresses What I need to do is something like this. Insert into duplicates (EMAIL,ACCOUNTID,ID) SELECT Email,AccountID,ID FROM EmailAddresses Group by Email,AccountID Having Count(email)>1 Order by AccountID, Email So essentially I want to select all duplicate email addresses and insert them (and their relative fields) into a new table broken down by accountID so I can run some further querys on it. I have been battling with this for way too long and could just use a fresh perspective. Cheers in advance

• How to find that 'runas' execution finished?

  I use ruby 1.9.3p194 (2012-04-20) [i386-mingw32] on Windows7 To do mySQL backup I run runas /savecred /user:yogurt\administrator "cmd.exe /k mysqldump --user=#{dbuser} --password=#{dbpassword} #{dbname} > #{dump}" - mysqldump must be executed as administrator. I do not run my ruby scripts under administrator account. runas starts new cmd.exe and ruby doesn't wait for it to finish. Dump process takes about one minute to finish. After that I zip the dump file and delete it. But I have to make sure that the dump process already finished before I do any other action on that file. Right now I use sleep(60) that works but I wonder if there any better more systematic solution.

  I want to build a site where people can create their personal websites quickly. All their websites will be hosted on my single web application (i.e. there will be only one database which contains info of all the websites). Each person will have an account where he can customize his website (template, content etc.). They can access their website from .mysite.com or mysite.com/xyz. I should be able to add different modules frequently, which will immediately reflect in all the websites created through my site. Based on the above requirements, please suggest me if there are any frameworks to use which can ease my job. Also suggest me which language to use (php or java). Which one would be better.

• what happens when I don't manage to call `recv` fast enough?

  Hi all, I want to account for a possible scenario where clients of my TCP/IP stream socket service send data to my service faster than it manages to move the data to its buffers (I am talking about application buffers, naturally) with recv and work with it. So basically, what happens in such scenarios? Obviously, some sort of service beneath my service which is a user application, has to receive incoming stream and store it somewhere until I issue 'recv', right? Most certainly the operating system. I don't want to re-open old questions, but I can't seem to find an answer to this seemingly obvious one?

• iPhone: Going from transformed layers to jpeg

  I have a bunch of images that are transformed (using touch gestures). I want to take the transformations the user does to the images and create a jpeg from it. (ie. if a user rotates a photo to the right, I want to get a jpeg of the photo rotate to the right just as the looks on screen). This takes into account that the photo could be bigger than whats displayed on screen too (no screenshots). I'm trying to use CGContext (CGContextRotateCTM specifically) but its not been too successful. Thanks for the help.

The second has a nicer syntax but loads the entire list of that accounts projects, then does in memory filtering. • Grails unit testing and bootstrap

  I wrote an unit test for a controller. I have a Bootstrap file which alter the metaclass of domain classes by adding a method asPublicMap(). I use this method in the controller to return domain classes as json but only some selected public fields. My unit test failed because of MissingMethodException for asPublicMap(). As I understood, bootstrap classes are not loaded for unit tests, only for integration tests. That's why I got this error. My question is : Is there another place to put metaclass manipulation in order to take them into account during unit tests ?

It will be run at log in and log out. The command to run this program will be set via GPO and will include command line operators to control what data the program sends. I have used a few built in C# classes to find out information about the computer, which is then sent of to a server as a web request.   Here's a simple question I've been stuck on for a while. When I set < identity impersonate=true > in my web.config so that asp.net impersonates the logged on user automatically (or the anonymous account if not using Windows Authentication), where does the identity that asp.net impersonates come from? This document: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff649264.aspx shows three places you can retrieve information about the logged on user: Httpcontext.Current.user System.Threading.Thread.Current System.Security.Principal.WindowsIdentity.GetCurrent It seems that none of these locations consistently match the identity that gets impersonated when I set < identity impersonate=true > in web.config. I would like to know where the impersonated identity comes from.

  Hi. I intend to make some software to be sold over internet. I've only created open-source before, so I have really no idea of how to protect it from being cracked and distributed as warez. Bearing in mind that I know like two programms that aren't either cracked or not really useful I decided that the only more or less reliable way may look like this: Connect to a server and provide licensing info and some sort of hardware summary info If everything is fine, the server returns some crucial missing parts of the program bound to that certain pc along with the usage limit of say 2 days That crucial stuff is not saved to hard drive, so it is downloaded every time the program starts, if the programm runs more than 2 days, data is downloaded again If the same info is used from different computers, suspend the customer account What do you think about this? It may seem a bit to restrictive, but I'd better make less sales at first then eventually see my precious killer app downloaded for free. Anyways, first I need some basic theory/tutorials/guides about how to ensure that user only uses a certain Java app if he has paid for it, so please suggest some. Thanks

• Drupal Error After Logging In

  Hello everyone. I'm kinda new to using drupal and i'm just wondering why I kind of get this error on my new site. See i have this website under WampServer running drupal6-16. Everytime I log in with my pre-created admin account 'admin01' pass: 'admin01' i get redirected to the WampServer localhost which appears to be unusual since the header does not have the WampServer logo. I already tried creating a new drupal website with the same database and the same thing happens. Also, I tried creating another website with a new database but I copied the other website's theme and other contents and the same thing happens. Help me please. I am losing my grip on this. :( Note: I have the same website running on one PC and i am just trying to run it on another PC by copying all its contents. The original copy is working perfectly but I can't seem to get the hook on my new copies to work on other PCs.

• Distributing requests to Selenium Grid RC's?

  I've got a situation here where I have a central selenium grid hub, and several RC's running on my gogrid account. When I access it to run tests, it basically queues all the incoming test requests and executes them serially on only one of the RC's, instead of spreading them out to use available RC's. The tests come from multiple projects, so I'm not looking to parallelize the tests themselves, just to split the requests that come from multiple projects across the multiple RC's. From everything I've read, it seems like selenium grid should be doing this already, yet I only see one RC used to run every single test. Is there something I'm missing?

  I'm currently trying to write a script that gets messages from my gmail account but I'm noticing a problem. If poplib loops through a message in my inbox it will never loop through it again.   I am currently writing an interal advertising system for a company client's website, where the adverts will only be seen by internal users, and all transactions take place internally to the site (i.e. the adverts are for member-only content available on the site). Does anyone have any recommendations as to the best way to track the conversion rate of these adverts (i.e. views:clicks:sales)? EDIT I'm not looking for a 'Why don't you use google analystics'-type answer, I'm looking into possible architecture outlines, i.e. a 'why don't use store a guid in a cache temporarily and see if it ties to the advert' kind of answer. /EDIT In a previous job I did something based on an internal cache, which simply did view:click tracking, however the addition of the sales rate makes this task more complex, especially if we take into account the idea that someone may click through to an advert and not purchase immediately. • Window sizing constraints by content

  I want the window to respect MinWidth/MinHeight and MaxWidth/MaxHeight specifications of the content control inside. Some suggested using SizeToContent, but this only helps to set the initial window size, not the constraints. Others suggested overriding MeasureOverride and setting window's Min/Max height and width there, but this seems to be somewhat unclean, considering that such a trivial problem should surely have a purely declarative solution. Just to mention another solution which seems reasonable but does not work (and had been previously mentioned in an answer which got deleted): binding MinWidth of the window to MinWidth of the control does not take into account window decorations.

  I am considering using In App Purchase for our iPhone app. But since we will offer a larger quantity of content items (10 video items each day added), I would like to automate the new product registration in iTunes Connect. Is this possible ? If not: how long does it typically take before Apple approves a new registred product in iTunes Connect ? Since the content looses quickly it's 'freshness' (news broadcasts...), it is crucial to be able to have new content available ASAP. Would you recommend using In App Purchase for this scenario or would you recommend developing our own payment & account system ?
